We used to go to Hippo Pharmacy until it closed in 2023. We opted to transfer to Quick Pharmacy and are very pleased. The prices are set by insurance but their cash prices are aggressive. Never had any hesitation to ask questions or get interaction opinions. Doctors prescribe whatever and often care not of the interactions of the drugs prescribed. Here, they catch that and at least make you informed so you can get back to your doc to see alternatives. It is really a boutique pharmacy at budget prices. read more

I was sent to this pharmacy by my Veterinarian. This pharmacy was providing antibiotics for my cat. The pharmacist was caring and professional. He made me feel as though my prescription was important to him, and I do believe it was. He truly had integrity and a love for helping others. The store was very clean and comfortable. They also had a drive-through window. My prescription was reasonably priced. I will not hesitate to do business here again. read more

I've been going to Quick for years to get some very specific medications filled for a very painful, often debilitating disease. My insurance changed what they would and wouldn't pay for this week, and Gilbert helped make the process as smooth as possible! Not only that, but my car has needed work done, and they will be delivering them from Round Rock to downtown Pflugerville tomorrow! Thank you to Gilbert and Nam for all the help and genuine concern. Review update...I felt really bad when I learned about the damage done to this pharmacy after the freeze and that they had to close for 4 months. Good compound pharmacies are so hard to find and Gus, their partner pharmacy couldn't fill my script. A great Pharmacy in Georgetown, Liberty, was able to help, albeit a 20 mile drive. Finally Quick is open again so I don't have to drive so far. I called and they will continue to fill my script and I am so relieved because they get it done with the two day notice and promptly notify me when it is ready. I need to do a much longer review but: they ALWAYS HAVE whatever a large chain cannot ever get in. Ever. They are ordering a drug a pharmacy has been attempting for a month. They do wonderful compounds-and work with you when insurance decides compounds aren't needed. Love love love!!!! read more

Completely Disappointed Been with this pharmacy for over 2 years to meet the needs of my medically fragile daughter. I have had issues but nothing like last weekend. I understand problems arise, it is inevitable, but the lack of care from the staff is mind blowing. In this industry when a patient needs assistance and staff is rude and unwilling is unacceptable! I have transferred all of my prescriptions from there and do not recommend at all!! So sad. read more

I wanted to update my review. I spoke with the pharmacist when I picked up my order and she apologized for the misunderstanding. Gave me the reasoning behind it. Apparently this RX was changed and it needed to be compounded. She did see my form with the correct contact information. They did update that as well. I appreciate them stepping up and fixing the situation. I would have given 5 stars but they did not update my Information which caused someone else to get my information. If you need prescriptions filled, this is the place to go. I've been using Quick Pharmacy for over 5 years. Now under new ownership, the staff does a great job and really excels when it comes to customer service. I came in with questions about my prescription. I spoke to Jay. Jay remembered the prescription, dose and even the changes to the dosage. I was very impressed. They call or text me when my prescription is ready to be picked up. They were handling my pets compound meds for her kidney disease. Suddenly one day the complained it was too much of a HASSLE for them to keep making her life threatening medicine. They did not give me any warning they were not refilling nor any suggestions of another pharmacy that could handle it. I would not go back to this pharmacy if they paid me. I love Quick Pharmacy and have been using it since it opened. However, I find the current situation very frustrating. It would be helpful to include a message on the phone or on the website notifying customers to go to Gus's in Georgetown instead of having to go to quick and finding a note on the door. This pharmacy family store is so amazing. I walked into the store for the first time looking for a certain shampoo, due to my scalp is so sensitive. I meet a young lady by the name of Farrah. I walked to the pharmacy and she greeted me with a smile and I asked her if she could take the time out to help me find the shampoo I was looking for for my scalp. Farrah was so helpful, even thou we did not find the shampoo she politely asked if the store could order for me!!!!!!! I was in amazed that they could. They weren't able to tell me when they would have my compounded medication ready, I had to call them to see if they received the order from my doctors office. They said it would cost 8 dollars to ship it to my house. I went with Terrytown Pharmacy instead-they were more expensive but able to fill the order that day. They would ship it for free but I picked it up because they are open till 8pm. They called me within 20 minutes of receiving the order from my physician. I'm disappointed with Quick Pharmacy. I had to get a special compound medicine for my very sick kitty. When I picked it up I asked if I should continue with his other medicine. They said let me let you talk to a pharmacist. Ok she said ask my vet. She said you don't have to refrigerate this medicine. I went home and read the bottle it it said give .5 ml followed by 30 ml water. I thought that was strange so I called. I spoke with a different pharmacist this time. He said yes fill up the syringe with water. The medicine could burn his throat if I didn't. Glad I called! Also, the syringes they provided us were so cheap the 2nd time I used it it broke. My kitty was foaming at the mouth. It was green. Scared the crap out of us. We ordered more online and used them. I think 1. I shouldn't have to request a consultation with a pharmacist when I'm receiving a new medication. 2. During the consultation she should have mentioned the thing about the water and the throat burning thing. And 3. Jeez syringes aren't that expensive. When it's this important use the good ones. read more

