Great place for veggie Seattle dogs! Kind of hard to figure out how to actually pick up your order though.

You order at the window on North side of the shop and pickup at the window on the South side of the shop. There used to be limited indoor seating but that is no more. There are, however, a couple of outdoor picnic tables which is better than nothing. Definitely a take out place. I had the original with Cheese Wiz. They double wrap the sandwich in foil and butcher paper and if you include the paper bag it comes in, you have a triple wrapped mound of yumminess! The steak is chopped finely and the Wiz is oozing all over the sandwich. They cook it to order so it is piping hot when you open it and it smells wonderful. The bun surrounds the contents pretty well but as with this type of sandwich it can get messy quickly. Definitely use caution. Always a crowd here and everyone looks happy with anticipation of the arrival of their coveted cheesesteak (especially me!). Give this place a try and you won't be sorry.

The ambiance is just quick and easy to go food. Make sure to get their secret item menu! We got their Big Ben. The cheesesteak was not only humongous, but it was packed full of flavor. Every bite was super cheesy and meaty. It was absolutely delicious. I could only eat half of it and save the other half for the next day. Honestly, it tasted better when you toast it in the air fryer to get that crispy bun. Otherwise the buns were soggy. Highly recommend trying this place!

I'd heard they were good, but holy smokes, I didn't realize they would be *that* good. Here are my recommendations: - Get the Tatstrami. Its combination of flavors is so freaking good. - Order online and then sweep in and pick it up. Since the place does most of its business during lunchtime, there's always a line and this is a way to skip that. If you want to venture beyond a pastrami sandwich, I highly recommend the chicken cheesesteak. While I normally opt for beef when it comes to cheesesteaks, Tat's actually isn't amazing but their chicken one is. So get that instead. In short, this is tied with Dingfelders for the best sandwich in Seattle. Pay it a visit and bring your appetite.

We ordered the Pepper to share and it was an appropriate amount of meat, cheese and peppers placed in a toasty bun. We also ordered a side of tots, which were outstandingly crispy. Bonus: We went down to Shilshole to enjoy our cheesesteak and tots while watching the sunset. Good food and views!

The sandwich was great. Hot, fresh, flavorful (quite spicy - but I like it), moist, and large - about enough for 2 people. Packed with meat, cheese. onions, and peppers. I'd order here often if I lived in Seattle. The zucchini fries however were not good, especially for $12. Very bready, the slices of zucchini were too skinny, and portion size was kind of small. It was only good because it was hot and fried. But the zucchini itself had a strange flavor..kind of fishy? I would not recommend these, maybe just stick to fries but everything else was good. Sandwich - 5/5 Zucchini Fries - 2/5 I ordered online, which was fairly simple, and you pick up from a side door of the building to the kitchen in the parking lot (left side), you do not have to go inside. Pick-up service was friendly. Overall excellent sandwiches!

Love when local events like that put local spots on my horizon, because I'm definitely going to be making a point to hit up their brick and mortar soon. We tried their $5 Taste at the event which was a $5 loaded salad. It was essentially their classic Philly toppings on top of a bed of romaine, and served with buttermilk ranch on the side. Y'ALL! This was one of my top bites of the day, hands down. I tried the salad without any dressing to really get a taste for their Philly fixings, and it was SOOO GOOD. 10/10! After a few bites without the ranch we added a little bit, and it went so well with it. When I visit I'm not even sure I'll be able to get a sandwich because this salad was so dang good and I'm happy to see they have a full size option on their menu. On top of that the service was awesome. The guys working the truck were super personable and nice. Can't wait to visit in person for the full experience!

The sandwich was delicious, and you can tell they focus on the details that matter. For a great cheesesteak, it all starts with high-quality bread, and they absolutely nailed that. The roll was fresh, soft, and held everything together perfectly. Combine that with well-seasoned meat and the right balance of ingredients, and it makes for a fantastic sandwich. I love a classic cheesesteak so my typical order is the Philly Cheesesteak with onion, pepper, and mushroom. Belly Buster - The staff said it's about 2 oz more meat. I've seen some comments that there's no really a difference between belly buster and regular, but after having over a dozen of these I will say that it may not look different, but it's noticeable while eating. There's much less bread feeling every mouthful with the belly buster and tastes a bit more salty and flavorful. Philly Cheesesteak w/ onion, pepper, mushroom - Bread is soft and warm. Steak with onion, pepper, and mushroom is piping hot with cheese melted on top. Garlic Fries - Crispy and well seasoned with a moderate amount of garlic Fried jalapenos - You get 3, they're great if you love jalapenos. I have a reasonable spicy tolerance, but i thought they were a bit too spicy by themselves. Maybe adding them into the sandwich would be better. This location is open pretty late. My old complaint is that they aren't open in Sundays. The place is always really clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Tonight, they were at Hell Bent in Lake City. We love that this is a regular spot for them these days because it is the easiest location for us to get to on their schedule. The folks working the truck are so kind and *always* remember them. There's something to be said about being a regular and having a friendly rapport with these cool people. They are often super busy but recognize my family every time. :) There were a lot of people waiting for their food when we got there, but the line to order was short. Everyone was patient - they knew dinner was going to be good! These sandwiches are not for everyone. If you don't like ones that get really messy and require several napkins, this isn't for you. Well, at least the sandwiches that I always order, anyway. What I love: - the super friendly staff, always upbeat and welcoming - the crazy delicious sandwiches, wrapped in white paper (I just love when sandwiches are wrapped in white paper) - their steak sauce. It's tangy and zippy and goes great with their food What could be better: - it's not their fault but parking is sometimes challenging in that area. There is an old ad campaign for an infamous fast food chain that featured celebrities biting into their burgers and having the sauce drip onto them. Tat's sandwiches make you feel like you're actually in one of those commercials, loving every moment as the sauce drizzles down your chin. The bread on both sandwiches is perfect. Toothsome with a cornmeal dusting but moist and gentle against the sandwich fillings. The pastrami is fragrant and tender, and its amped up by its accompaniment of crisp cabbage slaw. The cheesesteak is so juicy, and the cheese is complementary to the steak but doesn't steal the show. As you can see, Tat's sandwiches are incredibly generous with the meat, as well! Pro tip: if you happen to have a bag of French onion Sun chips lying around, eat them with the pastrami. It's symphonic. It's worth mentioning that their staff is super friendly and helpful, too! I cannot wait to find Tat's again in the wild!
