The "real" people behind the counter are absolutely Great!! The automated system when you call is absolutely horrible. It is unusable if there is any background noise at all. There is no option to use the telephone keypad and turn interactive voice off. The product manager/owner of this system should have never moved this to production. They obviously did not test it in a real-world environment. It is so frustrating that I am considering moving my prescriptions to Walgreens. read more

Sarah was wonderful and helped us take the best passport photos. Excellent customer service and so kind. Thank you so much Sarah!!!

YEP, you guessed it! I've had yet another STELLAR experience with this CVS and I am so very thankful that starting next year my insurance will allow me to use a different pharmacy! Until then, I am going to transfer my prescriptions to a different location and cross my fingers! What happened this time you asked? Great question! My prescription was short 6 pills, this is a steroid pack not an opioid or anything. Anyone who takes them knows you only take them if you really need them! This has happened before, and with my migraine meds too, they shorted me almost my entire prescription! They made it right. Not this time, the nice pharmacist, the Asian male (sorry, don't know his name) all but hung up in my face! The same one that closed the blinds on me in the drive through. Let's normalize providing SERVICE when you are in the SERVICE INDUSTRY! Please and thank you! read more

I went to print photos at one of the kiosks and the printer ran out of paper, no problem. The problem starts when there is no one working the front of the store and you have to ring a bell for service. Then no one comes so you ring again, and then you go to the pharmacy and have them page for someone. The only way I got someone was because they walked in the front door from taking their break outside. There was atleast 1 in 2 people in the back and they never came to the front. They don't seem to care for their store or their customers, what a shame. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

This review is for the Minute Clinic only. I came to this location even though it was an additional 20min drive for me and I am less than 2mi from my closest CVS because the online posted wait time was none vs 91mins! I get there and login at the kiosk (which is a touchscreen which just seems counterproductive considering most people touching that screen are being seen for some sort of communicable plague!? There is a purell station next to it, but still...gross!) right behind a lady who could not figure out how the damn thing worked. So I had to help her dumb butt just so i could register!! The person they were seeing came out and the lady I helped went in...I was hoping it was going to be quick...alas it took almost 25mins!? After I got in there, I figured out why. They have both a PA & a NP see you in a cramped little examination room and the majority of the "visit" is spent w/one of them asking u symptom questions and entering them in on a computer and the other one just standing there. It would have been much more efficient for one to take vitals while the other is asking questions and entering info. I also had to request a strep culture. The whole thing just seemed really odd and no offense to NP, but she was either in training or not competent...either way, the visit could have gone a lot faster if it was just the PA. I did like that they print out all ur paperwork then and there, you pay them then and there, and they send you on your merry way. It did seem like a perfunctory visit since I was told "I probably just had a virus and to take OTC meds/drink lots of water/rest"...literally the same free advice I could have gotten from the pharmacist. If I didn't need a Dr note for work, I honestly would not do this again. That being said, it was a nice last minute, somewhat affordable option when you need to see a med professional. read more

Clean store always has what I need. Everyone is very helpful and is always asking if i need help which is awesome

Customer service sucks. Asked a worker to find 2 items and she told me she wasn't going to find everything for me lol

I transferred our prescriptions from another CVS (Old Settler's) after a bad experience. Also brought over our other business. Then had an issue with missing envelopes that should come with my 5x7 cardstock holiday picture cards but shoutout to Dalisay who emphatized with me and resolved the issue to my satisfaction. She didn't lose composure throughout and had excellent customer service. Old Settler's should learn a thing or two from them. read more

Great service. We were received with a cheerful smile which is getting rare these days. When did we forget to be happy? Will definitely come back. read more

This pharmacy's drive through needs some serious work. I have gotten stuck in the line here so many times. Today sent me over the edge. I pulled up to get my meds. There was a car at the window so we went to the second stall. The lady tells us we cannot pick up from this lane. So we back up and get in the other line. We had to wait behind one car for 25 minutes. Unacceptable. It's really poor customer service. There was no one else in line. We sat behind that car for 25 minutes when they could have sent the meds to the other lane. I don't get it. Very disappointing. read more

