Sigh, I didn't want to do this but I'm so bummed. I've been going to Dream Spa for a little over six months now and up to this point things had been great. Great ambiance, clean, quiet. Went in for my usual gel manicure on a Sunday morning, had a fine time, walked out with great nails. Fast forward to just a few hours later and realized that the polish had bubbled up and started to burst out from underneath my top coat! Nothing like this had ever happened to me before, it was so gross. I called and they said no problem, we'll take care of fixing it. A few days go by because they are a little out of my way, again, the service is what kept me going. When I was able to finally get up there, they paired me with the same girl I went to before. Claiming that the batteries were dying on the gel lamp, we seemed to get off on the right foot but when she started taking polish off of only the few nails that had noticeable damage I had to question that. In my opinion I felt like it should be a no brainer to just redo the whole set in good faith. That's when things took a turn for the worst and you know, honestly I have no idea why. I wasn't mad at her, and I'm still not mad at her. I'm disappointed. She went stone face and stopped talking to me, started using the mechanical tool to take off polish and buffer aggressively. To the point where it was uncomfortable. She didn't file my nails at all and started rushing through the polish. All this, while she's telling me "SWITCH" my hands out under the light, like Ross would say "PIVOT". Yea, like that. Anyway, at that point it got awkward. She just walked away when they were done, so I did the same. Oh well, right? Well I'm only here doing this now because after all of that, I noticed my thumb while laying in bed a little later that she painted over a piece of fuzz from a cotton swab. This salon has really going downhill. Now I've had my fair share of bad nails, I get it, it's not always going to be an amazing set or manicure or whatever, but I've never experienced something like this before. First of all, I was sat at a dirty table, literally felt the powder all over the table and flaking off everywhere. The man who helped me was very rude, he didn't change his gloves in between clients, which ended up getting dust and glitter all over my hands, my phone, my leggings. Even got glitter bits into my gel polish. That's one thing. The other thing was this man was aggressively snatching my hands in and out of the UV light, I felt so incredibly uncomfortable. Pulling and adjusting, and twisting my hands into this stupid old dirty UV light. It was humiliating. If you feel the need to move my hands any sort of way, you need to ask, DONT MANHANDLE CUSTOMERS. It's so incredibly unprofessional. This man also blamed me for my thumb not curing all the way. I know how gel is applied, I've had them my entire life and never in my life has my thumb ever been a problem. This man applied the gel so terrible it ended up chipping the moment I sat in my car. I know they don't offer a refunds cause they can fix it within a certain timeframe but I don't want anything to do with this salon, I'm aware of their policy of posting reviews online, and I don't care. Wow I read other reviews online but had to see for myself: dream spa blew my expectations out of the water. Amy is literally an artist! I made an appointment just three days before getting my nails done they were able to get me in no problem. I showed Amy a picture of what I wanted and not only did she deliver but she totally went above and beyond. Usually places are super slow and it always takes over an hour and a half for an acrylic fill, shaping, and gel manicure. With Amy she did it all in under and hour. This is a world record in my book. I scheduled a few different services on Monday 7/5 (facial, lashes, SNS manicure, pedicure) The positives: The women working there are super nice. It was very busy & although being slammed, they were very kind and accommodating. They offered me a complimentary sauna session, since it was taking longer than usual to get my lashes done. I would've loved to have gotten them done there, but had a time conflict at 6:30pm and couldn't wait any longer. *Got there around 2:30 for my appointment.* I don't consider a longer wait time to necessarily be bad if it's communicated appropriately, and I think they did do that well. Everyone I talked to that worked there seemed to try their best to focus on getting people in, or level setting expectations in a helpful way. Reason for lower rating: I always get dip manicures because they tend to last longer & don't chip the way other (traditional, or even gel) manicures I've had in the past tend to do. The one that I got at Dream Spa started to chip after only 2 days! Although I know they're probably busy, the only reason dip nails tend to chip is due to poor application/sealing. They're supposed to last. Everyone was so nice and I really want to love this place, but I'm kinda bummed that my manicure couldn't even last 3 days after. Hopefully it's a one time thing. The shop itself is lovely. Calm energy and quiet, so if that's your ideal setting, this is the spot! Everyone was nice, and I had a great time. I got a full acrylic set with chrome and tips. The reason I have to knock it is because the work by this particular technician was messy. I'm very particular so take it with a grain of salt, but the chrome/top coat does not go over the entire nail, the underside of the nails is messy with extra acrylic, the shape from nail to nail is not consistent, and my cuticles are honestly a mess too. I've had the nails for about 10 days, and I'm already considering getting them removed and redone. For ~80$, I'd like them to at least look good for the first 10 days I have them. I did mention the quality of work when I was checking out, and I got no feedback from the person at the front desk. The set is not the worst, but it's not tight work. I might give it one more try with a different technician before deciding if I return or not. read more