I've been coming here for over a year. I'm writing this review to off set the rather lengthy negative one that someone posted earlier. I have never been treated rudely either at the drive-up window or in the store. Most of my prescriptions are filled through mail order pharmacy, but I have two scripts that can't be filled through the mail. I was having a lot of trouble getting these filled through the larger pharmacy on a regular basis and my medical provider suggested Quick. I'm so glad I did, as they never fail to fill them every month. read more

For prescriptions that are long-term this is the best service you can find. The pharmacists aren't just pill counters, they are actually paying attention to what you've previously taken etc. If they need to call/fax your doc for any reason, they will. The big chain pharmacies stopped doing that years ago, they will just hand the script back to you and say deal with it (in my experience). read more

After having some very negative interactions at some of the franchise pharmacies in the area I decided to start using Quick and am very glad I did. I get medications for myself and my dog there and am a frequent customer. I have always been treated professionally and with great kindness. If for some reason there's an issue getting a medication they are quick to alert me and offer alternatives so I can get what is needed. My dog can only use a drug that's made by a specific manufacturer and they always make sure they have some in stock. Every time I've use the drive-in I've gotten a quick and friendly response. I'm kind of surprised at some of these negative reviews because I've dealt with so many different personnel at the pharmacy over the last 3 years and everyone has always gone above and beyond. For some reason, my previous reviews are missing, so it looks like I'm starting over. I am not an avid poster, but I've probably posted about 20 times. The last time I checked, my reviews were equally divided between 1 star and 5. My point is, I don't only post when something is negative. I only say that because when I look at the reviews for this place, I'm shocked at the difference between what they describe, and my experience over a few months. I see that these reviewers have only posted 1-3 times, and I can only wonder if they're legit. I wanted to love this place. It looks like a family owned pharmacy that has been here, holding it's own against big pharmacies, and I admire that. I began going there a few months ago. Unfortunately, each time I went, the people at the window were pretty consistently rude - never helpful, never friendly, just kind of abrasive. So much for pleasantness, but I continued because who cares, really? It's a short transaction, and I can get my prescriptions and go. I was willing to weather the unpleasantness, but my last attempt to go there, they didn't even fill my prescription. I called it in on Friday, and she asked me if I wanted to pick it up that afternoon. I let her know that I would pick it up Saturday morning. I didn't go until Monday morning. I arrived after they opened on Monday, and it was raining hard. I was attempting to go fast, because I was on my way to the airport. I sat there for a long time before anyone came to the window. I let her know why I was there...she kept disappearing for looong periods of time. I ended up being there for 23 minutes, the only customer in the whole place, trying to pick up a prescription that had been called in 4 days earlier. After a lot of her coming to the window and leaving, and doing other things (you can see through the window when they're talking amongst themselves, stocking shelves, etc), she let me know that it hadn't been done. I asked her if she could get me just 3 pills to hold me over until I could get back to get the rest. She left, and began doing other things. She finally came back, and said it wasn't ready. I asked again if she could get 3 pills for me...I thought she was already trying to do that, but she acted like this was the first time that she had heard it. Ultimately, I ended up leaving without medicine so that I wouldn't miss my flight. I realize mistakes happen, people drop the ball, etc, but with a little sense of urgency and a little focus on customer service, she could have made this ok. She just didn't want to be bothered. I was willing to put up with cranky people that gave me my medicine, but cranky people that don't give me my medicine...what's the point? I'm going to ask my doctor if there is a "Walgreens" alternative. It may not be as good (?), but at least I'll know I can get it when it needs to be refilled. I'm also going to see if there are other pharmacies in the area that compound - I'm guessing if there was, though, this place would already be out of business. read more