The best CVS pharmacy I've been to. Just got a Covid test done here and the lady that helped me was on time and very quick! I am never going to another CVS ever. Especially after my bad experience with the CVS on Kelly Ln. I waited for over three hours yesterday and then they told me they couldn't take me in anymore. Wish I had gone here in the first place! read more

I was at the CVS located at Gattis School, round Rock TX and had a simple question about OTC; the girl at Pharnacy as soon as she heard the OTC started talking in a rude manner and wasn't letting me to say it's not my question, finally I asked "which tags show that if they are acceptable for OTC" she called somebody to help me (she was the person that months ago I once talked with her and she introduced herself as concierge); unfortunately she was not enough patient to help me either. Before I say my question she started talking with me in a rude manner, off course after I asked my question she started talking in many sentences so I noticed that the answer was simple, (depends on your insurance) and I as a customer didn't think about that but expected pharmacy associate just simply answer my question (in stead of that simple sentence she was talking and talking impatiently and rude then I thought I'm better off just to order online and I don't like to deal with them again. read more

Count your pills. My son has a prescription for OxyContin, and it's quite frequently short.

I as well have had the same issues just like all of the other reviews on here. I decided to check in online so that I wouldn't have to wait once I got there. I got there maybe a minute pass my appointment. So I figured he would be ready to go by the time I got there. But no, he was still with someone else, which was fine with me. Once he was done with that patient, he told he he would be right back. I was ok with that because I figured he had to help a patient locate something. So it defiantly took him longer than I expected, it took him 10 minutes to get with me. Once back there, he asked me a ton of questions about my symptoms. I answered all the questions plus told him other symptoms. So he checks my vitals, and checks my heart and breathing. After doing that, he told me that I should take my allergy medicine. I told him that I know I have allergies but this has nothing to do with my allergies. I've been sick going on 5 days and none of it pointed to allergies. Then he tells me, oh well you might have a virus or the flu. But if you keep puking (yes I know that's gross) you should go to the hospital or ER. After that he told me about medicine that I've already have taken and pretty much didn't help at all. Yes I feel like I wasted my time going here bc he didn't prescribe me over the counter medicine. He told me about medicine that any person could have guessed to take. I've been to plenty of minute clinics and I feel that this is by far the worst experience I have had. He was not friendly at all, I could have just googled my symptoms and would have found a better information on what to take. Would I come back here???? Let me think about that one????? Uh no! Never again, waste of time and money! read more

I'm also with Wesley on this RAT HOLE of a pharmacy. I've had it with the Pharmacy folks who seem over worked and are never happy to see your face. My only saving grace is that I am able to transfer all my active prescriptions to Caremark for handling since they seem anxious to help you out. While the store itself is clean and the cashiers up front are always helpful, I'm giving this pharmacy one star for their lack of professionalism in the Pharmacy section. read more

The pharmacy drive through is a joke. I was stuck behind one car for over 20 minutes. There's no reason to let them sit in the line like that. Tell them how long it will take to fill the medication and then ask them to park and pull through the drive through at a later time. It's not that hard. 9 cars stacked up behind me. And no, we can't just walk in because we are contagious and are trying not to spread germs. Basic customer service fail. Every single car could have been helped in that amount of time. read more

