Chicken Valley is in the heart of Pike Place Market and has a variety of fast fried foods available. It's a great place to grab a snack while you're shopping in the Market. The fried chicken is tasty and should be enjoyed hot and fresh.

If you like your food fried, come here. Located in the Pikes Place Market, food stand near the fish market where they sometimes toss fish. Can get a little crowded due to being a tourist stop. Service is straightforward. We had the honey seseme chicken stick, and while being a bit bready, the chicken was juicy and tender and tasted really good. We also got some chicken hearts, which was a nice snack.

Deep fried chicken giblets! Yum!

Walking I honestly did not plan on it but seeing that they served up fried gizzards, livers AND hearts! I just couldn't resist. Breaded and fried to perfection I got a half a pound of each and proceeded to cruise around the market snacking and enjoying my fried chicken giblets. OMG t'was soooo good. I wish I lived closer because I would be eating there all the time. Unfortunately I didn't try the chicken meat but if it is the same quality as the hearts, gizzards and liver I would guess it is awesome! And believe me I love fried chicken. Service was fast and friendly and with the hustle and bustle of the market the whole experience was the perfect Seattle experience. Just make sure to grab extra napkins and don't rest your snack bags on your lap. Because just like a good bag of Dick's cheeseburgers and fries anticipate grease.

Good place for fried food and some specialty things - like chicken hearts! Grew up eating chicken hearts so this was a fun find. Also tried the honey sesame chicken stick. It's a little bready, but there are good pieces of chicken, too. Looked like some locals were there to get food, too.

Walked by this place captivated by the novelties in the glass case, which led to a huge disappointment. We got the gizzards and it was not edible. The gizzards were not crispy AND overly chewy. The batter was soggy af, which made the entire thing unappetizing. The 55 cents sauce that they charge would not save the flavor of this item. I would avoid at all cost. Please don't be fooled like I was. Just keep walking, no need to waste your money.

While walking through Pikes Market trying various food serving establishments, my brother spotted this place. While he was looking at the chicken offerings, I spotted a side cabinet that had deep fried chicken gizzards, livers, and hearts. My brother and I we love these things, so we got a combo order of all three. After devouring the combo order we ordered another pound of gizzards and hearts. We both agreed that these were some of the best food we tried during our entire 5 day trip in Seattle. Perfectly cooked and the batter reminded me of a KFC-like flavor. We loved them so much that we came back the next day to get more! My brother tried a chicken stick and said it wasn't too good. My recommendation is to not even waste your time on anything else they offer, just stick to the hearts, gizzards, and liver. They would rank as some of the best I've ever tried, only at a couple of places in the Midwest have I ever had better gizzards.

Tried the orange chicken stick while snacking at pike place market. It was about $6 after tax and I will say it was a pretty big portion. Nothing stood out really, it tasted like the Chinese dish just on a stick. More sweet and sour vibe than anything. It's cheap and would certainly fill you up but I ended up pitching it after a few bites. Service was quick though and they have gizzards, hearts, livers etc. if that is what you are looking for.

HUGE tempura shrimp!

As we were walking around the market, we started to get hangry and made a decision to eat here. Not our best decision of the day. We were drawn in by the crowd (we thought it was popular) and the view - they have very large shrimp in a warmed case and a second case displaying chicken, etc. Prices were reasonable - $7 for 5 huge shrimp. Hubby and I decided to share the tempura shrimp and a large water bottle. Reason for low stars is: line took FOREVER, there is no sense of urgency here; employee seemed indifferent to help us like she was just checking off boxes - no greeting, no smiles; the shrimp ended up not being hot - it was room temperature. There are too many other vendors with amazing food at the market to be spending money here for mediocre food.

Just a fried food stand, mostly chicken parts and other fried goodies like churros, fries, and some seafood. Like everything else in pikes market its overpriced, guess rent is high here. 1 piece of fried chicken thigh is $3, which btw is the cheapest thing you could probably buy in the market. I don't mind spending $3 on a piece of chicken if its really good and fried fresh to order, but these are sitting under a heat lamp and nothing special. Nothing bad about them just nothing remarkable. Perhaps there is something else on the menu that is much better but it is called Chicken valley, so my assumption is that chicken is their speciality. If you're looking for a quick cheap bite, this place is probably cheapest you'll find in the market. There is also mustard, ketchup and salt in a little stand around the corner for your fries and whatnot.

