It may have been the Seattle dog, bottle of water, and 8 cinnamon sugar donuts I ate prior, but I did not like Marv's Reuben dog at all. Reuben Dog: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/XEFCBh3coReWpnWDNoXyuw?select=3h-bynn5dTdgUeIKBCIBzw Definitely one of those things that sound great on paper, but didn't really pan out great. The cheese really killed it, along with the dry pastrami. If you want to make a Reuben sandwich and convert it into a hot dog, you need to have the Russian dressing or thousand island and not to mention sauerkraut. Forgot how much this was, but I know it didn't come with a drink. my friend got the cheese nachos which were a joke.

Getting a hotdog outside the stadium (Safeco or Centurylink) before any game is mandatory...it's tradition. If you haven't been, Marv's serves up some creative and satsifying options -- from the Starvin' Marvin' dog, the Chicago Dog, to a Southwest dog with guacamole and sour cream. You think it, and they've probably got it. Service is quick and to the point, the food comes out piping hot, and you always leave feeling full and happy. Stop by, you won't regret it!

Best hot dog I've had since the east coast. A real kosher snap hot dog. Delicious.

A Seattle dog is a quintessential food item while visiting Seattle. I am happy to say the Dog In The Park Seattle Dog lived up to my expectations. A crispy grilled dog, cream cheese, and plenty of grilled veggies. There are loads of toppings to choose from, too, but the young man serving up the dogs recommended just plain for the first time to really get the classic experience. I think some light mustard and maybe some saurkraut would have been a great addition. Friendly service and good recommendations for a first-timer, though. This location is located not too far from Pike Place and Westlake station. Convenient location. The price is great too! Go enjoy a Dog In The Park!

The line was kind of long, but we were attended to shortly. I had to try the infamous Seattle dog! It had a fresh bun and the bun had one side with cream cheese! I couldnt really taste the cream cheese because of the flavor of the hot dog plus the toppings, so i would have liked a little more schmear. The hot dog also was split in half from cooking HAHA not their fault, but it made it a little tricky to eat. I also had peppers, onions, and jalepenos on top and added some ketchup. Definitely must try a Seattle dog while youre in Seattle! And this one was definitely tasty!

Time without number I've found myself here, be that first dates, my birthday, or New Year's Eve, and it always feels like home. If home were a clown/carnival themed acid trip of a pinball arcade bar, that is. And what's not to love about that? The bar tenders here are cool and friendly people who pour drinks with a heavy hand, and understand the mission: get the patrons who want to be drunk, drunk. The first few times I visited, I felt a leeriness about ordering food. But once I got over myself, I kinda fell in love with the menu, and I've probably eaten everything on it (including the clam chowder). Their hot dogs are wonders to behold, utter symphonies for the senses, and I refuse to visit Shorty's without getting one. Best dog in Seattle? Why yes. I think so. To paraphrase one reviewer: "Take your date here. If she doesn't like it, she's lame and you shouldn't waste your time with her anyways." Shorty's is the bomb.

That's not something paying customers want to hear. I ended up ordering a drink for myself while the guys were looking at the menu because they were doing a food hop, and us girls were doing a bar hop. During that time, the bartender came back to our table at least four times within about five minutes. Instead of being attentive, it felt pushy and aggressive, especially since they were still deciding what they wanted. I've been here a few times before, but after this experience, this will definitely be my last visit.

Hot Dog, corn batter, deep fried? Yeah, those things. I mean those things are kind of a staple thing you probably eat once and a while and think 'hey, that's tasty'. This place is those. Except they use rice. Yes, rice. WHICH FACE IT IS A PINCH DIFFERENT FOR A LOT OF US. Don't judge me. Rice and hot dogs just aren't two things that seemingly go together in my mind. However, it is very common in Korea. Apparently, they've been holding out on the good stuff. Because Rice Hot Dogs are good stuff. And this place has that good stuff. They've got a ton of variety of types, so you can even get a range to try. I recommend all of them. Though I had two. They were good, the ramen covered one, and the spicy cheesy one. Super fun, very unique around these parts, very worth the wait in line, and the calories.

Pretty much all the sportsbars and restaurants nearby were packed, so we decided to just walk to the Arena and eat inside. Then I noticed this little hotdog stand. The lady running the store was extremely nice, especially to my daughter (which always wins extra points from me!). I of course ordered the Seattle dog. They had various condiments and toppings available on the side including ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut, pickles and pickled carrots. It was just the perfect amount of food with lots of flavors. After we were done eating, we came by the stand to grab some napkins and the lady asked us how the food was. I thought it was a nice gesture. She really didn't have to say anything and she had quite a few customers in line. She was able to multitask and provide excellent service to every customer. This is a hotdog stand. There are no tables. Condiments and napkins are all self-service. Each hot dog was $12 (this already includes sales tax and tipping is optional). I highly recommend if you are here for concerts or kraken games and want some good food that won't cost you an arm and a leg inside the arena.

I had passed by this on several occasions and decided this would hold me over until dinner. I stepped up to the counter and placed my order. It was that simple. Paid and within a few minutes my order was ready. I went with a Kosher Style dog topped with chili and cheese with a large lemonade to accompany. When my order was ready I had to find somewhere to relax and consume. All nearby benches were taken and I went toward the water. Standing along the railing is where I decided down this quickly. The dog was constructed in an interesting manner. Shredded cheese was the base, then the dog, and then the chili. The cheese didn't really incorporate into this very well. I know the intention of this was to have the heat from the dog melt the cheese, but I think it would have melted more if either being on top of the dog or the chili. Letting the heat of the chili melt it a bit more. This didn't detract much from the flavor, but it would have helped with the cohesiveness of the dog. I appreciated being given utensils. I thought I'd be a champ and just consume this by hand. However, this would have been a huge mess and I would have worn a lot of this. The utensils also came into use when the dog was gone, everything that dropped off of here, including the onions I added after receiving the dog, needed to be gathered up and eaten as well. Pairing this with the fresh lemonade was the right choice. The saltiness of the dog had to be washed down. The drink was perfect, not too tart and not too sweet. A light meal that definitely got me through until dinner.

Whichever you choose- don't forget to ask for some of their homemade slaw to top that beautiful dog! I first found Secret Sausage outside the Owl and Thistle in Pioneer Square. Then outside the Clink after a game. It was an elusive Seattle street food treat- and in a lot of ways still is. They've expanded in recent years so sometimes you can find them at Microsoft campuses on occasion too. But I'll let you in on a little secret... they have a deal with the Thunderbird Tavern in Ballard. So if you're craving a Seattle Dog on a random Tuesday at 8:30pm for example... high tail it to the Thunderbird and get you one! Especially on a warm Summer evening: a Seattle dog with extra slaw, a glass of your favorite cold drink and a spot on the back patio - doesn't that sound so good right now?! Another favorite with Secret Sausage is The Firlander Sauce. While I personally am not a big fan of hot sauce, this spicy condiment has been a staple in our family for several years now.
