Nice pedicure and pleasant experience here. Clean and had no wait during the weekday I went. Would go again.

I went in for a dip manicure on my natural nails. I arrived at 4:15 PM and didn't leave until 6:15 PM. I initially started with a female technician, but partway through, she abruptly left and a male technician took over without explanation. It took them about 45 minutes just to remove my previous dip manicure. I left feeling very dissatisfied with the service. The manicure lacked attention to detail and care. The dip powder is thick and uneven, with little to no filing done to smooth it out. The sides of my nails were not cleaned up properly, and the overall result does not look like the work of a professional. I will not be returning to Dream Spa. read more

My first time coming to dream spa and definitely my last. I discovered them through ClassPass and was excited to try since it's much closer to me than my usual nail place down south. Nowhere on their ClassPass page does it say they charge for nail removal when booking a premium service like SNS dip manicure... was surprised to find out at the end of the extra surprise charges that I was not made aware of prior to booking with them, otherwise I would've just stuck with my usual spot that is $15 cheaper. When I pointed this out to the front desk girl kindly, she proceeded to gaslight me and said she can see it listed on her business view under "How to Prepare". Okay great... how does that help the customer when it's not listed on the page we see when booking?? See attached pics which are the customers view. She double downed and blamed the change on new management adding up-charges, and said I can take it up with ClassPass directly. CP doesn't have direct customer service that's on Dream Spa to make sure their listings are accurate and up to date. I'm in customer service too and the customer is always right - especially when you're proven wrong (I showed her the listing attached here). You don't proceed to be scammy and give attitude. I get my nails done monthly and I've never been charged for takeoff when booking a SNS manicure. Every place I've ever gone to in Austin (and I've been to many) includes it (and if they didn't they'd clearly list it) - just go to Pure Nails, Queen Spa or really any of the other spots for better service and no hidden add-on charges and less sketchy business practices. Classic example of short term gain vs long term retention. I would've started going here monthly for my SNS manicures cuz the guy did a good job and was friendly + it's more convenient for me, but because of the front desk girl's lack of principles and short term greed, I will take my business elsewhere! Left a bad impression - I do not like feeling like a business is pulling a fast one on me. I will NOT be back. read more

Rosy is wonderful! Very helpful suggestions, as I wasn't sure what I wanted. My nails are beautiful. I'll be back in 2 weeks!

Went to dream spa to get my nails done. Even on a Thursday afternoon parking is hard to come by in this parking lot. So beware you might have to walk for a bit. I liked my lady she was Nu d and complimented my color choice a lot. My only complaint would be that my nails aren't straight some did come out crooked. Which she said was because my fingers aren't straight. No biggie at all. But considering I've gotten my nails done multiple times before and this is the first time I'm told this and see this kind of confuses me. I'm not sure if she just did my nails differently from other places or my fingers got like this over time. So now I want to try going somewhere else before I visit dream spa again. read more

I hadn't been in for a while, the individual who performed my pedicure was rough and was scraping my nails with force, once he removed the gel polish. After I asked him to trim my an in grown nail he ended up cutting me. Never had this happen before. Anywhere else. His colleague stepped in and she finished the pedicure to only forget to put lotion on my legs and feet. When I went to pay they didn't provide any compensation, it's my fault for asking to have them trim my the extra skin build up. So I paid full price. It will be difficult to come back. read more

Rosy was so nice great service and vibes, she exceeded my expectations!. Will definitely book with her again.

They refused to fix my moms poorly painted nails. When calmly asking for the owner/refund, the man and receptionist at front threatened to call the cops on us. If you are a Black woman, avoid. Not only did they treat us like this after we noticed the mistakes, they paired us with nail techs that had horrible attitudes and rushed to get us out of the door, not standing by their work at all. They are also unhygienic and use dirty tools on clients. Save yourself the time, money, & irritation; go somewhere else! I have NO idea how this place has such high reviews! read more

So I took a friend to do her nails as a present....holy smokes I am blown away. We made the appointment in person(they said it's by appt only fyi) to make sure she could get what she wanted. They said yes and we scheduled. We got there and they looked at the photo and got to work. My friend said they were very gentle and I saw first hand that they were very detail-oriented. One person did the acrylics and another did the specific design. They did specifically what we asked for based on the photo we showed them. Amazing! And everyone was so nice! read more

