    Thalia and La Rosa Drinks

Don't miss out on trying La Rosa. I recommend it. Everything ordered came out delicious and fresh. I have to point out their Aguachiles. Wow! They were so fresh, flavorful and yes as they should they had a spicy kick. Trio Enchiladas is a great dish so you can know which salsa is your favorite. The red ones were my husband's favorite. Pasta Al Durango was tasty I would just suggest adding more sauce as I thought it got a little too dry as it cooled down. Down part was that their complimentary sopa de fideo was a little on the salty side. If they can fix that, it would taste just like our mommy's sopa de fideo. It's also a great place to explore their drink menu. They were yummy. Their service was very kind, attentive and they treated you with respect at all time. Will be returning.

Many locals have been waiting to visit this restaurant. Luckily, Fullerton, Brea, and La Habra residents support local businesses. Saw a "soft opening" for this weekend in February 2026. Decided on a Friday Date Night. The inside is beautiful. You can tell the owners put a lot of money into the decorations, tables, chairs, restrooms, and overall decor. It almost feels like a 1980's Miami Vice theme with the purple, green, and blues. Not a bad thing, just different and flashy. Beautiful Spanish music playing on background speakers. Place is very quiet. The drinks were on the sweeter end, but still very good. Could use a little more alcohol with La Rosa & Thalia. I rarely drink and couldn't taste the alcohol, but lots of sugar. There's no chips & salsa, but rather a complimentary Sopa De Fideo. It tasted incredible. Little hints of spice and perfectly warm. We skipped appetizer and went straight to Entrees. Trio Enchiladas were Cheese (red sauce), chicken (green/white sauce), and shrimp (green sauce). Cheese and chicken were great, the shrimp wasn't good. I tried, but it didn't pair right with my palate. The beans tasted homemade and has some spice to it. The rice was ok. Nothing bad, nothing great, just meh. Wife had Arrachera con Papas. Steak was cooked medium and had great flavor with chimichurri sauce. Papas were average. Black beans and rice with just good. The real winner was desert. The lava cake (Pastel de Lava Estilo Abuelita). Presentation was beautiful and lots of fruit on the side. Greta sharing for two. Wish I took a picture. Overall, 7.5/10 restaurant. 2 drinks, 2 entrees, and 1 desert. Out the door price with tip around $150. Pretty pricey for Mexican food. But the food was good. Not sure if it was memorable. But I would visit again since it's close and local. But also to try different items on the menu. They have a kids menu. It's very reasonably priced at $9 each item. But this is more of a date spot and not a kids restaurant.

A Hidden Gem in La Habra! I recently had the pleasure of dining at a stunning Mexican restaurant that just opened about four months ago, and I can't stop raving about it! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the elegant atmosphere and the warm welcome from the staff. The menu is impressive, and honestly, you can't go wrong with anything you choose. Each dish I tried was of top-notch quality, bursting with flavor. The drinks were equally delightful! It's hard to put into words just how amazing everything tasted--this place truly defies description. Ideal for a date night, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in La Habra. I'm excited to share this jewel with others because it perfectly exemplifies what a quality dining experience should be. The service was A+, with staff frequently checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly kind and passionate about her restaurant. I genuinely hope it thrives and extends its hours to Monday through Sunday. This place deserves all the traffic it can get! Competitors, watch out! I highly recommend you stop by and experience it for yourself. Check out my photos to see just how beautiful the food and ambiance are. Trust me, you won't regret it!

    Hennessy Mamgo Mojito & Talia

La Rosa Mexican Food in La Habra was incredible! The cocktails were the highlight of the night--beautifully crafted, delicious, and presented perfectly. We tried the Hennessy Mango Mojito, Talia with Prosecco, La Rosa Martini, and the Abuelita Espresso Martini, and every single one was amazing. The queso fundido was a flavorful, shareable starter, and both the Enchilada Trio and the Ribeye with Lobster Tail were outstanding. The house-made salsa verde, habanero crema, and chipotle chili sauce were the perfect finishing touch. We ended the night with the lava cake and berries, which was the perfect dessert. We devoured every bite and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Our first time here and we loved it! We had the agua chile trio and it was absolutely delicious !! They do a agua chili twist that is a must try! Moved on to the main dish. Enchilada trio and michoacan pasta. Both were delicious. Food and drinks are a 10! Service was also great and ambiance was perfect. We would definitely come back. Anyone in the area needs to come check this place out.

Visited this beautiful restaurant over the weekend with friends and we had a great time ! The inside is beautiful , definitely some great photo opportunities ! The food was 100/10 ordered- Arrachera con papa and the pasta à la Michoacana . Both were amazing , presentation was perfect ! The Drinks were AMAZING!!! 1000/10 . The service was attentive and friendly . The bathroom is so beautiful and mirrors ready for your selfies !! Go visit this beautiful hidden gem !!! We will be back very soon !

Tried this last Friday evening. Awesome place, friendly staff, great drinks. Initially we went in just for drinks as I had booked another place in Brea, but after looking at the menu, we decided to eat here. The food was very good and we were extremely happy with meal and service throughout. It was early when we arrived around 4:30, so not busy, but it filled up well by the time we left. We live fairly close by and this will be a regular spot for us.

I came here with a few friends and we were blown away. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was amazing--great music and a really aesthetic, cute interior. But the real star is the food. You can tell the chef has perfected every single dish; it's easily some of the best I've ever had. To top it off, the customer service was incredible. La Rosa is a total 5-star experience. I'll definitely be back soon!

