    curry rice - bulgogi
    Ryan H.

Da Pan Danny's Kitchen inside H-Mart was an awesome surprise and a great value for the quality and portion size. We ordered the Curry Rice with Bulgogi and split it between two people--it was more than enough food for both of us. The curry was a rich and flavorful yellow curry, and the beef was tender, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. Every bite had great balance and depth of flavor. The setup inside H-Mart has that fun, energetic vibe you get from food courts with multiple restaurants and shared community-style seating. It's casual but feels lively, and there are plenty of options to explore if you want to mix and match. Getting a filling, flavorful meal that two people can share for just $15 is a steal these days. We'll definitely be back to try more from their menu. Highly recommend if you're at H-Mart and looking for something delicious and satisfying.

The Korean style omurice was different than the Japanese ones I've had, but still decent. While the omurice itself was warm, the sauce it sat in wasn't warm though.

I came here for lunch today at the H Mart Market Eatery (food court style ambiance but elevated), and it was so hard to decide, everything looked great. I ended up getting the curry rice bulgogi #7 and it was fantastic. From the way the meal is displayed (see photo) to the way it tastes, it's perfection. I loved the side of miso soup that came with the meal as well. I highly recommend this dish and I'll definitely be back for more.

    20. Kimchi pasta bulgogi, $18.99

I've had two things from Da Pan: the bulgogi fried rice and the kimchi bulgogi pasta. The bulgogi fried rice is solid. It comes served on a hot plate on a bed of two different sauces, one whiteish and one reddish (can't remember what they are), neither adding anything to the dish for me. The five stars though, are for #20, Kimchi Bulgogi Pasta ($18.99). I was skeptical when it was served, but after mixing it together and trying it, I'm a believer! The creamy pasta with the savory bulgogi work so well together, paired with the slightly acidic/sour kimchi. The portion is HUGE- I had it for three meals! It is also served with daikon and miso soup. Definitely thinking of returning soon for some more!

This is one of the restaurants at the HMart food court. Their concept of Korean fusion food is pretty interesting and creative. I decided to try #6 Da Pan Topoki $17.50 as the picture on the menu and the description looked pretty enticing: Korean rice cakes in spicy sauce with fish cakes, carrots, onions, and green onions. The toppings were: a couple of really large rubbery fried squid, three fried seaweed rolls (japchae noodles inside)-these were super yummy, two tasty fried gyoza and an over boiled egg. The spicy sauce was not spicy for me but the flavor was pretty spot on and very good. The dish comes with a mild tasting miso soup and a few spiced radishes. I think the dish would've been even better and complete with some ramen noodles. I'd definitely come back and try some other dishes.

Ordered the beef fried rice with mesa soup. Fried rice was good and so was the beef bits. The meso was flavorful but luke warm. Nothing to special here.

This is inside H Mart. It's literally like being in a mall food court except it's cleaner. Service is about on-par with any fast food place. Depending on the time you go, parking for H Mart may or may not be a huge pain. I've never had bad food from here. However, I've only ever gotten 2 things from here, and I usually just get those because I like them so much and I'm not here very often. I often get the bulgogi noodles. This time I purchased the pork belly noodles. The pork belly is always crispy but still tender. It's cooked well, nothing is over seasoned. This dish tastes good whether you eat it there or take it home and reheat it. Maybe next time I'll try something new.

Da pan is part of a food hall located inside of H-Mart. Went on a Sunday and the seating was super packed. However by the time we ordered our food we were able to find open tables. Quite a variety of food offered but we chose Da Pan since we were craving toekbokki. Food took about 20-25 min. It was delicious and their "medium" regular spice wasn't bad at all. The seating area was quite hot. They could turn up the AC more. No fans installed. Which made it - bit uncomfortable for us to enjoy our meal. Overall would go back and also try other food!

Whenever I shop at HMart, I always stop by the food court to grab a bite to eat. Da Pan is the food stall that consistently catches my attention. You cannot resist seeing customers returning to their tables with a stone platter full of delicious Korean food. I have tried their bulgogi udon and omurice; both were excellent, with generous portions. The bulgogi udon was flavorful, and the noodles were al dente. The omurice was savory, smothered in a delectable sauce. Overall, I was impressed with the food and will return on my next HMart run.