I booked the "Heavenly Head Bath" experience through ClassPass since I had a lot of credits to use. It was 45 credits (roughly $90), which is about the same as similar treatments in Austin. The description on the website doesn't really explain much, so I didn't know what to expect, but overall I enjoyed the experience! When I arrived, the receptionist brought me to the changing room/bathroom area and gave me a towel and robe to wear. You keep your pants on and only undress from the waist up, so be sure to wear comfortable clothing! They have lockers to keep your stuff in since there isn't really anywhere to put your things in the room. After a few minutes, Mai, the person doing my treatment, came to get me and escorted me to the head bath room. The room had a few beds, so I'm not sure if they do multiple treatments at once, but I was the only one there at the time. The room was dimly lit with relaxing music playing. Mai helped me get comfortable on the bed using pillows and several blankets. I felt like I was in a cocoon and I definitely could have fallen asleep! The actual treatment consists of quite a few different things. There is a facial, which includes cleansing, exfoliating, and a few different moisturizing masks. It was somewhat hard to tell what she was doing with my hair, but it seemed like she did a hair mask at first and then went in and scrubbed my scalp with her fingers and nails later. She was very thorough! My favorite parts were the massages. Mai stretched out my neck, and massaged my temples, forehead, neck, shoulders, forearms, hands, and right below my collarbones which felt amazing. She was quite gentle, which was perfect for me, but if you're used to more intense massages you may be disappointed. The massages were mixed in between the treatments, probably so that the masks could soak in. Mai ended up going at least 15 minutes over the time allotted, which I really appreciated! Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but there were a few cons to consider before booking. I think that the products used during the facial are not the best for sensitive skin, and I ended up breaking out over half my face in the following days. I did notice that the exfoliating mask had what felt like sugar granules, which I generally avoid since they can cause skin damage. The hydrating mask had a strong artificial cucumber fragrance, which could have also been what irritated my skin. They make it very clear when booking that the treatment does not include any kind of hair drying or blowout service, which I understood, but it still wasn't ideal leaving the spa with soaking wet hair. They do have a blow dryer and a brush in the bathroom for anyone to use, but don't seem to have any styling products, so be sure to bring your own. Lastly, the changing room/bathroom is the same area that people getting their nails done have access to, so it could be somewhat uncomfortable if you're changing and someone walks in unexpectedly. The best parts of this experience were definitely the massage and the results I saw in my scalp! Immediately after drying my hair, I noticed that it felt lighter than usual and it was super shiny. I think the treatments may have even temporarily boosted my hair texture, so my waves were less frizzy than usual. In summary: I would recommend booking this treatment if you want to experience the head bath or a scalp treatment. The massage was a nice bonus! If you have sensitive skin, I would recommend telling the person doing your treatment so that they can avoid using anything irritating. I will say that it doesn't feel as luxe or relaxing as some other spa experiences, but I think that's to be expected since it's in a nail salon. Mai and the other staff I interacted with were super sweet, and I will definitely consider coming back to try their other treatments! read more

Dream Spa - Nail full set acrylic French - Nail Salons Near Me - Austin, Texas

I went in for a french manicure yesterday and my nails are all uneven and lumpy. my thumb was where I should have just asked for a new tech because she showed me the nails as she was applying the white polish for the french tip and I asked her if she could fix my thumb because it was super uneven. She redid it but she kept added more polish and not leaving long enough them to cure under the uv light. When I left the salon on my drive home my thumb nail started oozing with wet polish and I realized my nails were lumpy and I woke up this morning (the next day) to several of my nails peeled back due to not being dried properly. This was my first time in a while getting my nails done and it was so disappointing I don't think I will be going to get them done again anytime soon after this experience. Update: They offered to fix my damaged nails for free (thank you to the lady who fixed them the fixed nails are better than the rest of the set!:3) They apparently have a 7 day warranty on any damaged nails. However, they requested that i delete my review because of this and I will not. I feel as though this review still deserves to be expressed due to how lumpy the rest of the set is, as well as little black hairs that are in the polish and now on my nails from the previous application. I think this establishment generally needs quality control and just better customer service. read more

Been going for about 1 year and love the place. Yes, make an appointment but that's the normal across Austin at any place that is GREAT. I came here with acrylic nails, tried dip and then they suggested trying gel and I haven't turned back. Saved my nails. Recently I wasn't able to come in for 2 months and there was very little hair catching at the base and ALL nails survived! I get Stiletto-ish shape and "frosted" coat. read more

Amy does a fantastic job on acrylic nails every single time. Bonus is she is efficient for us busy moms.