This one absolutely nailed it. Reservations are required, and they're usually booked up, so I'd missed my chance in the past by remembering too late. This time I was on a solo trip and managed to snag a spot by booking early in the morning. It happened to be the last night of their Great Gatsby theme, and they executed it perfectly, from the details to the overall atmosphere. I love that they rotate themes instead of sticking with the same setup every time; it keeps things exciting and gives people a reason to keep coming back. The drinks and food were both top-notch. Every single person I interacted with- bartenders, servers, and hosts- was amazing, super friendly, and helpful. Can't wait to go back and see what the next theme brings.

We were there on Sunday, October 3rd around 3pm. We asked who the owners were because we were really impressed with the place and thought they might be the same owners as another location we had visited. There was absolutely no bad intention behind the question. The male bartender told us that no one name drops anymore. I understood what he was saying and was more than willing to move on. But then I asked him if the bar offered whiskey sours and he responded, "You really don't know what you're doing here and what you want." I was honestly so taken back by that comment. I don't normally stay quiet when someone speaks to me disrespectfully, but I was so caught off guard that I didn't even know what to say. Before that, he had also yelled out to the host that she didn't need to worry because we didn't know the owners and that she could relax. The whole interaction was completely unnecessary and made us feel very uncomfortable. We came in wanting to enjoy the atmosphere and have a good time. Instead, we left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. There is a way to speak to customers, even if you feel they are asking questions you don't like. We did nothing to deserve that kind of attitude. The Blind Rabbit may be a great place, but unfortunately, the way we were treated by this bartender completely ruined the experience for us. Customer service matters, and unfortunately, ours was extremely disappointing.

There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant which is often full. We usually park in the free multi-story parking garage just east of Harbor and Wilshire. It is a short one block walk to High Horse from there. As the name suggests, the décor is very western themed with lots of wood, cowboy hats and boots, wagon wheels, lassos, saddles, taxidermy, etc. Seating options include booths, high top tables, and at the bar. They have happy hour Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm with food and drink specials. We started out with the pickle fries ($12) which were excellent. The pickle slice thickness to batter ratio was perfect, and they were served with a side of ranch. My first cocktail was The Smoking Gun (bacon washed Elijah Craig bourbon, maple syrup, angostura bitters, orange bitters, $18). It is smoked tableside and was a healthy pour. The bacon and maple flavor was very light, but it was very smooth. Her first cocktail was What Would Dolly Do? (Hornitos plata tequila, Los Sundays jalapeno tequila, Del Maguey peubla mezcal, simple syrup, lime, pineapple, grapefruit, $16). It was balanced with good jalapeno flavor and pineapple below with a light smokiness. For my entrée, I had the half slab of baby back rips ribs ($28) with coleslaw and fries. The plate arrived steaming hot and I was impressed with the portion of ribs. There were seven meaty ribs that were very flavorful and the BBQ sauce was good. The fries were crisp and seasoned, and the coleslaw was good too. She had the Up The Creek spice rubbed cedar-plank salmon ($26) with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The portion of salmon was good and it was flavorful. The asparagus was cooked well, but they were over salted. She also enjoyed the potatoes. My second cocktail was the Skinny Dipper (Tito's vodka, St. Germain, aloe vera water, watermelon, lime, $15). This drink was light and refreshing, with floral notes, and watermelon and lime standing out. It also had a great looking color. Her second cocktail was Ladies Love Outlaws (rose petal infused Ketel One vodka, St. Germain, simple syrup, grapefruit, lemon, rose wine, $16). This was also light with floral notes, and had good grapefruit flavor. It was very lively at 6:30pm on a Thursday evening. We left a little after 8pm, and the place was packed as they have line dancing. There was a big crowd of at least twenty people dancing in front of the restaurant and having a great time. The service was good, and our server was very friendly. The food and drinks were great, and I think they were a pretty good value for the price.

We got there right when they opened and got seated at a booth. They had football running on all the tv's, except the large one above the back entrance was playing the Dodgers game. We were stoked! Within a few minutes the manager was pointing a remote up at the TV to switch to football. My husband politely went up and asked him if he could leave it on the Dodgers game. The manager just said "no." When my husband clarified if there was a way to keep it on the game, the manager again just said "no". This was a very rude way to answer someone just asking a question. He could have at least given a slight apology, or a quick explanation as to why he had to put all tvs on football, but he chose to just keep looking up at the TV and just say "no". We asked the waitress also and she said something like "we have to have all the tvs on football" or something. This was nuts considering there were a few other people in there,,and trust me, they weren't glued to one of the 5 tvs watching football. We were hoping they could just change one of the tvs by our booth. The food was great, as we love their wings and their fountain drinks. It wasn't a dealer breaker that we couldn't watch baseball, but it WAS a dealer breaker that we had such a rude interaction with the manager guy.

I ordered the jumbo shrimp linguine, and the butter sauce was so good I couldn't resist dipping my bread in it. I love a restaurant that serves warm bread and soft butter!! The sourdough bread they bring to the table was soft and really delicious. I had the Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo, which was very good. My friends shared the Short Rib Pappardelle, which was a generous portion for two people. We didn't realize it was prepared right in front of you, so getting to watch it being made was such a special treat! The only small downside was that my friends felt the Short Rib Pappardelle needed a little more flavor. They ended up adding some salt to bring out the taste. I have to give a huge shoutout to our waiter! He overheard us saying happy birthday to our friend, and without us even asking, he brought her a complimentary dessert. Such a thoughtful gesture and definitely made the night extra special. Overall, we had a great time and really appreciated the attentive service and little touches that made our dinner memorable!
