Franks been coming here for at least 25 years for a bag of donuts made to order. Love the way this place has not progressed over time. Sure they added the maple donut and maple / bacon donut but that's the only thing different. You have a the options of plain, powdered sugar or the chocolate with seasonal colored sprinkles. As for fresh well let FRANK TELL YOU how fresh they are. Your watching these babies roll off the production line right I front of you while you wait in line... Now you can mix or match a bag of 6 or dozen. Ok folks a dozen is 12 for you wondering cause I don't wanna have you get into a debate with your ordering host.... Now many years ago there use to me a colorful character who loaded up your bag. His colorful way is preparing the bag was an event. First he opened the bag where it exploded with a pop in grand style... Kicked his leg up like Elvis, flung that bag down and bang opened the bag. Quickly filled the bag with treats and handing them to ya. It was always worth giving him a tip... Somehow I always managed an extra one or two donuts. A most memorable experience of Pike Place lore! I wish he was still serving me donuts but good luck wherever you landed... Well, that's my experience of buying donuts at The Market. I hope you get the same experience as I have through my journey at THE DAILY DOZEN DOUGHNUT !
I'm pretty particular about my donuts, so much so that when I see a donut shop, I'm not immediately tempted. But when I saw the line and took a peek at the freshly fried mini donuts.... And I just happen to have a delicious latte and in my hands already..... It was pretty clear what it was about to happen next. We got in line and we were maybe in line for five minutes, we ordered the assortment half dozen, unfortunately by the time we got to the cash register, the cinnamon and the chocolate glaze with sprinkles and original were all that were left. No powdered donuts for us :( which is really what I thought I was craving. We opted for three of the cinnamon and three of the chocolate glaze with sprinkles. Upon my first bite of the chocolate glaze with sprinkles, I knew I was in trouble. The donut was a cake fresh cloud of deliciousness, and the chocolate glaze was just the right amount to pair with the crunchy sprinkles. I have to say the winner in my eyes was a cinnamon, however. Served hot with that mild crunch at the exterior. WOW. It seems that they sell out of this powder really quickly. I'm gonna try to make it the second they open today.
I don't understand the hype, especially for the Maple bacon, but I like the cinnamon one. Nothing too special though, but I love that's their minis!
My friend craved donuts & this place delivered. There was a line, but it moved rather quickly. We split a half dozen, which came out to be $7.50. The menu isn't the most expansive, but there are different flavors to choose from such as maple bacon, maple, powdered, plain, and cinnamon. They also offer coffee and teas. We got to watch them make fresh donuts as we waited. We ordered two maple bacon and one cinnamon apiece and enjoyed them by the water. They're minis, so they're super easy to eat. You could definitely just snack on them as you explore Pike Place. Our favorite was the maple bacon. They were perfectly sweet and salty, and the cinnamon-covered bacon bits at the bottom of the bag were like a little extra treat lol. We only wished they were warm. They weren't warm at all. Side note: The tip jar made me laugh because it caught me so off guard.
Located in Pike Place Market, the daily dozen doughnut was busy cranking out mini doughnuts for the line at their booth. It's in the middle of the busy market, so it's grab and go. Lots of seating outside the market near the water. The service was incredible and I would give it 5 stars for that alone. It was fun watching them make the doughnuts fresh and the spectacle of throwing the doughnut in the air. Unfortunately, I did not like the doughnut at all. Couldn't even finish the small thing.
LOVE daily dozen! So much so that I have been multiple times on multiple visits to the city. They are so friendly and the donuts are amazing. If you want the very freshest donuts, go for the cinnamon sugar--they take them right off the line and throw them in a bag with plenty of the cinnamon topping. This is a small stall in Pike Place; so find somewhere nearby to sit and enjoy your donuts or snack on them as you explore the Market!
Worth a stop in Pike Place, but probably not worth anything over a 5-10 minute wait at most. Fresh fried little donuts (about the size of two donut holes) with a couple of different styles. They're good because they're coming out piping hot right in front of you, but it's nothing too special in the world of donuts.
Little delicious doughnuts at pike place market! Lots of variety! Service fast! Ambiance is grab n go. Easy to carry and eat while you go and tour the city!
This was a nice surprise, watching the donuts being cooked was a cute surprise. So we waited in line, once we got to the register we got handed hot right out of the frier. They were good, not much flavor except for the toppings they put on. Just a nice soft donut. When we left the line had doubled, I guess this is a tourist attraction I didn't know about. I got lucky on my timing.
Come here if you want a yummy snack. Mini donuts are so cute and just the perfect size. The line can be long, but it goes fast. And while you're in line, you can look at the donut machine assembly line contraption which is so mesmerizing. They have cinnamon sugar, powdered, maple, maple bacon, sprinkle donuts, and plain. You can mix and match and get an assorted variety. I like the cinnamon sugar, the powdered, and the maple. But try them all yourself to see which one you like best! I usually only get a half dozen because I like to snack my way through the market. Enjoy the cute mini donuts! There's a little area right next to the vendor if you wanna eat them right away and they take credit card!
Short line and good people'! All around me are happy folks who come here just for these donuts! Hot grease- lots of colinnon sugar- and hot!