Lyly did an amazing job with my acrylics she was sweet and very talented with the nail art. I got a full set and sent her a reference picture of what I wanted to get done for the nail art and she executed it perfectly. I got them done two weeks ago and they are holding up perfectly. read more

Booked a pedi with a friend here for a Saturday morning. It was semi busy, but still had the quiet ambiance that I enjoy when getting a pedi. I also appreciate the ease of booking an appointment online, and you can easily request to sit with a friend. I booked "The Lux" pedi and it took about 30 ish minutes. Alex did a great job! Afterwards, can dry off at the beverage bar where they offer drinks, white/red wine or soft drinks. read more

I came in with no appointment and was able to get the milk N' orange pedicure and try out their head bath. The pedicure was the best I've had, I wasn't able to catch his name. But this elder man took him time and really took care of me during our appointment together. Being 6 months pregnant, my feet really appreciated it! The head bath was delightful and relaxing! Mai did a great job, her touch is gentle and relaxing. She put me right to sleep. The neck and shoulder massage was just what I needed!! read more

Best nails I have ever had. I got hard gel with extensions and Alex listened to exactly what I wanted. He took the time to get the right length and perfect shape. When I described what kind of color I wanted he found the perfect one. And these have held up so far! The prices are excellent, easy to find on their website, and booking online is a breeze. read more

Dream Spa - Amazing nails still perfection after six days! - Nail Salons Near Me - Austin, Texas

I went in for a dip mani on June 15. and the product they used was subpar. The dip was cracking and chunks of the product chipped off my nail two days ago. I was told they only guarantee a dip manicure for 1 week. Allie (person who answered the phone) told me I need to pay for an entire set of nails. The products Dream Spa used were either old or defective because I've had my nails done for over 40 years and I've never had a set go bad after two weeks. I've never had a salon not at least try to make an effort to make me happy. They weren't interested in making it right... only having me come in and pay more money. I asked the person on the phone (Allie again) if it was worth a bad Yelp review to not fix my nails and I was told I could do what I needed to do to "make myself feel better." The place was clean enough, but I did notice A LOT of nail dust EVERYWHERE. The bottle the technician used was old and had dried-on product at the tip of the bottle. Should have been my first clue. I asked to speak with the manager or owner to confirm the policy of not doing any touch ups or fixes after 1 week, and was told neither the owner nor the manager was at the salon to speak to me. They would have to call me back. I'm still waiting to hear from someone. Looks like Dream Spa was a bit of a nightmare for me. I hope your experience is a better one. read more

My bf and I came for pedicures and I decided to get acrylic nails for myself done after. The place seemed nice and the animal videos were cute and funny. But...This place gave us both toenail fungus for $200! They do not professionally sanitize here. They didn't open fresh tools when doing our pedis or my nails. It's a week later and my big toenails are falling off. See photo. I noticed my right big toenail was lifting. It's completely lifted off and only attached at the cuticle now. Very painful. My bf's toenails are yellow. As for my acrylic set, the other technician did a decent job and said she could do a design I had in mind, but it didn't come out well at all. Don't expect Instagram nails here. The place was empty except for 2 others when we were there yet our services were so rushed. Overall way too expensive for what we had done. $200 for: a male's pedicure (no polish), gel pedicure, and acrylic fill. read more

Checked this place out due to all of the positive reviews and reasonable prices listed on their website! Was not disappointed in price, color choices, cleanliness, friendliness or their work. Only giving 4 stars because my pedicure massage chair did not work which is almost the whole point behind me getting a pedicure. And I saw other people drinking out of glasses and saw champagne flutes on my way out and was not offered anything to drink. I would've loved a glass of something if it was offered! Nonetheless I will be back and I really enjoyed their music choice (which was calming acoustic covers of popular songs) read more

I've been here a few times since I saw they have great reviews but unfortunately I was disappointed each time. The salon is big and clean which is a great plus but every time, my nails have been uneven and the nail technicians unfriendly. Most recently, I noticed the nail tech left gel polish on my finger skin, so I walked back in to get it fixed, and she had an attitude and removed it in a rude way. I won't be back. read more

Everything extremely unsanitary, extremely dirty. All the nail techs were extremely rude and the girl doing my nails was making racists comments. The only nice person was the girl in the front desk.
