The absolute worst decision you could make is going here. I was cut so many times and so deeply that 2 hours my fingers were ~still~ bleeding. When I went in to talk to Rose and she told me she would refund me if I let them remove my nails. My actual fingers are bleeding and Rose is saying she would have to file my nails again in order to provide me a refund- this would definitely cause an infection, and makes no sense. Rose even told me that she feels as if I did these cuts to myself. When I asked if I could see the cosmetology license of tech that did my nails, they refused to even tell me her name- her tools had the name Tracy on them. Legally, I am allowed to know this information and to look it up. Once I said that I would be reporting my injuries to the State Board someone else stepped in and told Rose to issue the refund and finally took photos of my injuries that they cause. Please note my initial request was for my injuries be noted incase I get an infection.

    Dip/SNS manicure

I've tried multiple "popular" nails salons off South Lamar/in the South Austin area and cycled through them aimlessly until finding Pink Blossoms (formerly PJ Nails). My experience has been nothing but amazing with dip/SNS nails! They never break or chip like other salons and they have an endless amount of colors. This salon also listen to the shaping that I prefer and always double check that they're even. My nails almost always last the full 2 weeks unless I'm hard on them and I have extended them out until 3-4 weeks when necessary. Parking here is also plentiful (located right off Beecave). Attaching some of the various designs I've had done here! To refute some of the previous reviews that are older than a year, ownership recently changed this summer (of 2022) and I've loved my nails & service even more since. Have also had some great pedicures done as well but I'm a loyal dip manicure-est every 2-3 weeks.

The man doing my nails was very harsh and these are by far some of the worst nails I've ever received it's unfortunate and with a basic pedicure that isn't even fully painted I paid $130 I felt that that was a scam all of them are uneven and lifting after getting them done yesterday..

I wanted to try the 'glazed donut' trend, which should have been simple enough... a light pink base with white chrome on top. First of all, there was no nail care involved or included with this $50 (base) dip manicure. When I noticed the nail tech was going straight in with a drill on my hot mess cuticles (I'm a new mom and hadn't gotten my nails done in months) and wasn't going to soak or trim them, I inquired about it and she said she would do my cuticles after she finished my dip nails. I've gotten at least 100 manicures and I've never witnessed this practice, although she acted like it was routine. After she applied, cut and filed the tips, I noticed some were super misshapen and asked her to correct them. She said she would do it after she applied the powder. Not sure why she wouldn't just do it before and I ultimately had to remind her once the powder was on. Some still aren't a good shape; I'll be trying to correct them at home. The photo I showed her had a solid base color on the nails. She just used the light pink she already had on the counter, telling me it was perfect. It was not perfect. It was way too light, you can completely see the white spots on my natural nail underneath and the tips are white, not pink. They basically look like super grown out nails. What might bother me the most, though, is that, since she didn't trim my nail underneath, and because she applied what might as well be clear powder on top of the dip tips, you can see the ends of my square naturals nail through my almond shaped extensions. It does not look good. When it came time for the chrome, she pulled a bag out, opened two seemingly random containers and asked ME which one she should use. How should I know? One was clearly green, so I told, "her probably not that one," and showed her the reference picture again. I asked her if the chrome would cover the imperfections of my natural nails and she said no lol. She chose pink chrome and you can tell it's pink. It's not the more subtle look I showed her or was going for. Also, you have to get up and wash your own hands here during the manicure. And the cuticle care never happened. I guess she thought the drill did enough. No lotion at the end, no hand massage. I was so excited about this self-care experience, my first manicure after having a baby, but every time I look down at my hands I like them less. I really, really wish the base was solid. It's so frustrating. Especially since I paid like $64 + tip for these (the weird pink chrome cost extra). Needless to say, I won't be returning to this nail salon.

Worst gel manicure ever, couldn't get my polish off so used a "drill " and slipped off multiple…read moretimes and "drilled" my fingers ! Pedicure hurt! Horrible Do not recommend .
