Ghost tip nails

Walked into this place around 5 PM on a Friday afternoon. Luckily there wasn't a long wait and they had very friendly, accommodating service! I asked for a design and they were able to give me exactly what I wanted. I've been looking for a good salon in the downtown area with reasonable pricing and it seems that I've found it. I'll absolutely be returning and if you're looking for a great nail salon I definitely recommend it!

Ugh! These people saved my life!! I broke my natural nail so far up that I couldn't just trim it. I've been in pain unable to do much. So I ran around downtown in full panic looking for a salon that would help me. Every single one turned me down saying they're booked. I get it, it's 6p I don't have an appointment and they wanna go home but it's one nail with regular polish. I don't even need anything special just glue or that powder thing that makes it hard. Anyways, I took a scooter all the way to dazzle cause I was determined. I walked in 20mins to close basically on my hands and knees and the young gentle man immediately sat me in a chair and like 4 or 5 other techs came over chitter chatting about ion know what but next thing I knew there was polish being slathered on and powder sprinkled. He even asked if it hurt and if I was ok. Literally my hero! Gonna go and have a glass of wine after this! Thank you Dazzle Nails!

Walked in with my mom to get mani pedis. They were very welcoming. We were greeted, immediately in a chair, and started to get our nails done. Everyone was so nice and professional! This was our first time here. They did such a good job in every way and were very fast. We will definitely be back! I work with my hands a lot so my nails were in bad shape and they made them look SO GOOD!! If you want your nails done right come here!

I have been coming to Dazzle Nail Spa for over 3 years now consistently and it's by far the cleanest, friendliest nail salon in town! The owners always make everyone comfortable once they enter their doors by offering a variety of refreshments including sparkling water or wine and asking them what color they want for their service. If you're unsure, don't hesitate to ask Alex, he will gladly give you his recommendation! My nails are so strong from getting Dip Manicures here. I also recommend any of their spa pedicure packages, they are so relaxing! They quite literally treat me like family every time I come in and I'm so grateful I found a reputable nail salon in Austin that I can trust every time. Thank you for always letting me get creative with my colors, Dazzles!

what i wanted

Very nice staff members, but they didn't give me the color i wanted. They tried to mix a color more similar, but all their options didn't end up right. They tried though.

I tried to be optimistic, coupled with a convenient location for me, decided to make an appointment for a regular manicure at Dazzle. Online reservation form and text confirmation was great! Upon arriving, they acknowledged my appointment and I was seated right away. When I confirmed that I was there for a regular manicure (not dip or gel), that's where the service started to decline. I asked for my nails to be trimmed but was told the almond shape is hard to accommodate with any shorter length. The nail tech decided that filing is best (a day following my appt and one nail already broke, pictured). The buffing and cuticle trim was very quick, and nail polish application even quicker. I noticed there was some cotton / stray strands but the nail tech painted right over it. I made a point to call out a black speck on my thumb to which she responded "I'll have to completely remove the color to fix." I said yes, I want it fixed. Very rushed job and then the tech told me "all done" and left. No drying spray or fan to help with the drying process. I was left sitting in the chair and checked my phone to time 5 minutes before getting up and proceeded to stand at the register to make my payment. Not sure what the typical experience is here for regular manicures but will not be returning due to my recent experience. Photos are from one day after my appointment: shows debris (bumps) mixed in the color, a broken nail due to excessive filing and color pulling away / chipping from the cuticle.

Dazzle Nails Spa is my favorite and go-to place for dip manicures and gel pedicures. In addition I've also gotten my eyebrows waxed and tinted for vacations. The salon is clean and the staff is nice. The owner is kind & personable, and ensures that you have a great experience! There is a parking lot that is free, and the salon is within walking distance from the rest of downtown. Whether you're in a rush or need time to relax, I highly recommend you call for an appointment to convenience yourself, but they always welcome walk-ins! They always do an excellent job and give you a reason to keep coming back for more amazing services! Highly recommend Dazzle.

Staff was very nice. I had gel nails that were very hard to take off and they did it quickly and efficiently without damaging my natural nails.

I am from out of town and decided to come here to get a dip mani and I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received. First off I had gel on my nails and to remove it she had me soak my fingers in a bowl of acetone rather than foil wraps which dried out my nails and cuticles so bad. After the removal she didn't even bother cutting my cuticles or manicuring my fingers - I had to ask her to trim a couple really bad hangnails but the rest was left untouched. How is cuticle maintenance not standard practice here? Second, I came in with long almond nails that took a while to grow out and I asked for a slightly shorter almond shape. Without even asking me what length I wanted the woman cut and filed them down so short to these awful little uneven nubs that are not close to almond shape. As you can see from the photos my cuticles are insanely dry with cuticle skin flaking everywhere, and there's paint all over my nails and fingertips! My nails are anything but dazzling. Usually freshly done nails make me feel so pretty but these make me want to cry.

clean and nice!

Updating my review and very sad to do it. I was really hoping this would be my new go-to but I don't think this is the case. My nails didn't last a day before chipping. And it didn't stop there. They have chipped a ton and broken super easily, not even a week since I got them done. I haven't had this problem with any other salon that I've tried recently, so I don't believe it to be because I'm hard on my nails or anything. I'm so sad and disappointed Sorry Dazzle, but it's not cutting it.

