It was very nice. And they had a steam machine keeping my legs warm between steps of the pedicure. The man who did my pedicure was very accommodating with making sure things were the right temperature and doing exactly what I wanted. I'm in my 9th month of pregnancy and they helped my swollen sausage feet feel good for a day lol The place was clean. Staff was kind. The music was relaxing. Instrumental covers of popular songs. This was my first time to get a pedicure and luckily they were on class pass and i had some expiring credits so i opted for the volcano pedicure. I was very impressed by the service. I've been coming to Dream Spa now for several years since moving to Austin so am overdue on writing this review, but my most recent experience reminded me of why they're so great! I wash my hands a lot as a healthcare worker, so my cuticles can become a dry mess, but the team at Dream Spa always leaves them looking great! More recently, I made the switch from gel manicures to dip because it holds up much better to my constant handwashing. After my initial dip manicure, the topcoat was acting funny and started peeling off within a few days. I walked in to show them, and was quickly seated, topcoat re-done, no questions asked. This pic is now two weeks out from the manicure (which is why my nails are grown out a bit, and my cuticles starting to act up a bit again), about a week and a half from the topcoat being fixed, and I'm still getting compliments! read more

She was very kind, understanding, and responsive, and she offered credit for both the gel manicure and brow wax. I'm a regular customer at Dream Spa, which is why this review is disappointing to write. I came in yesterday after a long day working at the hospital, really needing some relaxation and self care. I booked a pedicure, gel manicure, and eyebrow wax. The pedicure was great, the technician was amazing, very sweet, and did a wonderful job. That part of the visit was exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, the rest of my services felt extremely rushed and far below what I've experienced here before. The technician who did my gel manicure and eyebrows didn't speak at all and moved so quickly that the quality really suffered. I had to ask her to fix multiple spots on my nails, and even after that, they still don't look good. The polish is uneven (some nails are lighter and others darker), there was leftover gel underneath my nails, and they honestly look like they're already growing out- even though I literally just had them done yesterday. The manicure itself felt incomplete. She only applied lotion and did a very quick massage on one hand only (maybe 10 seconds) and didn't even bother with the other hand. My eyebrow wax was also rushed she didn't even wax the middle between my brows, which I didn't notice until I got home. I came in hoping to unwind after work, but instead I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I've had good experiences here before, so I hope this feedback is taken seriously. I would come back for a pedicure, but I'd only feel comfortable booking other services if I could request a different technician. read more

My friend and I booked pedicures here day-of. It's located next to Kome, so we've driven by it many times but have never stopped in. So glad we did! There was a party checking out when we walked in, so we waited a few minutes and then checked in. We were immediately seated and serviced. The salon employees sat us together, we picked our colors, and they got to work. They removed the existing polish quickly, and the whole gel pedicure took a little less than an hour. Found this place on ClassPass and saw good reviews. I decided to get my birthday nail set here (gel full set) and I walked out unsatisfied. I had 2 cuts on different fingers and each nail is shaped differently. I asked for almond but it looked more like thick ovals. I wanted a design on my ring finger since I got a simple color and the lady recommended chrome, she had to redo it a few times but it still looked messy in the end. I've attached photos of my most recent set that I am in love with. Although I've had great experiences here in the past, I had an extremely uncomfortable experience yesterday.. I was told multiple times by a male technician to "smile more". Initially I brushed it off but he continued to make comments about how I'd "look better if I smiled more". I am not a rude customer & I have been a loyal customer for years. If it wasn't for Amy I would have left the establishment and not returned, however I understand that one person does not reflect the entire business. Moving forward I'll be sure to request Amy or any other nail tech besides the man that insisted on making remarks regarding my face. I went in for a dip manicure on my natural nails. I arrived at 4:15 PM and didn't leave until 6:15 PM. I initially started with a female technician, but partway through, she abruptly left and a male technician took over without explanation. It took them about 45 minutes just to remove my previous dip manicure. I left feeling very dissatisfied with the service. The manicure lacked attention to detail and care. The dip powder is thick and uneven, with little to no filing done to smooth it out. The sides of my nails were not cleaned up properly, and the overall result does not look like the work of a professional. I will not be returning to Dream Spa. read more