Walking by, the delicious scent drew us in. We couldn't decide on the spicy chicken skewer or the sesame honey chicken skewer and we ended up going with the latter. It was juicy and flavorful. Reminded me of orange chicken, so if you like that then you'll enjoy this. Great on the go snack. It's a small, modest fried-food joint.

Loyal Heights, Ballard, Phinney Ridge

this sandwich was highly impressive as the main part of the…read moresandwich, it was pretty necessary that the pork be cooked to near-perfection, and i have to say it was here it gave off a deep, brown-ish color, which showed the extent of it's cooking and marination. It wasn't quite incredibly tender, but the marinade added an absolute ton of flavor. more importantly, it was present plentifully throughout the sandwich, so practically every bite came filled with pork I also have to mention how packed together the ingredients are between the buns. when you start eating, it's inevitable that a quarter of the ingredients will fall onto the wrap below, leaving a nice secondary meal to finish off after the sandwich is done. the sandwich is packed incredibly tight during the wrapping process, but it unravels a bit while eating. for me, the major highlights of this meal was the onions and the aioli Starting with the onions, these may be the best I've ever had on a sandwich. They're caramelized amazingly, placed onto the sandwich in astoundingly large pieces, are crunchy, and there's just a lot of them. They're just wonderful both texturally and taste-wise. This sandwich is absolutely lathered with aioli - practically dripping with it. This boosted the overall flavor so much, especially because this aioli was addictingly good. In my experience, the amount of sauce has been directly proportional to how much I enjoyed a sandwich, and when the sauce is this good - it's even on the top of the bun! - i absolutely loved it Somehow the lettuce stayed crunchy despite all the otherwise wetness going on in the sandwich. Props for that The jalapenos were great as well for that extra bit of spicy - I would've loved to have more of them while the bread was toasted well, the one downside was i thought it was pretty hard and tough, which made chewing kind of difficult. I found my jaw to be pretty tired at the end after eating this. I would've much preferred a softer roll that's easier to bite into I've had similar sandwiches from Paseo and Bongos, and in my opinion this does edge out both of those Comparing to Paseo, the sandwich there has way more oil, making it more sloppy and I do like the bread there a lot better, but the pork feels richer and better marinated here (although less fatty), and the onions are definitely caramelized better here as well. Bongos has a pretty similar level of pork with more, but onions are definitely a step down What moves this place above those two for me is the amount of aioli used here far exceeds those other places, which just makes the overall eating experience better For the price (about 14 dollars) this is a really filling meal

They double wrap the sandwich in foil and butcher paper and if you include the paper bag it comes in, you have a triple wrapped mound of yumminess! The steak is chopped finely and the Wiz is oozing all over the sandwich. They cook it to order so it is piping hot when you open it and it smells wonderful. The bun surrounds the contents pretty well but as with this type of sandwich it can get messy quickly. Definitely use caution. Toppings were fresh and the special sauce is pretty good. The onion rings were amazing! I can see what the fuss is about. It's a thick, crunchy coating that absorbs the umami and onion aroma from big, juicy onion rings and a light dusting of peppery kick. They stayed crispy over the course of an hour too. The restaurant itself leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm not asking too much. I believe the owner said he was trying to revamp the place. I hope that the area comes alive in the future years, that should help. Here's the issue though, this is the slowest spot ever. I've waited 30 minutes for fries - FRIES. I don't mind waiting for food, but it should remain reasonable. There were only two or three people working, and one man did tell us this, but I need to be honest - this was on Super Bowl Sunday. No one was able to get anyone a beer from the tap for 40 minutes, the food took forever and it appeared that online orders were being prioritized (which makes sense, you make as you get orders coming in, but that puts your in person customers in an odd and sometimes frustrating position). To be honest, I probably wouldn't have minded as much if I just had some fries to snack on. I didn't mind as much this one time because I was just happy to find a place to watch the Super Bowl Half Time show, but other days, it's a little hard to look past. I wish this business the best, I live too close to not hope for its improvement! Looking forward to updating my review. At the end of the day, if you're hungry, it's late, this is your spot.
