Pharmacy is slow, near impossible to get anyone on the phone. They have an ever-changing pharmacy staff, none that seem to care about the customer. I have been filling and refilling a sleeping pill that can only be filled every 28ish days here for 7-8 years. They have to order it. Every. Time. Which adds an additional couple of days. If their system could anticipate the refill and order it a couple of days before I'm allowed to refill, it would save me a lot of stress of running out. Very frustrating. read more

Dont usually right reviews but felt needed. If there was a closer pharmacy, i would go there. Contemplating driving further to get better service. Have had many issues with not answering phones. Staff is friendly but I dont know if its a computer problem (one i didnt have at my old cvs) or a lazy staff problem. Many times my Rx are scheduled to be filled a certain day and are never filled, and when i go on the app to schedule it again, it says its on hold. I called for several different Rx and they said they didnt know why it was on hold and could fill it today. Its very inconvenient to have to call and go wait for someone to answer to fill an rx that was suppose to be filled already and then i get it late. One thing that really upset me, i got text that a prescription had till a the end of friday to be picked up, or it would be put back, I got that text at 7pm Thursday, so drove up there and they had already put it back and asked if i would wait for them to fill. I said no and left. Also dont like that they get an Rx and will sit on it all day before filling it. My old cvs pharmacy always communicated so well, letting me know issues that came up or letting me Know what was going on. Really thinking of driving farther, just to get better service. read more

CVS INCOMPETENCE After multiple run-ins with this store on various issues on where I live and my phone number and why they "put back" my medicine within a week of me refilling it *without contacting me* this relationship is O-V-E-R. A special "newsflash" to CVS: I've lived in the same house since before this store was built and no, I don't live in California and never have. I live in Texas, near where this store is located. I asked why the store never notifies me that my meds are ready after I've given them my phone number NUMEROUS TIMES which today they confirmed they had on file but it was in "a separate field." I was told that they didn't notify me because I wasn't signed up for "robo calls." Really? Do I have to beg for my healthcare provider to contact me or for instructions for "the secret handshake?" The icing: I was told they couldn't look up my medical/order history. I went to notify CVS corporate via CVS.com of the issue but there was no contact form that I could locate. Epic fails, CVS. Zero trust in you like others and your 3 star rating. Moving on to Walgreen's. read more

Customer Service has trumpeted being convenient, plus hanging up on customers when in the middle of a calm conversation is not cool. So... the issues is they consistently do not read prescriptions fully - routinely marking no refills when there are clearly refills. I have had to do the leg work to obtain the originally prescription to prove that there were refills still available. No apology or explanation why. Whoever is transcribing the prescriptions clearly is not detailed oriented or care the extra work and headache that this causes Too many times this has happened - changing pharmacies. read more

This CVS is very close to our house, so it's the one we go to all the time. We like it, and are generally happy with it, but something "funny" happened to us yesterday. My wife bought $50 worth of merchandise, and the pharmacy printed the receipt and the long string of coupons. One of them is for $10 off. One problem. It's expired. It was JUST printed at the pharmacy, and it's already expired. My wife asked the manager, and he said "Nope. It's expired." She explained they JUST printed it, but it didn't matter. So they're printing expired coupons. Lots of trees being sacrificed for nothing. Silly! Not a big deal, just kind of left a bad taste in our mouths. read more

Awful experience. Was told to wait 15-20 mins but ended up almost an hour on a simple medication for a baby. When I told them I wish they told me it took that long to wait so I could have gone somewhere else, the person just cut me off from the conversation. Trying to get someone but no one (there were 2 ladies working on 11/1/19) paid attention. Not good personnel's at this store. read more

