Called PD Labs to inquire because I was one day away from running out of a critical medication and they discovered my unit number had been missing from the address. They shipped a new RX overnight at their expense! The original RX eventually showed up that afternoon (the post person had guessed my unit number based on all of my other mail) and it was too late in the day to inform them (due to time difference). New RX arrived over the weekend. I called next business day to inform them of both orders arriving and asked how I could send the duplicate order back. They kindly told me to keep it for future use. I've contacted the store and have been assured that they know they are supposed to do it. I now ask them to please do it. However, today when I did that, the tech just stared at me, printed my receipt and sent my Rx out. And of course, she did not record my phone number. This is just lazy.

FIND ANOTHER PHARMACY if you're looking to have an accurate, on-time prescription. I tend to order…read moremy prescriptions through the HEB Rx app. That process is ok, but it needs CONSIDERABLE work. The regular excuse I get is that the app isn't very good. Duh! Then don't put it out there! The biggest problem is that it will allow you to select a date by which you can pick up the prescriptions, but that is hardly ever correct. I have learned to request the latest time possible to pick up my prescriptions, but still there will be one missing or "ordered." My last time I was told the prescription was "on order" and would be ready the next day, but if I needed it they could still get it done the day I asked for it. That tells me that they have the drug, but they're making an excuse not to get it done on the day it was promised! Basically I'm being lied to. Something else the app does is automatically enroll you in an auto-refill program if you're not careful. It has done that to me more than once, and I just have to let the prescription sit there because I'm not ready for it. Then I get an email that the medication has put back into their supplies, which is fine with me because I never ordered it! When I am notified about prescriptions being ready, it comes piecemeal. Bad process. If one or two prescriptions are ready, that would imply to most people that ALL are ready -- which is never the case. Again, at least one or two are never ready when they say they will be. I gave my feedback to a general manager at that store, and they said they would have someone contact me. I'm not surprised no one ever did do that. If this wasn't the HEB I shopped at regularly for groceries I would never return here for my prescriptions. Then again I should consider going to a CVS that's right across the street from me. I am not surprised at the low average number of stars this place gets. The staff have always been nice enough. I do need to say that. But it's not enough to save this pharmacy from the mediocrity of its service.
