    Update: Perfect moving found two cheap chairs on facebook marketplace (one looks fake, one broken), and offered to "replace" my $1,400 Herman Miller chair with one of those. This was their idea of a fair resolution. ------------------------------ I had an awful experience with Perfect Moving and strongly warn others to stay away. They broke multiple items during my move, including my $1,400 Herman Miller chair, a $500 West Elm floor lamp, my espresso machine, and more. Instead of taking responsibility, they insisted on paying only based on weight, which came out to just $40.80 for the chair and $16.8 for the lamp. The customer service was also shockingly unprofessional -- they implied the hole in my chair was pre-existing and even suggested that damage like this is "normal wear and tear" during a move. I also paid for their packing service, which turned out to be a complete joke. I specifically asked them to pack my kitchen, but everything was loosely thrown into boxes with no padding. Many of my appliances ended up scratched, and one oil bottle broke, splashing oil all over my kitchen items. Three weeks after my move and i'm still discovering new damages every day. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere for movers.

    Paul team track 4 - Paul and Fernando were phenomenal in moving me from the UES to Brooklyn on the hottest day of the summer yet. Even my plants made the move without damage! 10/10 recommend - thank you both!!

    Paul from Moving truck 4 was great to work with! He made the process so easy and quick. Brought moving blankets and tape and wrapped up my couch and desk so nicely and secured for the move. Everything made it to the new place safely. I appreciated how he came in, friendly demeanor but was super focused on getting the job done, and the timing was impeccable. Highly recommend!

    Great experience all around! Before the move Sam and team were very communicative. They were able to get me a certificate of insurance without any problem for my new building. Patrick and friend came out during the end of February 2026 blizzard. Literally moved me during the blizzard. I cannot thank these guys enough!

    Broken furniture legs

    I've never, ever been inspired to leave any kind of vender review before this terrible encounter. Our recent experience with Perfect Moving was a complete nightmare, starkly contrasting with the positive service we received from them a year ago. From the moment the crew arrived, their unprofessional and rude demeanor set a negative tone for the entire process. Moving is inherently stressful, imagine a crew showing up with an immediate aggressive, dismissive and careless attitude. The movers caused over $4000 in blatant damage just in what we've itemized (there's more and more we're finding eg. treadmill, mattress), yet offered only a $400 refund, claiming the damage was "normal wear and tear." This included a cracked sideboard, broken table legs, a gouged baby crib and changing table, and stained furniture from being stepped on. These items were previously moved without issue, and our additional images will prove this. The standard insurance policy should not apply when there is such blatant disregard for property. The rest of our stuff seems to have been thrown in a pile in the garage so afraid to see what else we find. The crew also coerced our nanny, a complete bystander who we made clear had no financial responsibility with the move. They charged us an additional $1,010--more than half the original price--without our authorization. Despite clear instructions not to take any items to charge us extra, they proceeded, ignoring our role as the cardholder. This is unacceptable. Amy, who coordinated the move, was given detailed information and photos of 95% of our items. Her failure to inventory properly is not our fault. On moving day, her unprofessionalism led to a screaming match. The crew was rude and unaccommodating, adding stress to an already stressful day. Jolena, the claims specialist, was supposed to review our case objectively and help find an equitable resolution. Instead, she perpetuated the same behaviors by denying, justifying, or rationalizing our concerns and ignoring any facts and inconsistencies as we pointed them out if they didn't work in their favor. We've seen Rock, the business owner, respond to other reviews and look forward to hearing from him. Despite attempts to speak with someone else at Perfect Moving, we've received no response. The response will likely mention a crew member was injured moving an elliptical, but this is due to their incompetence. The same equipment was moved in without issue by a previous crew of three with no special equipment. They'll also say something like my mother-in-law was coordinating and authorized but when we the cardholder said not to that doesn't register. Another thing they'll mention is sending another crew as a courtesy but they didn't tell us and no one was even there when they first arrived. Their disrespect extended beyond our home. The neighbors saw the crew literally throw garbage out of their truck into their driveway, leaving a mess that we had to clean up. This behavior was not only irresponsible but also embarrassing, as it reflected poorly on us in our neighborhood. Be warned: Perfect Moving has engaged in illegal procedures by recording calls without disclosing they were doing so or obtaining at minimum one-way consent. This lack of transparency is concerning and adds to the distrust we now feel towards the company. The emotional distress caused by this move was significant. The stress of dealing with broken furniture, unauthorized charges, and a crew that seemed to care little about the impact of their actions was overwhelming. The financial burden of repairing or replacing damaged items only adds to the frustration. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. We hope to resolve these issues with Perfect Moving but feel compelled to warn others about our ordeal. Avoid this company if you value your belongings and peace of mind.

One thing that really stood out to me was that instead of asking me how many boxes I need, they asked me to send them pics of my place and stuff, and they calculated the number of small, medium and large boxes I need. It's so easy to underestimate and get a different price at the end. Also, I know I wanted packers because its speeds up the entire process of moving and settling in. I'm so glad I did with Roadway. It usually takes me over half a week to pack and be stressed for over a week, but Diego and his 3 teammates packed up our studio in 2-3 hours. They're so professional. They moved so quickly with care and accuracy. Most importantly, all my kitchen appliances were wrapped with care and delivered and arrived to my new apartment in the same condition. It took us about 2 hrs to settle in, and they once again unpacked most of the furnitures and reassembled them, making me feel settled in and relaxed. I cannot thank their team enough. They're all so polite, friendly and efficient. Within 1 day, I already feel 95% settled in. It's the easiest, stress-free moving experience I had in a while!

One of them was shattered. Thankfully it was the one I hadn't yet filled with photos. The other one would have been disastrous since it had photos of my dad who recently passed away. Even novice movers know you don't put glass frames at the bottom of a box of books!!!! I'm seriously afraid to see what else got damaged in the numerous boxes I have yet to unpack. It's pathetic.

Leading up to the move Karina was in close contact with us every step of the way making sure we had all of the information and help needed to ensure things would run smoothly. Day of, Romy and his team were personable, professional, fast (yet careful) and incredibly accommodating - I'm hopeful we won't be moving again soon, but if we were I would absolutely be requesting Romy and his team again. One bit of context - We had heard that Vector was one of the least expensive options available - for us, their quote did come back in the upper middle of the 6 or 7 companies we looked at, but also did not change, and there was no pressure placed on us to pay extra for the handful of things we failed to account for in the initial quote.

We have moved multiple times in east cost always use the same mover from NY. This time thought of trying a NJ based mover. Here are the issues 1.Lack of professional behavior. They came inside saw that entryway table had a few bills picked them up asked me which currency it is. 2. One of the kitchen packers opens lid of my spice box (I had leaves and chillies puts his nose in sniffs and asks what is it? 3. Packed every little thing in white wrapper so unpacking was hell. Single stainless steel spoon wrapped in 4 layers of packing . 4. Who does this .packing open can of bleach with groceries. While unpacking I saw white dust thought its paint once I hit end of box it was bleach so ended up throwing everything from that box. Which professional mover does that 5. Random packing. I had very organized closet but they picked random items and packed in diff boxes so i had box with sweaters pillow covers photo frames and belts all from diff parts of closet. LASTLY we were given pricing we paid that by bill and paid $800 extra over that without receipt as they demanded that they packed box. When vector gave me a quote it included 10 medium boxes $20 per box but the guys packed everything with white wrapper in kitten not one but 4 sheets and increased boxes packed to 30 , unethically charging us for small boxes stuffed with white paper. Please note it was a very painful experience and no one deserves this kind of billing or nonsense