Rude and uncaring Pharmacy I have been using this particular CVS on Gaddis School Road in Round Rock for eleven years. As of today, I will never enter through their door or drive thru again! The level of not caring at all about their loyal customers is absolutely unacceptable. I wish I could give a 0 for they certainly do not deserve a 1 Star. Their policy is first come, first served. Knowing that I need a certain medication on a certain date does not interest them in the least. They almost gleefully announce that they are out of the medication and I will have to wait several days for it to be ordered. They know I do not have enough of the medication on hand to wait. This medication is not available on refill as it is a regulated medication. If they know a loyal customer of more than 11 years, who spends many thousands of dollars a year need a medication around the 12th of the month, why can they not make sure that they have 90 of those tablets available. Why the drama? They just do not care about their customers! There is a pharmacy on every corner. I am choosing a different one. CVS has collected their last dollar from me! Don't shop there! The rudest if all is someone named Timmothy. I've seen him lay the phone down when he does not want to listen to a customer! He absolutely should not keep his job. read more

This RAT HOLE of a pharmacy is beyond incompetent. I have a lot of expensive prescriptions and I've had verbal arguements with their staff and have since transferred ALL of my prescriptions to Walgreens who appreciates my $30,000 in annual RX bills alone. If you are sick or needing help don't go here. Everything is a problem and I even complained to the district manager who never did anything to correct the huge and serious complaint that I had with a bitchy temp person that embarrased me and herself in public as well as on the phone. NEVER AGAIN! read more

i came to the store today looking for some eye vitamins. i saw they posted a sign saying the second botle will get 50% off. When I came to the cashier to check out, she insisted that I had to sign up for their saving card before I could take the discount. If they want customers to sign up for their card they should have posted it with their ad for discount right below their merchandise which is the usual standard practice for retail. Randalls (right accross the street ) always inform their customers about required card for discount. Since I did not want to lose my time for nothing, I had to go thru the whole process of providing my email and phone number before she could give me the discount. The next cashier was standing next to her throwing the racial slur at me calling me "chin". I would never set foot in that store again, Besides deceiting business practice, they are racist people. read more

My insurance informed me last month I would have to give up my beloved HEB pharmacy to fill my RX. I threw a fit, as this was the closest CVS pharmacy to me, and I LOATH coming here. My experience with previous pharmacy staff at this (ok ALL CVS's) had never been a pleasant experience. Although my information has been the same for 4 years, there's always an issue, and nobody calls to let me know, allowing me to drag whatever sick kid (or myself) and wait miserably while they fixed it. I see a change now. The pharmacy tech was pleasant and had a can do attitude, even though again, an issue with insurance. She offered me alternatives, and apologized for the inconvenience. Taking responsibility? What what!?!? I also purchased a few items at the front, and again received service from someone who wanted to help! So awesome! I am looking forward to my next visit! read more

CVS Pharmacy - Dead CVS roaches in this dirty store - Drugstores Near Me - Round Rock, Texas

Everyone in this CVS has a massive attitude problem and needs to learn how to be professional. My prescriptions are always fairly simple, they're called in by the doctor or I do it myself when it's not available for mail order. This CVS never has had an order ready to pick up. It's like they wait for you to get there to then fill it. Counter productive. I worked a lot in retail and in customer service so I try to be nice and positive when dealing with employees as I've been there but everyone in this place is far from receptive or appreciative. I had an issue where insurance denied my prescription from being filled and the tech couldn't tell me why. He thought his mumbly response of telling me I'd have to call my insurance was good enough. It took a week to get it straightened out and it was a simple issue that really CVS should have handled. Also pretty sure they steal pills. Count them. After being pushed to the back of the line (for an order that was called ahead 6 hours earlier) so the tech could flirt with some ghetto fabulous insta-model I decided to finally take my business elsewhere. It also was in this same week that the power went off at this CVS and they didn't even bother to pull product off the shelves. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for several years. We have never had any of the issues discussed here. The pharmacists have always been professional and courteous as have the pharmacy techs. I've never used the Minute Clinic, so I can't address those issues. read more

