Despite having the doctor write on my prescription that I need a certain kind ( I have bad reactions to certain manufactures), I am given a different manufacturer every single time. Every month I am given the run around and once even lied to. One lady told another lady (loud enough for me to hear it) that "It's better for their bottom line" if she can get me to take a certain brand name. So, the lady "helping" me came back to the window and said they didn't have the brand I needed in stock. Even though I had told her I had bad reactions to the other manufacturers. I went home and called and a different tech confirmed they in fact had that brand in stock that day. I have horrible side effects to these meds and made it known, but they don't care. It is one of the only places that stocks the brand I can take. Today, I was told it was filled and went to pick ip up and filled, again with wrong brand, and it's given me horrible side effects just like the rest. Big surprise. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on ME. *I have officially transferred all prescriptions out, deleted accounts, cancelled all rewards associated with this corporation. 8.1.24 I had an unfortunate encounter with a CVS employee claiming to be the store manager at the CVS Cedar Park, TX (store 4186). As an experienced retail manager I understand the importance of coaching, in the moment feedback, and always on the look out for an opportunity for development. The depraved manner this CVS team member behaved was lacking all moral decency. First and foremost I was at the Pharmacy counter asking the Pharmacists questions regarding my medication - therefore the conversation contained sensitive information, and needed to be handled with a certain level of privacy. CaSarah maliciously crossed all set boundaries and confidentiality when it came to PHI and HIPAA. Customers of CVS shouldn't be worried their private medical information will be used against them, obtained and/or shared due to staff curiosity. Absolutely sickening to take advantage of the accessibility given to an employee depending on their role within the medical industry. I will be reporting this privacy incident with Texas Health & Human Services and filing a HIPAA complaint with HHS.gov -guests and customers should know that their private information is not safe or protected at CVS. read more

I never write reviews. I know life is tough and you never know what someone is going through, so giving them the benefit of the doubt when they act rudely is my default setting. That being said, I have never been spoken to in the manner that this Pharmacy Manager used today. I am a medical professional and she called to ask for additional information for a prescription for my client that was trying to fill an important medication. She was so rude, she cut me off, and she threatened to refuse to fill my client's medication all because she was asking for information that was not needed to legally fill this prescription. All I can say is until management changes, I'm not surprised this location has so many bad reviews. Employees learn from their supervisors, and I'm sure they all act like this. read more

do not send your medications here. the pharmacy techs are incredibly lazy, will send you away when one extra step such as typing in an address can get you your prescription. the manager is equally lazy and on top of that rude. she told me I was reading numbers wrong on my card when she had already taken my card physically multiple times. she couldn't find my profile told me to call my insurance who gave me the exact same numbers on my card to give and had the correct address on file. at the end when I wanted to use a good rx coupon the managing pharmacist was rushing me out. I went ahead and paid full price, but seriously will not be sending any more medications of my own or my patients to this pharmacy if there is a choice. it took me an hour to get my prescription that had already been filled since yesterday. read more

I am finally switching pharmacies because I've had it with the place. Second time I've been told my script was filled either via text or phone and first time caught an attitude with the usual chick who hates her life claiming "oh it was for other meds not this one" I tried to say no it literally said what the medication was that was ready for pick up but she rudely walked away denying it. Today, after I was told yesterday it was filled, I waited in line for 20 min and then same rude chick at the window claims she doesn't see anything to pick up. She went to check another computer and said I needed to do the mail in BS but I already told the pharmacist I was doing pick up and would pay for it and she told me she filled it for me. So she comes back saying oh it's gonna be 15-20 min to be filled. Sorry but I wouldn't have wasted my time waiting in the long line just to be told it's not ready yet after I was already told it was ready. Good bye cvs! Unfortunately, not one of the better CVS outlets. While it's rare that I go here, the times I have are underwhelming. Until recently, the aisles aren't cleared promptly for restocking (post COVID-19, they're just empty as often as not). Store is oddly laid out, and the employees are pretty curt. Finally, I'm lucky that I don't get my prescriptions here. I've seen the line go back into the aisles more than once, and even heard them getting into arguments with the customers! Based on all the above, I'd recommend a different branch if you can get to one. read more

Worst CVS ever, I wish 0 stars was an option. My infant daughter and I contracted Covid so I went to get some mucinex and other supplies. I went to ask the pharmacist if the medicine was okay for me to take since I was breastfeeding. He was so rude, telling me that they were closed and he was on the phone. When I asked him the question, he told me to read the package. Well, the package says to ask a physician....so much for a "doctor" actually helping someone minutes after the pharmacy closes. I waited forever at the front for someone to help me get the extra Covid tests I ordered for pickup and they wouldn't give me Advil because it's inside the pharmacy that was closed. read more