I really wanted to love this place! It is inside H Mart right after the check out. It is a food court type area with a ton of tables. Everything is super clean and tons of tables to choose from. This plate looked like the best value out of all the restaurants for the smell, ingredients, and price. The food took about 25 minutes and there were not any orders in front of me but I was fine waiting in hopes it would be flavorful and fresh. Unfortunately, it had no flavor to the dish. All I could taste was the cheese and the beef flavor. It didn't have any flavoring to the beef and no matter how much soy sauce I put it did not help the flavor. They didn't have any chili oil or sriracha, they only have soy sauce. One of the local restaurants had chili oil and sriracha so I was able to add that but it still didn't have much flavor. The pot stickers were very crispy; but the inside of the potstickers had zero flavor. It tasted like I was eating a watery shell. The food court area is very clean and very welcoming, but regarding the taste and quality of the food I do not believe I would go back

Da Pan is Da Man! I love the menu options here as well as their themes. There's wizard, giant, goblin and archer sections of the menu for all those that want to break out the 20 sided dice to determine what meal will best level up your stats with. For my giant sized appetite I went with the Giant's menu omurice. The omurice looked impressive and perfectly plated. The omelet was expertly made and fully enveloped the fried rice inside. The rice itself was well seasoned and very good! There was no mushiness at all, you could taste the individual grains and it was just the right texture. The meal was coated with a sweet gravy that I wasn't the biggest fan of, but I think omurice sauce is a bit sweet to begin with anyways. The melted cheese and green onion on top added an extra layer of flavor and dimension which I appreciated. The price for the dish was $11.99 which seems a bit steep for essentially a smothered fried rice omelet but it was a high quality meal.

Da Pan is in the Market Eatery Food Court of H Mart in Mesa. This is an Asian Fusion Restaurant. After eating here my thoughts are that is like Guy Fieri was doing the cooking here. The food is strange and different. They offer Doritos Mac and Cheese and other strange things. I ordered the #13 Chicken Topoki. I thought that was a normal Asian meal but I was wrong...It had a Guy Fieri twist to it.....It came out with melted cheese on it. It was sweet and spicy...It had chicken, an egg, cabbage, carrots, fish cakes, and rice cakes in it and a lot of sweet and spicy Asian red sauce. The sauce tasted similar to what you put on cabbage rolls. It came with some soup and some kimchi...It's a very large portion and great value if you like it....... Don't take this the wrong way.....I can't say it was bad but the Bulgogi Risotto wasn't for either of our taste.....But I'm certain many people might like it. We were both expecting risotto with bulgogi in it. We got cream cheese rice with fine chopped bulgogi in it. Cream cheese rice is not at all similar to risotto. We both couldn't stomach it. LOOK AT THE YELP MENU PICTURE OF BULGOGI RISOTTO and now look at mine...NOT THE SAME AT ALL.... These dishes remind me of food from Guy Fieri restaurants. Three stars is not a negative review it just means that I have some reservations and means A-OK on Yelp.

My friends and I came to this place together because I had been before and liked the Korean food here. Food was legit and was a good experience previously. However, the day we came in, the waitress got my friend's order wrong as my friend wanted the bibimbap but the waitress heard something else and brought out a soup. When my friend immediately told her that isnt what she ordered, the waitress (new) proceeded to argue with my friend. I watched incredulously as things started to unfold. The waitress even asked my friend to pronounce bimbimpap again and told her she should learn how to pronounce it better. She kept arguing wirh my friend and mind you, waitess wasnt Korean or Korean American. At this point, I had to step in, as I also heard my friend say bibimbap clearly. The waitress didnt know what she was talking about and at the same time was being rude as heck to my friend. Then, my other friend shows up and orders a bibimpap. When the bibimpap is brought out, I asked her to bring some gochujang for my friend. I didnt know if my friend would like this chili paste, so wanted her to have the option to try it. The waitress again decided to argue about this and at this point, she was really testing my nerve. She said bibimpap doesn't come with gochujang and I am like thinking are you crazy, woman? I am not Korean but I have been eating Korean food for 30+ years, I know what I am talking about. She then asked me to repeat gochujang several times and I was very annoyed at this point. Its like, look lady, you dont know what youre talking about, stop sticking your foot in your mouth and come on, be nice to your customers! Because of this terrible behavior, I asked to speak to a manager, a woman came over and listened to what happened and apologized and thats how we found out she was new. I was beyond frustrated at this point. Despite the horrible service, I still left a 10% tip, but honestly the waitress deserves zilch and needed more training. The food is solid here but I wont be returning with that kind of behavior, I can choose where my money goes, and these days with it being so hard to get by, good luck to this place as I am not coming back.

They also served me a different one than what I had in the flight which tasted and looked different (it was murkier vs clear when ordered in the full bottle) and the bottle is def 13%.
