We came across Monster Dogs and were immediately hooked by the smell. We ordered 2 Beef Polish Sausages Seattle Style ($6 each). What makes it a Seattle Dog is the onions and cream cheese. Who knew that would be great on a hotdog!? For the first one, we got most of the condiments on it including cream cheese, relish, sauerkraut, ketchup, mustard, mayo, and BBQ sauce. We opted to not get the jalapeños or Sriracha. For the second one, we kept it simple and just got the cream cheese, relish, and sauerkraut. For $6, it was so worth! Came here before we went bar hopping on a Saturday night. $5 gets you a loaded hot dog on Capitol Hill. The actual hot dog is grilled and juicy. The bun is nice and chewy and compliments the dog well. You can choose to add jalapeños, relish, and other condiments. This is a food cart and is open late so it's perfect if you are out and about gallivanting around in Capitol Hill in the later evening. They have several hot dog options including a vegan one. In their defense, for me - it's hard to measure up to a Chicago dog. This hot dog had onions and cream cheese. While it was unique and I certainly ate most of it, I definitely couldn't finish it. We were within the unfortunate few (and by few I mean like hundreds) of people who stayed out until the bars and clubs closed.
