Don't judge. I had already started biting into it =) if it's not a little messy, I don't trust it - cheese everywhere makes it delicious!!

I've been going to Calozzis since they were on 4th Ave downtown Seattle. To me they are one of the best cheesesteak places in town. The portion is generous, packed with meat and the bread holds firm while still being soft. Order a regular cheesesteak with the fried onions, cheese wiz and add provolone. You're welcome!

My husband said he really enjoyed his sandwich. The bread was perfect which for me is really important for a sandwich! I don't eat meat so I wasn't able to try one. FYI ** you can't order a sandwich with no Meat. I love good bread and cheese w/veggies. Ordering a sandwich with no Meat is Not An Option for some weird reason but I respect it'. We just happened to pass by on our way from the Museum of Flight. Definitely worth checking out. They had 3 tables for outdoor seating. No inside seating.

Mushroom Steak

As a Philly native, have been wanting to check this place out for a while. Their limited hours have made it hard, but was it worth the wait. We both ordered the mushroom steak with onion & provolone. Brought them over to Georgetown Brewing Company less than a mile away. My partner immediately goes "it smells like Delco." Best steak I've had in the PNW. Even the rolls taste like something from back home! We will be back, I know they will taste even better with a Birds win! Fly Eagles Fly!

Pepper cheesesteak

I was looking for a quick bite and found this place. I got the pepper cheesesteak. Overall, I thought it was good. It could use a little bit more flavor or seasoning but can't complain too much. It was a big sandwich and the meat was still tender. The pickled peppers were good to eat with the cheesesteak!

The cheesesteak with onions and wiz.

Solid cheesesteak in south Seattle. Small building selling fresh sandwiches. The bread is chewy and crispy - ideal for a steak and cheese. The meat is cut thin and grilled well. The onions were sweet and the peppers cut small. The cheese wiz brings it all together (their white American is also good). Order at the north end window and pick up at the south. Drink a coke while you wait - I've never waited more than 10 mins. All around a tasty cheesesteak. Highly recommended.

Don't really remember seeing this little place, but today, I am glad we did! Grabbed a late lunch today while stomping around Georgetown - me with the pepper steak and my partner with the cheesesteak. The meat is delicious- the sandwiches were juicy, cheesy and beefy- just how you want them to be! Service was quick and since we were looking for the grab-n-go, the walkup window worked out great.

Great sandwich. Make sure you get enough cheese. Also get white American cheese. It's so much greater than provolone.

I'd heard they were good, but holy smokes, I didn't realize they would be *that* good. Here are my recommendations: - Get the Tatstrami. Its combination of flavors is so freaking good. - Order online and then sweep in and pick it up. Since the place does most of its business during lunchtime, there's always a line and this is a way to skip that. If you want to venture beyond a pastrami sandwich, I highly recommend the chicken cheesesteak. While I normally opt for beef when it comes to cheesesteaks, Tat's actually isn't amazing but their chicken one is. So get that instead. In short, this is tied with Dingfelders for the best sandwich in Seattle. Pay it a visit and bring your appetite.

The sandwich was great. Hot, fresh, flavorful (quite spicy - but I like it), moist, and large - about enough for 2 people. Packed with meat, cheese. onions, and peppers. I'd order here often if I lived in Seattle. The zucchini fries however were not good, especially for $12. Very bready, the slices of zucchini were too skinny, and portion size was kind of small. It was only good because it was hot and fried. But the zucchini itself had a strange flavor..kind of fishy? I would not recommend these, maybe just stick to fries but everything else was good. Sandwich - 5/5 Zucchini Fries - 2/5 I ordered online, which was fairly simple, and you pick up from a side door of the building to the kitchen in the parking lot (left side), you do not have to go inside. Pick-up service was friendly. Overall excellent sandwiches!

Love when local events like that put local spots on my horizon, because I'm definitely going to be making a point to hit up their brick and mortar soon. We tried their $5 Taste at the event which was a $5 loaded salad. It was essentially their classic Philly toppings on top of a bed of romaine, and served with buttermilk ranch on the side. Y'ALL! This was one of my top bites of the day, hands down. I tried the salad without any dressing to really get a taste for their Philly fixings, and it was SOOO GOOD. 10/10! After a few bites without the ranch we added a little bit, and it went so well with it. When I visit I'm not even sure I'll be able to get a sandwich because this salad was so dang good and I'm happy to see they have a full size option on their menu. Tonight, they were at Hell Bent in Lake City. We love that this is a regular spot for them these days because it is the easiest location for us to get to on their schedule. My go-to is either the Chicken Philly or the Turkey Tatstrami since I don't eat red meat. Tonight it was the Turkey Tatstrami. My husband and son always go and pick up the sandwiches. The folks working the truck are so kind and *always* remember them. There's something to be said about being a regular and having a friendly rapport with these cool people. They are often super busy but recognize my family every time. :) There were a lot of people waiting for their food when we got there, but the line to order was short. Everyone was patient - they knew dinner was going to be good! These sandwiches are not for everyone. If you don't like ones that get really messy and require several napkins, this isn't for you. Well, at least the sandwiches that I always order, anyway. What I love: - the super friendly staff, always upbeat and welcoming - the crazy delicious sandwiches, wrapped in white paper (I just love when sandwiches are wrapped in white paper) - their steak sauce. You have to ask for it if you're not getting a cheesesteak sandwich. I always get some. It's tangy and zippy and goes great with their food What could be better: - it's not their fault but parking is sometimes challenging in that area. There is an old ad campaign for an infamous fast food chain that featured celebrities biting into their burgers and having the sauce drip onto them. Tat's sandwiches make you feel like you're actually in one of those commercials, loving every moment as the sauce drizzles down your chin. The bread on both sandwiches is perfect. Toothsome with a cornmeal dusting but moist and gentle against the sandwich fillings. The pastrami is fragrant and tender, and its amped up by its accompaniment of crisp cabbage slaw. The cheesesteak is so juicy, and the cheese is complementary to the steak but doesn't steal the show. As you can see, Tat's sandwiches are incredibly generous with the meat, as well! Pro tip: if you happen to have a bag of French onion Sun chips lying around, eat them with the pastrami. It's symphonic. It's worth mentioning that their staff is super friendly and helpful, too!