I will give the mini-clinic located inside CVS on 1855 Gattis School Road Round Rock, TX 78644 One STAR. I came to this location even though I have a CVS closer to me about 4 minutes drive. I have never had any issues with the pharmacy, or the staff, they are respectful and very professional. However, the nurse in the mini-clinic is unprofessional, brash/rude and very disrespectful to customers. She is tacky, arrogant and does not qualify to be a nurse let alone work in CVS. She is over her head and feels she can talk to customers any how. She shouldn't be a nurse or work in that CVS period. I am not sure how she became a nurse when she has no respect and ZERO empathy . I have had 2 neighbors said the same about her behavior, rudeness manner. She s very incompetent for the job. read more

Not happy with the NP at this CVS Minute Clinic at all. I was waiting to be seen for a burn on my hand. He came out from his previous visit to let me know he was going to lunch and asked what I was being seen for. I replied and then he repeated he was going to lunch. I asked him to cancel my visit. I won't be back. I hope he enjoyed that meal. read more

I had my daughter attempt to drop off a RX from my discharge meds after a major surgery and she was told they didn't have enough to fill the RX. No other option was provided. Usually they will offer to call another location to see if they have what's needed. When I called to talk to the 'supposed' manager he told me they don't do that and I Would have to ask them to call and then he was very rude. "We don't have the RX so what do you want us to do?" Umm...the obvious thing, call another CVS. I mean even the auto parts store does that! I pray they don't treat any mentally disabled or elderly customers with the same care. Sometimes the customer may be ill and not think to ask which is where customer service skills should activate and ask the customer if they would like them to call another store. It's obvious that if a person a a RX for meds that they have some sort of impairment or illness and may need a little compassion. I guess all the NEW meds disbursement laws makes pharmacies treat everyone as a drug seeking Mule! This is disgraceful! I now will drive to a new location for my meds for better customer service. read more

This is not your ordinary pharmacy boys and girls... I have to admit that the folks at this location have really impressed me over the years. As far as the pharmacy section, it only takes them seeing you once or twice for them to remember you next time you come in and ask how you're doing and be ever prepared to help you fix what may be ailing you next. The staff has always been exceptionally friendly and it's rare the good drugs aren't ready when they say they will be. Pretty darn good service. Though I've never used their MinuteClinic, I have stuck my head in a few times to ask random "a doctor would know" questions and those staffing the closet size room of medical awesomeness are always ready to answer and seem happy to be of assistance. Figure if I ever went to get something simple like a flu shot or some such I'd probably hit them up for it as they're in a terribly conveneint location and you don't seem to need to make some kind of appointment to be seen. The regular unleaded stuff in the rest of the store is just as awesome. Not quite a miniature walmart, but much better than your local gas station. They tend to always have the essentials and even enough stuff in their random freezer section to allow for bringing home dinner when cooking from scratch or fast food aren't on the agenda. Oh, and prices are actually pretty good too. Sometimes you may pay a little more for the convenience of having everything you want right there in the store, but overall you'd probably pay the same-ish going to walmart. Not too shabby. Overall, I'd totally recommend folks use this location. Location is easy to get to, lots-o-stuff for the purchasing, and the staff in/out of the pharmacy has always been very helpful and friendly. Two thumbs up! read more

I had a great experience here. The staff are friendly. I went to the Minute Clinic and the Nurse Practitioner was really awesome. She explained everything I was sick with and how to use the medicines correctly, and she answered all my questions I had. She helped me to feel better about what's going on so that I can be on the path to feeling better. If you need to go to a quick clinic I recommend coming to the Minute Clinic. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. This minute clinic is horrible. I checked to make sure my insurance, Aetna was covered at this clinic. But my insurance now says they were out of network. I just wanted to do a simple check to see if I had strep throat. I was charged twice for the influenza test, and was not told the tests would be an extra $35 charge for each test! Had I known I would have only had the strep test done. Go find a real doctor, not this crack pot in a box. Now I owe them $234. Complete and utter bs. I will never go to a cvs minute clinic again. read more

