This means the cream cheese, mustard, and slaw didn't come rolling out the back of the bun.

I'm picky about which sauces I like, and there was no description of the Caity sauce, which is why I requested it on the side. I absolutely hated it. I tried to scrape it off, but I could only get so much, and it basically ruined the entire hot dog for me. There was a lot of it on the jalapenos, so I had to take all of them off, and I didn't get to eat them. I probably should have had them make it again, but it already took over 20 minutes to come out the first time, and the friend I was with was getting impatient. The grilled peppers and onions didn't really have any flavor. The bread was okay. The hot dog itself was actually really good. I also got the cheese empanadas, and those were nice and crispy on the outside, with good cheese inside. Still, I don't think there's enough here worth coming back for, even if they did get my order right next time. I'm better off at a real street dog vendor.

my #1 top pick for seattle dogs. rain or shine, drunk or sober, i will walk miles for this dog…read more have been doing such for years now. only place i'll go for the dog. to each their own when it comes to how you like your dog done up, but they never disappoint. they've got all the good toppings, which i sincerely appreciate, and the quality is always consistent. personally, i do the hot link seattle style and whatever i end up putting on there, i always add some extra jalapeños on top for the walk home. even if you choose to wait and partake at home, they're the only dogs i know that can last the journey home without falling apart or getting soggy. built 2 last. regarding the service, it's been the same guys out there every weekend since i've been going. they're always nothing but real good energy and super funny. plus they always have the good music playing, which is nice for when the clubs let out and you find yourself posted up in that line. even then, the guys have their system down to a T. so even at their busiest time of the night, the wait is never too painful. whenever people ask me where to go for the best seattle dog, there is only one place i direct them to that hits all the marks, and that's the hot dog stand by chop suey. i feel like it wouldn't be a complete night out in seattle without them. literal legends

First off, the only sign they have is three photos of a polish dog, hot link, or vegan dog all with relish and onions. The first three order, then we ask for two polish dogs, one with no relish just onions, and the two guys get really defensive, and start mansplaining that we're ordering incorrectly, we should order a NAKED dog. Hands us one dog with no onions, and we say we want onions, and they go "Bro I should just be SERVING not EXPLAINING" and we're like ??? Whatever. One dog down, meat and onions only. Next one, we ask for one regular polish dog and they start yelling about a Seattle dog vs a Naked dog and we have to be clearer if we wanted cream cheese and they complain some more to us not knowing how to order and when was it ever this difficult to just order a $6 hot dog on a late Saturday night!?!? Not everyone likes cream cheese on their freaking hot dogs or knows the proper hot dog terminology we just want food!!! JFC.... Needless to say, there doesn't seem to be anything particularly special about this one hot dog stand, out of the dozens within a square mile in Capitol Hill. Do yourself a favor and avoid getting lectured in how to properly order a hot dog and go get the same exact thing from any of the other stands, since they pretty much taste the same.

When I kindly asked for no cabbage and only onions the guy said "okay" only to turn around and give me a hot dog covered in cabbage. A Seattle dog is a quintessential food item while visiting Seattle. I am happy to say the Dog In The Park Seattle Dog lived up to my expectations. A crispy grilled dog, cream cheese, and plenty of grilled veggies. There are loads of toppings to choose from, too, but the young man serving up the dogs recommended just plain for the first time to really get the classic experience. I think some light mustard and maybe some saurkraut would have been a great addition. Friendly service and good recommendations for a first-timer, though. This location is located not too far from Pike Place and Westlake station. Convenient location. The price is great too! Go enjoy a Dog In The Park!

It was pretty quick service and price are sooo much more reasonable than other food trucks nearby. The line was long but it moved pretty quickly. The portion might look small but it was hefty. Honestly this place is great for a small snack anyway. We got the bhel puri (not pictured) and a lamb kebab roll. It was my first time ever having bhel puri and I liked it! I enjoyed nibbling on the rice puffs but found that I needed a protein or else I would get flavor fatigue. We ended up placing a second order for the lamb kebab roll, which was AMAZING. Lamb is already my favorite protein so I knew I was going to like it, but I didn't expect it to be so good. It was very well seasoned and even a little juicy. I wouldn't say I have a small appetite, but I found this one roll to be a perfect portion for lunch. Service: (5/5) It's a very casual spot so you order at the counter and bus everything yourself. They're very nice, no other notes needed!