First Time We found this place inside Pike's Place after the glorious smell wafting out around 8:30 AM on Monday morning. We are the typical tourists mesmerized by it all. Try to get a freshly fried donut from the simple assembly line contraption that fries their mini donuts. I got the assortment and all if them were gobbled up within 30 minutes. read more
tl;dr there's a reason why tourists and locals alike will line up around the corner; the hot-as-lava, two-biter donut holes are simple yet addictively decadent On any given day, expect Pike Place to feel more like Disneyland than a normal food hall. And while plenty of vendors are more style than substance, the market is home to plenty of gems. A good bet is to follow the crowds, and few places boast the popularity of Daily Dozen Donut Company. This frill-free donut-ery has been around for nearly 50 years, and plenty of locals will admit it to be a guilty pleasure. Find Daily Dozen on the top floor of the Economy Market building at the southernmost end of Pike Place proper. Push your way through the crowd watching fish-slingers to find the fast-moving line of donut-craving customers. As you wait, you will pass Daily Dozen's signature "donut robot" mechanical conveyor belt, plopping dough balls one-by-one into an oversized ceramic bowl. Staff members shake paper bags of piping hot donuts to the beat of classic rock. My fiancee and I visited Pike Place on a weekend, and Daily Dozen was on our hit list. After a 15-minute wait, we excitedly ordered a half-dozen Cinnamon Donuts and a single Maple Bacon Donut. The ping pong-sized cinnamon-dusted donut holes were piping hot; I burned my mouth in ravenous delight. The light, crispy texture was reminiscent of funnel cake. They far exceeded the frosted, room-temperature maple bacon donut hole. The staff efficiently churned through the line that loops around the corner. A half-dozen sugar donuts retails for $6.50, and the additional maple bacon one was a $1. While the latter wasn't worth the appetite (much less the cost), the bagful of fresh donuts was a simple pleasure that would be worth a visit for any donut-lover. read more

Daily Dozen Doughnut is a small donut stand in Seattle's Pike Place Market that serves some of the freshest, most delicious, mini donuts anywhere in the US. This stand has been here for years and is a must visit anytime you go to the market. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The atmosphere of Daily Dozen Doughnut includes the entire Pike Place Market in Seattle (full of people, tourists, and adventurers). It's situated in the Economy Building, just down the hall from where they throw the fish. There's always a line, but it moves pretty fast. 1 Star. Service - The staff is great. It was a two man crew on my visit, one person manning the orders and the other making the doughnuts fresh. There were about 5 people in line, but I only waited 5 minutes. 1 Star. Food - Daily Dozen Doughnut are known for their fresh mini-donuts (or doughnuts), which you can watch being made right in front of you. Enjoy a variety of flavors including plain, cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar, chocolate frosted with sprinkles, maple, and maple bacon. My favorites are the cinnamon sugar and plain donuts. Be sure you eat your doughnuts immediately. It's best to bite into them when warm. They almost melt in your mouth. The mini size makes them oh so easy to gobble up. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I've eaten the donuts here on every visit to Seattle - usually multiple visits. Not only is it a historic place to visit, it's also pretty darn tasty. See you next time I'm in Seattle. 1 Star. read more