If I could give this negative starts, it would be less. I was thrilled when this pharmacy opened because it was so close to my house. For the first year it was actually very nice and the pharmacy seemed to know what they were doing. Since then, it has been nothing short of chaos and incompetence every time I go. This week I have never seen more mistakes than in the last two years. The techs have no idea how to count, could use some extra training in service and the pharmacist is rude and insulting. Despite it being so close I could walk, I will be switching. This week was epic. I have to gone back and forth to the store 4 times now because of a mistake they made and can't take of it over the phone even though I have nothing to take back or pick up. Absolutely ridiculous when I called hours in advance to make sure things were handled correctly the first time to apply a manufacturer coupon. When my my husband arrived to pick up the medicine, the removed the coupon. So I had to go back to get a refund they said they could issue only with the receipt. When I got there, they didn't need the receipt, only my husband's card which I had to return home to get, then get it issued. After getting the refund, they decided they made another mistake by issuing me the wrong amount. So as a the right thing to do, I returned to give them their money back. At this point, I have a few more to pick up and wanted to pay for it all together. They then, let me pay for it, charged me for my prescription, and an extra that I don't even have. When I attempted to show them my receipt that they charged me for something I did not get, they refused to issue me a refund and walked away. I refused to leave the drive through. They rudely then, threw cash in the drawer without a receipt, explanation or an apology. Then left again without a word. I waiting again and they wanted to know what I wanted now. I asked them to issue the refund back to my card (as they told me prior that was the only way they could issue me a credit) and told me it was impossible and could not provide me a receipt or tell me what medicine it was for. This is the definition of incompetence and absolute rudeness. When I called back when I returned home to speak to a manager, he refused to help me and told me he wasn't the manager and would have her call me back on Monday. This is absolutely fraud on their part and I plan to file a complaint with the insurance company for filing a false claim. I never accepted their cash because I would never have proof without a receipt that they refused to give me. NEVER will I go back to this store, even if I was dying. read more

Shaunda here is very rude. We went through to get something before a meeting we had. When we got in line Shaunda was speaking to the customers in front of in a friendly tone, as soon as we got to the register, she became very snappy. One member in my party added an item after we had already scanned the items, she became even more annoyed at that. Then when we tried typing in the phone number on the keypad for the CVS rewards, she rudley stated that did not work and rudley repeated "phone number" numerous times. Then to top it off she was not wearing a name tag. What type of manager is she? I will definitely not be returning to this CVS even though it is the closest to me. I will make the drive to Leander. This CVS pharmacy is in dire need of competent employees - including the pharmacist. I have gone several times and every time there is a problem with filling the prescription correctly or dealing with snappy communication from the pharmacist. This final episode I'm sharing happened Just a couple days ago when I went to pick up my prescription. It was a total headache being told to wait at the drive up window while they looked forever for the script. Then they told me I needed to wait 45 minutes while they filled it. I went back an hour later in a long line of cars only to be told I needed to come into the store and speak with the pharmacist. They're totally understaffed as I waited for close to another hour as the only 2 young assistants were trying to keep up with the customers. The pharmacist wasn't happy nor was she helpful. In fact, she wouldn't talk to me let alone look at me. She was snapping at the young assistant what she wanted him to tell me. I understand theres a lot of pressure with the traffic but she was not dealing well at all with customer service. The ultimate turnoff? Today I realized she only half refilled my prescription. I only have enough for 2 weeks - not 4. I am dreading going back to get it filled correctly. I like the store but I am set on never using the pharmacy again. After all the negative reviews here on yelp along with hearing complaints from acquaintances I am really surprised CVS has not looked into correcting this aggravating problem. read more

The pharmacy is either incompetent or just doesn't care. Multiple times we have gone to get a prescription filled, and they have quoted the full retail price and claimed that our insurance is "inactive" according to their system. Each time we ask them to call our (very much active) insurance, and they refuse. I have never heard of a pharmacy or doctor's office refusing to pick up the phone to verify benefits. This has necessitated us wasting time calling the insurance, waiting on hold, and speaking with a representative... only for that representative to call the pharmacy and then magically CVS is able to verify our benefits! This has happened with two different insurance providers, which leads me to believe that the people behind the counter have no clue how to verify insurance. Save yourself the headache and go to HEB or Walgreens, which I will be doing from now on. It's really unfortunate because of the convenience of it being located right outside our neighborhood, but the amount of time we have wasted doing the pharmacy's job has completely negated the convenience. read more

I went in today 10/12/2020 to get a flu shot. Simple enough but not at this sore. The staff had never see a Medicare Advantage plan card and kept asking for my red, white and blue Medicare card which you don't have if you are on a Medicare Advantage plan. I tried to explain but they told me I didn't know what I was talking about. Many seniors have Advantage plans so they need to figure out how to serve them. I'm done with this store even though it's a few blocks from my house. read more

Staff at the pharmacy seem inefficient. My wife gets her prescriptions from here usually so they definitely have my record on file. I recently went in for a flu shot and the lady at the counter found me on the system then took my insurance card and spent 15 mins typing on the computer. I finally asked what was up and she said she's getting incorrect information, I may have to go to a doctor's office. I said I have gotten flu shots at Walgreens and other places before. Then we says, well we don't contract with Anthem bcbs, thats Why. What?? Really? And If so, why wouldnt you say it the moment you see the insurance card instead of wasting time. read more