I recently changed jobs and as a result, insurance providers as well. Ive gone to various walgreens locations over the years with no issue but was informed humana customers can only go to cvs or walmart but not walgreens. I just tried to pickup my script at the drive thru of the Gattis School and AW Grimes location. After waiting my turn for about ten minutes, i get to the window and give the attendant my insurance card. Simultaneously I see a sign on the window (not visible until you're at the window )that says insurance changes have to be processed inside so I acknowledge it to her and apologize stating I didnt see the sign until that moment (because how else can you see it from the line of cars). She says no problem and then pops back up two minutes later and says ill have to go around and get back in line so they can verify my insurance info. I look in my rear view and see three cars behind me so inform her that "this is ridiculous and i dont have another 20 minutes to wait in line." She seemed surprised and honestly shes lucky I didnt share exactly what I was thinking but wow! Poor signage, bad customer service, and incompetent employees. CVS should be embarrassed...what an awful and poorly run organization. read more

It is the worst, customer service is an after thought... if I never have to get another prescription filled here that would be amazing!

Came to get a last minute physical for my daughter. Arrived at 840, they opened at 830. Walked out at 10:47..... There was one person being seen when we arrived. They were done after about 20 minutes that we arrived. We were stuck in that room with Dr for about an hour and a half with physical and data entry input. Rusticity. Dr was very nice but the time was horrible. read more

Called in to the Minute Clinic main number and was told to go to this location because there was a 0 minute wait. I arrive and stand in line for 25 minutes watching a guy struggle to put his information into the touchscreen kiosk. The doctor was in his office with the door open and saw the other patient having trouble with the kiosk but did nothing. Then when he was finally done, I stepped up to enter my own information only to be told by the doctor that he would be going to lunch immediately after treating the other guy. What the hell??? I will never go back to another Minute Clinic or CVS Pharmacy. Horrible customer service with no regard for people who have been waiting. If you're not going to see someone, then at least come out and say it right away instead of making them wait, only to be told you waited for nothing. read more

This place has gone downhill since I started to come here. They are always understaffed, poor customer service all around, never have refills ready on time, often out of stock of prescriptions... Instead, they are on a half wall outside of the restrooms. Ugh! read more

I would never shop at that pharmacy again because there pharmacist is the absolute worst person I ever encountered in customer service. She refused to refill my prescription because it was to early by 3 days. My Doctor called and asked for it to be released early because I was going out of the country. That didn't work I than called my insurance and there was no problem on there end. She at that point told me to go to another pharmacy because she wasn't refilling it until the 5th or 6th. I changed pharmacies to go to there pharmacy awhile back. Had I known someone like that who is trying to play God was there I never would have. I am transferring all my scripts to the new pharmacy and will never give them a dime of my business until they do something about her. I went there last night to get her name and found out that I am only one of many complaints on her and that pharmacy. Nobody deserves to be treated the way she did me and for no reason. I hope that somebody from there reads this and takes it seriously otherwise they will have a lot less customers. read more

I'm very pleased with the service here. I walked into the Minute Clinic on a Saturday. I didn't make a reservation and I didn't have to wait at all. The Doctor was nice and quickly prescribed meds for an ear infection. I have Ambetter Superior Health Insurance and all I had to pay was the copay. My prescriptions were immediately ready at the pharmacy. I didn't know that the meds would cost over $100. But they applied a coupon and I only had to pay $50. I didn't have to ask. They saved me money without me even knowing! I highly recommend these folks for minor illness care. read more

I have to agree with Wesley. Were it not for my company discounting prescriptions through CVS, I would avoid them after the experiences I continue to have there. Once it was just a never-ending prescription fill for something that should take 5 mins, took over 2 hours and that was only after I came back and asked for status only to observe all 3 women in the pharmacy chatting it up and hardly working. Just recently, they completely botched my prescription and tried to blame it on my doctor. It wasn't until I asked them to explain in full what happened that they came clean about their big mistake. Not impressed and I'll be moving to another store for sure. read more
