Love the Seattle dog! Grilled veggies with cream cheese on a hot dog - yum! There are also plenty of other condiments, too. This location is right by the Space Needle and Pop Culture Museum. The guys are friendly and fast. How do I know it's good? My picky eater (daughter) liked it and wants us to make them at home.

After exploring the MPOP, also known as the Pop Culture Museum, Dad and I were in need of some fuel to get through Chihuily next. We have passed by this Hot Dog stand every time we walked through here and it always looked and smelled so good. @dogintheparkseattle We got the Chicago dogs and the guy was so nice! He bragged that it was the best hotdog here and I have to say, while we haven't had any other hotdogs in Seattle, it was the best so far.

$10 for a Seattle hot dog which you just have to get. The buns are smeared with cream cheese and grilled veggies. It was good especially after visiting the local sites in the area.

Tried the Seattle Dog after reading the reviews and it didn't disappoint. The dog was big and juicy and great quality. I added jalapeños which brought some nice heat and acidity. The service was friendly and the ambiance was of a hot dog stand in a park. No frills, but good dogs.

Reading the other reviews for this stand has left me wondering what I missed. This tasted like a CostCo hot dog on an average bun, with average tasting cream cheese and vegetables. It wasn't inedible, just that there was nothing remarkable about it whatsoever.

Just wanted a quick snack before dinner so we split a Veggie Chipotle Dog ($8) between friends. It's basically a Seattle Dog with a veggie dog instead of the regular hot dog, so we still basically got to experience the Seattle dog. There was basically one guy taking orders and another guy making them so by the time we finished paying they were already handing our dog over to us. The dog itself was pretty good! Personally I'm not a big fan of cream cheese, but it did add a sort of sweetness to it, which balances out the spiciness in the veggie chipotle dog. They had a very wide assortment of condiments on the side of the stand that you could add yourself. I added my usual topping preferences (ketchup, mustard, relish, onions) and it definitely added more flavor to it. What was a bit off putting though is that some of the condiments that probably should be refrigerated (like the mayonnaise) were sitting out in the hot summer sun all day. I think it's a bit steep for $8 a dog for basically 2 toppings since the roasted veggies are all in one pan. Other than that though I'm glad I got to try a Seattle dog for my visit to Seattle. Definitely a touristy thing.

Located near the Space Needle around the Seattle Center. I walk around a few times and I know it's a tourist trap but I'm okay with it. It can get busy but the service is fast. I had to try the Seattle dog, glad they had a veggie dog option! The Seattle dog has cream cheese, grilled carmelized veggies and the hot dog on a toasted bun. I think they had more than the standard condiments available (ketchup, mustard, Mayo, relish, jalapeños, Valentina, onion, I think sauerkraut too?, can't remember, lol) but you can tell they just want the customer to be happy with all those options of condiments , lol. I grabbed a seat at a picnic table nearby and loved the Seattle dog. It was hot, toasty and filling! I love cream cheese so I really enjoyed this combo of the Seattle dog. I added my own condiments too, ketchup, mustard, onions, relish and jalapeños... yum! Not sure if it's a tourist treat or local favorite, but I sure enjoyed it!

Hot dogs will always be our go to when visiting places, you could never go wrong! Ordering was quick & easy, food was great. They also have condiments on the side of their stand to add on

Seattle Dog ($8) Cream cheese and Caramelized Veggies (cabbage, onions and peppers) on a toasted bun

High on the Dog There are as many unique ways to eat a hot dog as there are cities in this country. Some of the more well-known styles would have to be the kitchen sink Chicago Dog made famous by Portillo's, as well as the classic NY-style of serving it up simpley with shot or three of yellow mustard. Here in NorCal, we like bacon-wrapped dogs with avocado, while SoCal lays claim to the loaded foot-long Dodger (Doyer) Dog. But have you ever heard of a Seattle Dog? To be honest, we hadn't until we were doing some research on things to eat whilst visiting Seattle and came across this curiosity. It's essentially a hot dog w/ a cream cheese slathered bun that's topped with grilled caramelized veggies (onions, peppers and cabbage). While many places serve-up their own version of the Seattle Dog, Dog in the Park (DiP) lays claim to actually creating this heavenly concoction of mystery meat, veg and cheese. So, you may find yourself wondering if it's worth trying while visiting the Emerald City™? The simple answer is, hell yes. The made-to-order dogs are delicious, juicy and the right ratio of bun:dog:veg:cheese. My only complaint is that I would've loved some jalapeños in the veggie mix, but that's just the Cali boy in me talking. My other complaint is $8/dog is a bit steep, but these are tourist prices, plus Costco® has really messed up the hot dog market with their $1.50 dogs. So, just relax and cough up the dough--I promise you'll love it. DiP has two convenient locations, with one in Downtown Seattle at Westlake Park, and this one here right below the Space Needle©. Def give this unique dog a try when visiting the PNW. ^__^ (OvO) {| |} ---"--"---

A Seattle dog is a quintessential food item while visiting Seattle. I am happy to say the Dog In The Park Seattle Dog lived up to my expectations. A crispy grilled dog, cream cheese, and plenty of grilled veggies. There are loads of toppings to choose from, too, but the young man serving up the dogs recommended just plain for the first time to really get the classic experience. This was during Sakura Con, and for being one of several food stands occupying real estate around the Seattle Convention Center Arch Building, it gets a ton of traction. Big props to the lone server and cook who was taking orders back and forth from my friends and I and others who rushed to grab some food; he was cooking, taking payments and answering questions all throughout the time we were there. No seating or restrooms available here as it's outside. They were also out of vegan hot dogs, which didn't sit too well with one of my friends. For the Seattle Dog, it's a regular hot dog with caramelized vegetables in a somewhat lightly crispy bun and topped with some cream cheese. Hot dog was so good, vegetables added an extra savory tone that complimented the hot dog, and bun was so tasty I could have asked for another Seattle Dog, though each totals up to $10 before tax, which sounds pretty pricey for a hot dog. Regardless I would still come back here during conventions if I don't want to have anything inside the convention center itself.
