I ordered pasta for catering. Everyone at the event asked for the restaurant's info. The penne a la vodka was one of the best I had since living in California. Customer service was on point. In fact, they went out of their way to make my orders which took about 45 mins. Prices are reasonable. While I was waiting I noticed several families having dinner and enjoying the ambiance. Nice restaurant, super friendly staff, really clean restroom.Went in to get something simple like French fries, didn't really it wasn't that kind of place aha. Right when I stepped inside it smelled good, like fresh pasta and garlic bread! I got a personal sized pepperoni pizza. The pizza was tasty, and it was a good size for just me. We regret coming to this place after many years. My wife ordered the seafood pasta,and it was horrible. The smell made my daughter vomit. It was inedible. The garlic knots were burnt on top. Ordered uber eats from this restaurant on a Sunday evening. Food arrived fast enough and they were packaged very well. We have tried crispy calamari, milestone soup, pork chop, penne pasta and baked stuffed pasta. Everything tasted so comforting in large portions. Sad to say the quality of the food is slowly deteriorating. My wife ordered cioppino and lentil soup for dinner. The lentil soup was chunky, dry, no carrot, no celery, no broth. The cioppino was so spicy, it was inedible. We told the waitress; she said will ask the kitchen to make a new dish. When she brought the dish back, we could tell that they just replaced the broth with tomato sauce. Taste was nothing like cioppino, most of the seafood in the dish was gone, the clams had no meat. We will most likely not come back. We try to support locally own businesses so will look for another Italian restaurant to try. read more

Very disappointed in the quality of the food. My girlfriend ordered the Honey glazed pork loin, the pork was tough and drenched in several inches of gravy. I had the chicken cacciatore, the sauce was good, however the chicken was a very thin cutlet with little to no flavor. My girlfriend also ordered the crème brûlée, she described it as the worst crème brûlée she has ever had, it was curled. On a good note the bread was excellent, and our server was very nice, but a little on the inexperienced side. We will not be returning. read more

I wanted a late night pasta dish and I just happen to find De Luca's. I've never been there and the inside of the restaurant was very cute and authentic! I did a call in order and the service was so fast! They weren't kidding when they said the portion sizes were huge! And my past dish came with salad and bread. Everything had great flavor! Fantastic food. Service needs help. I would think that on Mothers Day they would bring in extra help. Unfortunately this was not a great experience. Once the food was served we got ignored. I had to chase down a server for extra drinks. Still no offer of desert at all. The worst thing for me is to be ignored after the food was served. I would have had a better time at Chic fil a. I'm not sure how this restaurant even has 4 star rating. Note that I did not eat the food here so I cannot judge the food. But based on my experience with their service and ambiance, this restaurant is a complete disaster. I had made reservations over 3 weeks in advance for 6:30pm for a party of 11. And when I called them on the actual day to confirm the reservation, they had made it for 6pm instead, an error on their part. But, he claimed they were able to adjust the time. When we arrived at 6:30, the host said that they could not seat a large party altogether and that we had to sit in separate tables far away from each other. This was a complete lie, as I had seen a large party in the main dining room when I walked to use the bathroom. Then, he confessed and told us that they mismanaged and didn't have our table ready so they needed 10-15 minutes to set up. But, the place was so packed and tight, there was no seat for us. We waited in their bar lobby area for 15 minutes and still no table, so we decided to leave and dined at Il Gatto restaurant in La Habra, which they were able to accommodate us last minute and seated us right away. This establishment is so outdated and dilapidated, it seems like the owner takes no pride in even caring for this place, which is truly disappointing. We had to sit waiting next to cardboard boxes and propane gas tanks. There was dust all over alcohol bottles and dents in the walls, and the inside was so hot with no air conditioning. It was really an uncomfortable experience. I tried to give this restaurant a chance but after seeing how unprofessional and disorganized the staff is and the lack of physical care or upkeep that goes into this restaurant, there really is no point. read more

The service was great, ambiance was nice. We had the Penne Arrabbiata which was very good! The flavor was great, just the right amount of heat (spice). The portion size was enough for two! We also ordered pizza. My favorite was the pepperoni, the others were a little too heavy for me. With that being said, they were all very good. Unfortunately, De Luca's missed the mark on just about every level. The service was painfully slow, with only 3 tables on a Monday evening. We waited far too long to be seated & served. Not to mention, the bar area that we were waiting in to be seated looks more like a storage closet than an actual bar. As for the food, it was underwhelming at best. I ordered the Chicken Cacciatore and despite coming out piping hot, it was so bland and lacked any real flavor or seasoning. The sauces tasted like it came straight from can and nothing felt fresh. Same goes for the soup and side pastas that came with the entrees. This was my first time trying De Luca's and sadly it won't be getting a second chance. read more

Our server was friendly, attentive, and went over the menu with us. This added another level of enjoyment to our dinning experience. Had a Ceasars Salad and a pizza, both were terrible.The salad had croutons from a package, dressing that was meh! I took most of the pizza home for my husband and we both decided that it was inedible. It was covered in pounds of cheese, bland chicken. We threw it out! We had an event for the first time in the banquet room. The staff allowed us to come in earlier the day of to set up flowers for each of the tables. Which I really appreciated. The room was set up very well, there was enough for us to move around and socialize during the event. The service was friendly, quick and wonderful to all of us. The food was great (lasagna, fettuccine & spaghetti with meat sauce). The bread was fresh and warm when it was brought to the table. Thank you very much the positive experience.
