Once again, U. Santini comes though brilliantly. With three moves in four years under my belt, you'd think I would have decluttered more effectively, but no. This move was not as complicated as the last one, but it's not so simple moving from a 2800 foot condo into a four room railroad flat! So I called U. Santini--our third time using them. Moving from Queens to Brooklyn, I contacted U. Santini on the recommendation of a coworker. I submitted my phone number and was contacted for a quote the following day. The price I was given was very reasonable for a 1-person move, and I was told I was at the minimum and could even pack 5 to 10 more boxes and the price would be the same. Really cool. As I was packing, I realized, yep, I have way more crap than I thought I did and ended up packing over double the amount of boxes I told them. The movers showed up promptly, and Super Mario assessed my stuff. Then, the unbelievable happened. It felt like I turned around for five minutes, and all my boxes and furniture were already moved out. These guys work smart and lightning fast--the entire move only took THREE HOURS including an hour of travel time. They're also very friendly and professional. Upon inspection at my new apartment, I can't find any damage to my belongings whatsoever. And what I was charged was somehow even less than the quote, because they used packing materials efficiently and sparingly. I highly, highly recommend U. We are still recovering from our stressful move, but it's still one of the best moving experiences we've ever had due to the hard work of the people at U. Santini Moving. It started with a very quick reply to my inquiry, then continued with an almost spot-on estimate by Simi, who came to our apartment (fully masked and vaxed), then went around with his clipboard taking notes. We worked like crazy to get things packed, but COVID took a week, so of course we were running behind. No worries! On moving day, Mario and the crew showed up at 8:57 with a big pack of tape and plenty of blankets. They're as fast as they are careful, and it was pretty amazing to watch (this was the part where spouse and I just kind of gave up getting anything else done ourselves and let these whirlwinds do their magic). Next, they drove over to the storage locker we'd rented and quickly packed the contents into the truck, too! (Btw, renting that space was one of the smartest decisions we've ever made, because we didn't have to live in a box fort for a month.) Delivery of our stuff was set up for the next day because of the distance and timing of our move. First thing in the morning, they were there, waiting to start the delivery train. This time, there was a long trek up to our apartment, so they set up like a conveyor belt and moved the dollies along. (So much stuff. It's wrong and it's painful. ANYWAY.) Dan even called us a day or two after to make sure we were satisfied with how everything went. Okay, at this moment, I remember the names of about half the guys, but we wrote them down . . . somewhere. And when I find it, I will update with the specifics, because each of them was so helpful, polite, kind, and effective, they deserve individual recognition. But now . . . I've got boxes to open and work to do. UPDATE: Still trying to fit my kitchenware into a space about half the size, but I found my notes with the guys names! They were amazing, and having moved several times in NYC (like everyone else?), we know what we're talking about. We'd specifically like to thank John, Billy, and Andres, and Oscar, who spent so much time and effort helping us get at the boxes deposited in the right places. Shout out to Simi, Super Mario, John, Oscar and Mark for conducting a fast and smooth move for us from Brooklyn to New Jersey! We spent weeks packing what we thought was an insurmountable pile of stuff for a one bedroom apartment including some annoying items like a 29 gallon fish tank and a very heavy standing desk. Our move was further complicated by our building deciding to conduct an emergency power test and notifying us only days before the move. The test would put an upper limit of four hours on the whole operation. To make matters worse, the weather forecast changed to rain for the day of the move. Simi allayed these concerns for us over the phone and offered to reschedule if we'd be more comfortable with that but assured us that the team would be able to pull the move off. Wanting to just get all of this over and done with, we opted to go ahead with the move as scheduled. On the day of the move, Super Mario and team came exactly on time and worked non-stop. We stood there slack jawed as we watched the contents of our entire apartment wrapped up and wheeled into the truck in two hours -- well ahead of the emergency power test! They arrived at our new address just moments after us and quickly got to work unloading. We labeled all of our boxes so those automatically found their way to the right rooms. For unlabeled items and furniture, they asked us for directions and helpfully placed things right where we needed them. We had new floors installed so we were also happy to see that they put down a mat to dry off their boots before entering the house. When all was said and done, our move actually occurred faster than expected and dropped the final cost of our move several hundred