Have been here twice already for pedicures and really enjoyed my experience both times! The prices are very reasonable. I love love love how clean this place is, especially the fact that it's spaced out to not be crowded like some nail salons can be. Tina took care of me both times and really took her time on foot care / massage even before painting the colors. Even painting them, she made sure that everything was perfect! The service is definitely one of the best (from Tina) and keeps me wanting to come back! My feet had some blisters that were still healing and she made sure to work around them, even put on bandaids for me afterwards (,: (Also a plus that there's a parking lot in downtown) Will come back to get my hands done soon. So glad I found this gem of a place. Thank you Tina!

Update: The salon was very quick to reach out and make things better, thank you Adore Nail Lounge!…read more I've been going here for over a year and today was the first time I had a bad experience. It felt like Vicky half-assed the entire pedicure. I added the callus remover as an extra and she barely applied the product and did two swipes with the remover equipment. My nails aren't cut straight and a couple nails at crooked. She also took the nail file over my big toe after she painted and had the nails under the light... and it's now super rough over the nail polish and messed up the polish. She handed me the ticket to pay and got up and walked away without even leaving me a pathway to get up from the chair, leaving her equipment cart in that spot, it was the technician right next to her that kindly moved it for me. Overall, the vibes in the salon are great! I would just avoid Vicky as a nail tech.

It was very nice. And they had a steam machine keeping my legs warm between steps of the pedicure. 1 STAR -- ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED! PAINFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND A COMPLETE WASTE OF $45!…read more I am beyond disgusted and extremely disappointed with the nail service I received yesterday at Dream Spa in Austin, Texas. I have had my nails done before, but this was by far one of the most uncomfortable, frustrating, and unacceptable experiences I have ever had at a nail salon. From the painful application process to the horrible final results, this entire experience was completely unsatisfactory. First and foremost, NO CUSTOMER SHOULD EVER BE EXPECTED TO SIT THROUGH PAIN JUST TO GET THEIR NAILS DONE! During my appointment, the male nail technician placed my nails under the curing lamp, and I immediately began experiencing an intense burning sensation. I repeatedly communicated to him that my nails were burning and that the heat was painful. Instead of acknowledging my discomfort, taking my concerns seriously, or making adjustments to the process, he continued to insist that I push through the pain and keep my nails under the lamp. Let me be very clear: I WAS NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT A LITTLE DISCOMFORT. I WAS TELLING HIM THAT MY NAILS WERE BURNING! The fact that I had to repeatedly express that I was in pain, only to feel pressured to continue, was absolutely unacceptable. At what point does the comfort and safety of a paying customer become a priority? Why should anyone have to endure a burning sensation simply because a nail technician wants to finish the service? What makes this experience even more upsetting is that after enduring all of that discomfort, THE FINAL RESULTS WERE TERRIBLE! I have attached multiple pictures because I want people to see exactly what I walked out of this establishment with. The nails are visibly inconsistent in shape and appearance. The application looks sloppy, the edges are uneven, and the finish is far from the smooth, polished, professional look that I expected. Some of the nails appear bulky, while others have irregular edges and an uneven finish. There is also visible product around the cuticle areas, making the overall application look messy and poorly executed. The side-view pictures are particularly disappointing because they show just how uneven and awkward some of the nails look. The tips do not appear consistently shaped, and the overall structure lacks the clean, refined appearance that should come with a professional manicure. HOW DO YOU PUT A CUSTOMER THROUGH THAT MUCH PAIN AND STILL DELIVER RESULTS THAT LOOK LIKE THIS? I paid for a professional nail service, not an experience where I would be expected to tolerate burning sensations, repeatedly advocate for my own comfort, and then leave with nails that look unfinished and poorly done. And to make matters worse, THEY STILL HAD THE NERVE TO CHARGE ME $45! Forty-five dollars for what, exactly? For the pain? For the uneven nails? For the messy application? For having my concerns repeatedly dismissed? I find it absolutely ridiculous that this establishment felt comfortable collecting full payment for a service that was so disappointing from beginning to end. I understand that nail technicians have different techniques and levels of experience. I also understand that certain nail products can cause heat sensations during curing. However, there is a major difference between explaining a normal part of a service and repeatedly expecting a customer to endure pain after they have clearly communicated that something is wrong. Customer comfort should NEVER be treated as an inconvenience. A professional should listen when a customer says something hurts. A professional should care about the finished product. And a professional business should take responsibility when a service does not meet reasonable expectations. Instead of leaving happy with beautiful nails, I left upset about the quality of the work and disgusted by how my concerns about the burning sensation were handled. I genuinely cannot understand how anyone could look at the results shown in these pictures and consider this acceptable professional work, especially after charging $45. Dream Spa, this was NOT quality service. This was NOT a relaxing experience. And this was absolutely NOT worth $45. I am sharing this review because other potential customers deserve to know about my experience before spending their hard-earned money here. I strongly encourage anyone considering this establishment to look closely at my pictures and decide whether this is the level of service they are willing to pay for. I expected professionalism, attention to detail, and basic consideration for my comfort. Unfortunately, I received none of those things to my satisfaction. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Dream Spa, and I have no desire to return.

My nail tech was super friendly and did an amazing job on a custom French manicure. I asked for a thicker style, and we originally planned for a clear top coat. But she accidentally used one with subtle glitter specks--and honestly, it turned out even better than I expected. It gave the look a fun, unexpected sparkle that I ended up loving! One of the thoughtful touches I really liked was that they give you your manicure kit to take home (if you are a first timer), which you can bring back for $3 off your next visit. Compared to other salons in town that offer Russian manicures, the prices here are very reasonable. The salon itself has a super cute vibe--kind of like a "cotton candy chic" aesthetic with a light, airy feel.