Came and got a few doughnuts at breakfast. Daily Dozen is one of the many places for baked goods in Pike Place Market. It has a pretty limited selection. Just a stall with a counter. They make these fresh so it takes a bit longer. After going through the market in the morning, we got a few of these for friends. It would have been better if I could have had some. They seem to not have any vegan flavors even though the internet says they have these. Oh well, the others said these were good and would have these again. These doughnuts are pretty small, and they look pretty typical but it's all about freshness. For sure a popular place in the morning, because it's busy. It's only got a counter to order at, so you take these to go. They maybe no longer have any of the ones for vegans. read more

Fun stop to watch them make the doughnuts. Fresh, hot and tasty! A place the kids really enjoyed. Get there early because the line gets long, but the line moves quickly and it's worth the wait. We tried the powdered, sprinkle and cinnamon. All were perfect. read more

I saw this place on Pike Place best food top 10, it did not disappoint. There was a line but it went by pretty quick. I ordered the assorted dozen which I chose plain, powdered, and cinnamon. Totaling around $11.00 with a caramel chocolate latte. Good and fresh. Staff was friendly and they are one of the places that accepts cash in the market. Located in a pretty busy spot of the Market , it's plenty going on around to see. You will definitely be entertained . read more
My friend and I stopped by this little stall inside the market. I'm normally not a fan of donuts, but we decided to try them out anyways. I'm so glad we did! Some flavors were premade and some were made fresh. I forget which ones were fresh, but I'd definitely recommend those ones! The other flavors were okay/pretty standard, but the fresh ones were definitely the standout. read more

Absolutely a must to get these doughnuts when I'm in Seattle! They're the best when they're fresh, yummy & soft. I got the assorted half dozen and it was a perfect little taste of everything. Quick and friendly service. Located inside pike place market, small stand popping out doughnuts constantly. Definitely have to give it a try if you haven't! Can't wait to go back. read more

Daily Dozen Doughnuts has AMAZING doughnuts. They're soft, fresh, and packed with flavor. They have a few flavors to choose from but you can't really go wrong with any of them. My favorite was the maple and cinnamon doughnuts with some coffee. They're perfectly bite sized and pack tons of flavor. There was a bit of a line but the wait wasn't too bad and it was entertaining to watch the hustle of pike place while waiting. Overall the worth was worth it and would go back again read more
Walking through Pike Place market, he can smell the amazing donuts so we had to get some. There was a short line and I could see the donuts being made fresh so we got a dozen cinnamon sugar. It was warm, fluffy and very delicious! I love how tiny they are! read more
Fresh and tasty! The line is usually pretty long though so plan to wait a bit. It does move fast and they are very tasty when they're coming fresh out of the machine! It's in the little hallway on the south side of the market from the fish tossing. read more

So... The Daily Dozen Doughnut shop in the Pike's Market was also on my list to visit after watching multiple Youtube videos. After coming here once, I felt a need to come back again. Nothing magical, just delicious mini doughnuts. The shop is in an enclosed area to the left of the fish store (if you're looking at it straight on.) They were perfect after the Mac & Cheese, Clam Chowder, Piroshky and Starbucks. I mean there is never a bad time for a doughnut. (This was over a three day period.) If you get here at the right time the machine right behind the piece of glass is cranking out donuts and cooking them. They wind up on the serving tray either getting sprinkles, powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar. My favorite one wound up being the cinnamon sugar. Never had a big line and it would be worth the wait if it were a bit more than three minutes. I definitely recommend ou come here if you're visiting The Pike Market.