dollars below the initial estimate. This was great news! What a great experience! U. Santini made sure that I had piece of mind for my move, they took care of everything. It was easy to get a quote from Santini. Simi helped me out immediately and provided an estimate of what the move would cost. As opposed to most other moving companies, that quote was actually what the move ended up costing, almost to the dollar. The company handled the paperwork with my building and showed up on the moving day on time. I had packed up all the boxes, and Joe and Billy took care of the furniture and my bicycle and loaded it all up in their van. (The Santini vans look beautiful, by the way, love the decor.) The delivery at the new address took place the next day. Joe and Billy kept me updated on the arrival time, and unloaded everything where it was due. It was a great experience. I was skeptical to move my apartment with a moving company at all (love to manage all the details) but Santini made it very easy for us. Sales: they provided a great quote with all the details explained thoroughly. Simi did his best to accommodate my endless questions lol thank you one more time. They provided COIs easily and quickly approved by my 2 building managements. Actual moving date: actual business includes both elevator and non elevator buildings. 3 hard working, fully equipped men came to do the hard work; Joseph, Elliot and Oscar. Communication and professionalism was beyond my expectations. They did a fantastic job with an incredible work ethic and speed. The way they handled the stairs was wonderful. We had to unexpectedly move our things out of the apartment for a period of time and my husband found this service to be the most cost-effective. We used this company's packing, moving and storage service The moving out process was relatively uneventful but upon unpacking I was very confused by the way things were packed. You could tell that the approach to packing was different between the movers that initiated the process. We had some wedding photos that were triple wrapped with intentional care while others were in a box with other unrelated items and they were not protected at all. They told my husband to buy baking soda to leave in the fridge prior to short term storage to prevent any growth. Then someone removed and packed that baking soda which resulted in significant biological growth upon return. Some boxes were pristine while others were haphazardly put together. Our fridge ended up with some dings in the freezer portion, one of our stove burners was broken and a few other items within boxes were broken (but they weren't significant in value). While initially, communications regarding the stove were fruitful, they stopped returning my husband's calls and now he's trying to figure out how to fix the stove himself. If I was packing everything up myself and not moving larger appliances, I would still try this company again. read more

I was moving from NYC to CT and needed to assistance with packing up my apartment and moving to my new condo. Billy, Vincent & Oscar were incredible!! I decided to write a review even before I started unpacking. I had such a great experience and received such excelled service from Super Mario and John. They came right when they said they would, moved my items to their truck FAST and carefully, skipped their lunch, drove from Long Island to Bed-Stuy, and unloaded everything fast and efficiently. I had unexpected painters in my apartment (sent by the management do I had no idea they would be there) and they worked around them and really just helped me out above and beyond what they had to. The rate they gave me initially was spot on and they worked really hard to not go above that. I hope I don't have to move for another 5 years since I hate packing, but if I ever do, I will be calling them and getting Super Mario and John to help me out. read more

We used U. Santini to move between 2 apartments in Brooklyn (Cobble Hill to Park Slope). They were really good. They came round in advance of the move to check out how much stuff we had and were really friendly. On the day they arrived on time, at 8:45am, and quickly got to work packing all our things. They packed carefully, but also quickly. With a 5-man team it took 4 hours from arrival to leaving, including packing everything, loading and unloading it (there were elevators in both apartments, but in the new one we're on the 6th floor and it's a slow elevator). They hardly took any breaks at all, working basically non-stop. They were really polite and friendly the whole time, asking us if they weren't sure about where to put something etc. The only slight negatives were - they way over-estimated how long it would take when giving us a quote... The fee is on a time & expenses basis, so they only charge for what they use/how long it takes, so the actual cost was really reasonable. But they estimated it would take double the amount of time! Fortunately we went with them anyway, but it is worth checking they are not being over-cautious if your quote seems a bit high. Other thing was that they put our record player in a box on its side. It's not antique or anything and it still works fine, so no damage, but probably worth pointing out if you have anything which you think is a bit sensitive when they're packing. read more