This salon is nice and clean and offers a lot of beauty services. It looks kind of closed on the outside bc the windows are tinted, but inside is nice and bright. There's a beautiful green plant wall when you enter an a cherry bloosom-esque tree in the middle. However the pedicure area is off to the side and didn't have much decor besides for a TV. I took my guy friend who was assigned a female technician and I was assigned a male technician. He asked a few questions on what he needed to do from his coworker. A few comments seemed unprofessional but otherwise the service and massage were great! He had misplaced one of the tools and the girl offered him the one she had (which she used on my friend's nails...) so I was a bit put off by that. Even my friend who's never had a pedi though that was weird. He ended up finding what he used on me so it was all good. Besides for some bits of unprofessionalism, I fet the service was very good and very reasonably priced! read more

Well, I have found my new pedicure spot in town. The space is huge and located right beside Kome. It is easily one of the most luxurious, peaceful "nail spas" I have ever visited. After having several pedicures around town, this is now my go-to spot. My wife and parents went in for a visit this past weekend and were extremely happy with the services provided. The pedicures were fairly priced, service was friendly and high quality, and the space was perfect for relaxation. My nail-tech Mai (if I remember correctly) did an excellent job of painting my toenails, they look fantastic and have been holding up very well in the days since. For far too long, I thought "dream spa" sold spa tubs... I now know better, they sell the best nail service I've received in town. I received a dip manicure that was poorly done, unhygienic, resulted in several cuts, and paint left on my skin. The morning after, my nails and cuticles were incredibly sore and inflamed. I tried putting antibacterial ointment on them, but several of the cuts are UNDER cured clear polish. I originally asked for a gel manicure but it turned out the color basket I was given was for dip. When I asked if there was a similar color but in gel, I was repeatedly told it was dip. I finally just agreed to getting the dip manicure. The technician did not do any cuticle work or prep before applying the dip. Then he tried cutting my cuticles and the excess dip away AFTER curing the first couple of layers. When I told him I was bleeding and asked if he had anything to stop it, he ignored me and tried cutting more away. I had to get the technician working on my friend's nails to get something for the bleeding. Then he added more powder and paint to the nails, including dipping the bleeding fingers into the pots, and trying to sand away some of the areas that were cured to my skin because of poor application. This resulted in another cut to my finger. The manicure itself is thick and bumpy and looks very unprofessional. When I was checked out by the technician that worked on my friend, he apologized that I got cut and for the poor manicure and said next time I should get the gel- yes, the thing I originally asked for. There will be no next time. I was told to contact management because he still had to charge me. I foolishly paid $120 for an absolutely terrible experience. I have called and sent an email and but no one has talked to me or responded. read more

MAKE AN APPORTIONMENT OR DON'T BOTHER GOING! My two friends and I came to the nail salon today and unfortunately we did not have appointments. We tell the front desk receptionist the services we wanted and she informed us that it would be a 25 minute wait, which we accepted and were happy to wait. The receptionist sits my friend and I at a pedicure station and my friend was attended to almost immediately. I on the other hand got to sit in a chair (which the back massage feature was broken) with my feet in cold water and the salon was very cold itself, so you can imagine how uncontrollable it felt. Once I was finally attended to after freezing for 30 minutes and my friends toe nails being almost completely finished, I inform the nail technician that I wanted acrylic nails on my two big toes (my big toe nails are very short and I wanted my nails to look perfectly shaped). She informed me that she would need assistance with this and would have to ask someone else to complete that service once she is completed with the cleaning of my toes and feet. Once it comes down to the time for the acrylic nails to be applied, I am essentially bullied into not getting the acrylic nails because she insisted it would take a very long time for someone to come apply them. I agreed unhappily and she applied the gel polish. During my pedicure my nail technician had to step away to help another customer in the middle of my pedicure. My question is...why couldn't I be shown with the same respect? Why couldn't another nail technician step away the same way my nail technician stepped away from my service to assist us with the application of two acrylic toe nails? After it was clear I was upset with the results of my toes, the nail technician continued to file down my toe nails all the way to the skin, hurting me. I hope that this salon treats their customers who have appointments with more care and respect than they did to me and make sure that they leave as a happy customer. Just another day waisting money on subpar services! I've included a screen shot of my bank statement showing the charges pending from Dream Spa since the manager wants to gaslight people and say that they can not find me as a customer in their records. I've been getting my hands done at Dream Spa for about a year, always the hard gel overlay. I got the full set once and then have been refilling for a year. My nails never chip, they last almost a month between refills, and I love never worrying about them. Amy is amazing with shape, speed, and custom art. Faith is a very talented nail artist. The men who work there are also generally good, especially on shape, and everyone is willing to try and match instagram photos (but obviously they charge extra for detailed designs). As soon as the restrictions of nails salons were lifted I scheduled my appointment ASAP for a pedicure. I am a runner and a kickboxer so my feet need some TLC after 2 months without one. I was able to book my appointment online no problem there. There was plenty of parking and sanitation measures in place. I loved that they had tons of different color nail polishes which automatically puts them higher than other local places. DreamSpa also offers other services such as spa treatments, facials, etc. My nail tech was Faith and she did an excellent job. She was super friendly and enjoyed the conversation and massage.
