Ivan and Michael also greeted me on the other end, utilizing the same qualities to deliver my items as well as arrange them. When I wasn't sure where to put something, they were great at recommending places. And when I wanted to change an item's location, they were amenable to that as well. They were so kind and good-humored, and made heavy lifting look easy. I was very happy that none of my many fragile items arrived broken or damaged. Kudos also to Drago, the rep who answered my initial call, listened carefully to my needs and said he'd assign me the best crew. He also was the only rep, of the many I spoke with, who wrote down my inventory exactly as I described it. And he quoted me a price that was a fraction of competitors' prices. I highly recommend this wonderful company!

Emily handled my concerns with professionalism, fairness, and real diligence. She could not have been nicer. She listened, took the issues seriously, and worked through them in a way that felt fair and respectful. My original concerns about the move itself remain what they were. But I also recognize that any business of this size can occasionally have a bad crew or a bad experience in the field. What matters is how the company responds when that happens. Here, the response after the move was excellent. Credit is due where credit is due: the post-move customer service, especially from Emily, was outstanding. For that reason, I am giving the company 5 stars for how it handled the aftermath and resolved the issues. I will use them the next time I move. Emily was that good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The second mover Rocco C. was somewhat more professional and did offer occasional advice, which I appreciated. However, when it came time to pack the cube, his approach felt careless and dismissive of my concerns. Rather than being helpful and solution-oriented, the process created more stress and confusion, ultimately causing additional headaches instead of providing the support I hired movers for in the first place. My biggest issue was with the office representative, Mari. Pricing was not communicated transparently. I was not informed ahead of time that charges were calculated per item moved rather than per hour, which led to unexpected and significantly higher costs. The office representative was adamant in charging me extra for an item that we previously discussed. The way this was handled felt misleading and came across as an attempt to overcharge. Overall, the experience lacked professionalism, clear communication, and customer care. I absolutely do NOT recommend using this company. Don't be swayed by any discounts or these five star reviews. One thing that really stood out to me was that instead of asking me how many boxes I need, they asked me to send them pics of my place and stuff, and they calculated the number of small, medium and large boxes I need. It's so easy to underestimate and get a different price at the end. Also, I know I wanted packers because its speeds up the entire process of moving and settling in. I'm so glad I did with Roadway. It usually takes me over half a week to pack and be stressed for over a week, but Diego and his 3 teammates packed up our studio in 2-3 hours. They're so professional. They moved so quickly with care and accuracy. Most importantly, all my kitchen appliances were wrapped with care and delivered and arrived to my new apartment in the same condition. It took us about 2 hrs to settle in, and they once again unpacked most of the furnitures and reassembled them, making me feel settled in and relaxed. I cannot thank their team enough. Before they even arrived, I got a tracking link to follow their location just like Uber, which immediately made me feel at ease. Crisanto and his crew showed up right on time and were incredible. They worked quickly but carefully, wrapping all of my furniture and somehow managing three giant mirrors without a single issue. Not one complaint and not one moment of stress. What really stood out was how above and beyond they went. They helped me figure out which part of my couch would actually fit in my space, laid out my rugs, and organized everything so I could still move around my studio comfortably. Also shoutout to one of the crew members who was on his first day. You truly could not tell. The whole team was professional, efficient, and just genuinely great to work with. I was emptying out my garage and needed to quickly get rid of the contents. The dumpster was delivered an hour later!! They went well above and beyond. The driver even helped us load the dumpster. Let me tell you, I didn't make it easy for Dave. We had scheduled (I thought) our pods to be dropped off on a Friday. Called the confirm with them, told nope, no appointment. So then I had to call Dave to let him know it was rescheduled for Monday. Alright, he'd make it work, he said. Well, come Monday they delivered the pods much earlier than they said they would. I've screwed up the schedule for two days now (or more, probably). Plus, at first they said the pods would only be with me for three hours or something because of some regulation for the New York area. So called Dave again, and he was understandably upset. Still, said he could be there at the time he'd said before. I got the pod people to leave the pods because I wasn't leaving them on the street and Dave's guys showed up right on schedule. Actually Dave even came by first to check out the job so he could call his guys and they knew what to expect. They unpacked my pods in no time flat. Recently, my brother passed away, and in the wake of this sad event, I was left in charge of managing his estate. As part of this task I needed someone to help me move all my brother's belongings to another location at my friend's house for storage so that I would be able to start working on the house to get it ready for sale, after the Estate's settlement to which I am to become the Executor. To help me with this major move, I called Dave's Moving Service, and Mr. David Buchy and his employees did a wonderful job, with helping me to move all the furniture and various other belongings that were left behind by my brother. In doing this, they were very Professional, prompt and quick, as well as courteous. They truly made this move that came upon me, suddenly, and in such a sad time, much easier on me. I highly recommend Dave and his team. they showed up on time and got to work right away, they made the whole process so easy and addressed my concerns with a few delicate items that needed special attention. they took the time to wrap every single piece of furniture and even the small things too like pictures. I highly recommend Dave's Moving Services. Dave and his guys were prompt, cheerful, helpful, and he charged me exactly what we had agreed to. Dave was always available to make sure things were running smoothly. All possessions were handled carefully with no mishaps at all. My moving job was a bit complicated with two different pickup points and two different delivery stops. They handled it all perfectly. And there were plenty of stairs involved, too! I came here to post about Dave and his crews road rage. Surprised I am not the only one to post about this. Dave and his truck merged into my lane while on his cellphone on the TZ/Cuomo bridge with no blinker. I gave him a honk, moved to the next lane. He then moved behind me, flashed his lights repeatedly, pulled up next to me tossed full water bottles at my car and then proceeded to follow me all the way to my exit. This guys not fit to be on the road, let alone in your house or business. read more
