If you like watching your food be prepared by a street vendor, then this is your place. There were a variety of food options available. It's a convenient location between the pier and my hotel.

    Two Seattle Dogs. Mic drop.

If you know me as well as anyone else, you know I love hot dogs. At a baseball game? We're getting the dollar hot dogs. At Costco or Sam's Club? We have to get a hot dog before leaving. Going to a tailgate? You know who is bringing the hot dogs. Let me say that this place was one of the first places I wanted to visit so badly when I came to Seattle, and I'm so glad I did! Nestled in Downtown Seattle, I found this place easily while walking along the street, and I was soooooooo happy to see it from afar! Easily accessible to the general public, the Dog in the Park is the absolute best and you have to come here. If you don't come here, you don't know what you're doing. There's only one thing I wanted, and that would be the Seattle Dog. Creamy cream cheese, with perfectly sauteed/caramalized onions/vegetables inside a long split hot dog with the hot dog being longer than the bun. That's when you know the hot dog is going to be good. I had to order two of them, and it was soooooooo good. Whatever you doing, stop what you're doing, take a plane over to Seattle, take the link light rail to Westlake, walk a few blocks and go get the Seattle dog. Trust me, it's worth it.

Cute place to see, finally found a permanent place for hotdogs. It was clean the staff was super nice. We ordered a Seattle dog, it was good. Wish it had more cream cheese from what our friends told us, but it was good. Would got try a regular dog and see how it is.

A convenient hot dog stand located near tourist attractions like MoPop, space needle, and chihuly. We tried the Seattle Dog, which comes with cream cheese and caramelized veggies/onions. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The veggies were bland and didn't seem properly caramelized, and the hot dog itself lacked flavor.

Was recommended to try this while I was in Seattle. I did get the Seattle dog. I think it was just that day. What I had was delicious. But it wasn't a traditional Seattle dog. To my knowledge - Seattle dog is split dog , toasted bun, grilled onions and cream cheese. What I was given was - split dog. Toasted bun, cream cheese and pre shredded lettuce cooked with olive oil. It was delicious. But it wasn't exactly what I was expecting.

I've heard about this spot so we decided to check it out while in town. Convenient location outside of the Space Needle and MPOP. Seattle Dog was good but it didn't wow me. Split dog with cream cheese, onions n bell peppers. I added in jalapeños and mustard at the condiment table. Kids got plain hot dog. And said it was fine but nothing to write home about. All hot dogs are $10, which i felt was odd. I imagine a plain hot dog should be cheaper than specialty options. That would be my main concern.

    The Seattle Dog- so good!

Honestly what a find! This definitely gives hot dog cart feels, but it's totally worth it. You walk up and give your order and the chef just gets busy with making yours in addition to all the other orders. The hot dog and all the toppings were delicious and I am so glad we just swung by here for a local dog near the monorail station. It's in downtown and very walkable from the majority of the area. The day we went it was wet, so seating is limited, but we hopped inside the mall and were able to find a seat to enjoy our quick bite. Highly recommend!

Exploring Westlake for shopping around lunch and saw a few food trucks and then permanent spot for Dog in the Park. Employee took several peoples order and said he would bring out the food when ready but then ended up calling out orders as he hadn't taken names. Dogs are a couple inches longer than the bun and split/cut and grilled. My preference is for it not to be split but it seems a pretty popular method around this area. $8 for a basic hot dog with no toppings seems a little high as well as $14 for basic dog, chips, drink as I know other dog carts that run $5 for a dog. Can sit at tables around the park if available.

It's alright. I was looking for a quick bite and wanted to try the Seattle Dog. I was expecting more cream cheese on it as I know that was an important ingredient in it. The service was fast though and the stand is right outside the convention center in a wall. The hotdog was alright, the cream cheese taste was really subtle. I was expecting something more flavorful. The grilled veggies in it were good though! It was $10 for this. I would try it again at a different stand.

Ima be honest this was the best hot dog I've had in a long long time it was fresh cooked perfectly and all the flavors wer there. It was simple but it packed a punch. Definitely a must if u are in Seattle. Great location a lot of seating and good vibes from guy that was working.

It's been 7 years since I have eaten a Seattle Dog - hot dog with cream cheese and grilled vegetables (though I recall it's usually grilled onions). This place is situated in Westlake Park which is conveniently located with respect to public transit (bus, light rail, monorail). For $9+tax, you get a fairly decent sized hot dog that is a nice filling snack or a light meal. I didn't like this one as much as the time I had it somewhere else many years ago. Maybe it's the grilled vegetables as opposed to grilled onions so it wasn't as flavorful. Even with that, I didn't taste as much cream cheese either - they gave a fairly small amount in the hot dog so it tasted more like a regular hot dog with some grilled vegetables so the hot dog itself was the most prominent flavor with barely subtle notes of other ingredients. Not less than 4 stars since the hot dog itself is pretty delicious if you don't consider it a Seattle Dog.

    THEE best Seattle dog.

Everything about this place was fricken AMAZING. We were super hungry after leaving the MoPop museum and came across this hot doggy stand. We took it upon ourselves to try a Seattle Dog--BEST DECISION EVER! The service was fantastic! Definitely a nice place to go and grab a quick bite to eat while enjoying the vibes around you. ( I still think about this hotdog to this very day..)

The first three order, then we ask for two polish dogs, one with no relish just onions, and the two guys get really defensive, and start mansplaining that we're ordering incorrectly, we should order a NAKED dog. Hands us one dog with no onions, and we say we want onions, and they go "Bro I should just be SERVING not EXPLAINING" and we're like ??? Whatever. One dog down, meat and onions only. Next one, we ask for one regular polish dog and they start yelling about a Seattle dog vs a Naked dog and we have to be clearer if we wanted cream cheese and they complain some more to us not knowing how to order and when was it ever this difficult to just order a $6 hot dog on a late Saturday night!?!? Not everyone likes cream cheese on their freaking hot dogs or knows the proper hot dog terminology we just want food!!! JFC.... Needless to say, there doesn't seem to be anything particularly special about this one hot dog stand, out of the dozens within a square mile in Capitol Hill. Do yourself a favor and avoid getting lectured in how to properly order a hot dog and go get the same exact thing from any of the other stands, since they pretty much taste the same.

Then outside the Clink after a game. It was an elusive Seattle street food treat- and in a lot of ways still is. They've expanded in recent years so sometimes you can find them at Microsoft campuses on occasion too. But I'll let you in on a little secret... they have a deal with the Thunderbird Tavern in Ballard. So if you're craving a Seattle Dog on a random Tuesday at 8:30pm for example... high tail it to the Thunderbird and get you one! Especially on a warm Summer evening: a Seattle dog with extra slaw, a glass of your favorite cold drink and a spot on the back patio - doesn't that sound so good right now?! Another favorite with Secret Sausage is The Firlander Sauce. While I personally am not a big fan of hot sauce, this spicy condiment has been a staple in our family for several years now.