I was shocked at how rude and disrespectful the CVS pharmacy staff was regarding a pickup of syringes for my diabetic cat. Let me preface this by saying I have gone to this CVS since it opened and the staff has always been friendly, helpful and caring. The tech and pharmacist today I've never seen and will never again because I will not be back. If there is a policy in place that perhaps no one has followed previously then by all means I will be happy to adjust. However with a condescending mean spirited "that's the policy" you both perhaps could use some customer service skills. I had 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled today at 8:15 am, I asked for my prescriptions to be sent to this CVS location as it was close to me. The first time I went in after getting teeth pulled we were given an attitude by a staff member saying we don't got it. She told us to pull around which we did so she could help the two cars behind, and then told again they don't have any prescriptions. We came back a second time the same staff member looked very annoyed that we were back, and the other staff member said there still isn't a medication ready. I tried to call the pharmacy multiple times and couldn't speak to anyone. It's 4:32 pm and I still don't have my medications post-operative surgery, I am not one to type a bad review, but if you need medication filled do not come here. It was very disheartening to get treated with disrespect after getting 4 teeth pulled. If I could give zero stars I most certainly would. I will never use a CVS, or a Walgreen's pharmacy unless absolutely necessary. This place was a big waste of time. Instead of resting comfortably after surgery I had to call the doctors office and have them send it to a different pharmacy. read more

CVS at 1950 Bagdad Road has become really poor to deal with in the pharmacy. Prescriptions not ready, meds out of stock and they don't notify you. It's near impossible to actually get a pharmacist on the phone to actually get answers as to why RX's aren't refilling. Our insurance basically forces us to use CVS and it's disappointing that this location has gone down hill this bad. Prior to COVID it was actually a pretty good pharmacy to deal with. Find another CVS or another pharmacy altogether. read more

I scheduled a flu shot for this morning at 10:30 using their available times scheduling on their website. I picked the earliest time and arrived a little early checking in electronically as I was walking through the store. After waiting for the clerk to end a phone call, she took my info and then directed me to get in line. I couldn't see a line until I walked over two aisles. There were eight people waiting ahead of me. I went back to the clerk explaining that I had chosen the earliest time and wondering how so many people could already be in line since I had chosen the first time available. (The scheduler showing times available has times fifteen minutes apart.) The clerk said "We take twenty four appointments per hour. So what is the benefit of the scheduler ? I left . I called our health provider, Baylor, Scott & White in Cedar Park and was told to come right in, no appointment necessary. I was about to move all my prescriptions to this CVS but forget that. read more

I generally don't make a habit of shopping at CVS or Walgreens for that matter because there are so many things in there that I will buy impulsively and that actually cost more than if I was going to buy them at a regular grocery store. (Retirement = Budget!!! Killjoy.) Anyhow my insurance has determined that CVS is my preferred provider. (My husband has used them for a couple years now without complaints.) This particular CVS location in Leander is organized pretty much like all CVS locations-which I appreciate as I will eventually grasp the pattern of what is where versus wandering through the store. It's very clean and tidy. The people in the pharmacy department were very helpful and assisted me in determining that a coupon that I wanted to use for one of my medications that is very costly could indeed be used there saving me several hundred dollars. The pharmacy area of the store is quite large with separate places to turn prescriptions in, have a consultation with the pharmacist or pick up your prescriptions. I've seen this model at most pharmacies now due to HIPPA regulation but at CVS it's really spread out so doesn't feel crowded or cluttered. I stayed out of the Easter section by choice this time! I did tour the hair and make-up department while waiting for my rx. They advised it might be 15" but it was 5" at most. Very expedited service I'd say. I did pick up a couple necessities and checked out up front where a very nice young lady assisted me. I had a good experience at this location and would certainly recommend it. read more

The pharmacy staff here is so RUDE!! I went in to get my prescription and they had filled it with a generic. Okay but I've been taking this medicine for literally 5+ years and have never had this generic brand before. So I want to ask some questions about it. The tech basically rolls her eyes and yells at the pharmacist, "lady wants information about generics." He comes over and just looks at me like "What?" I explain the above situation and he says in a bored flat voice it's the same thing ma'am. It just annoyed me. I'm allowed to ask questions right? The first time I went in, and the pace is in such great shape, well stocked and so clean. this past weekend, I needed some prescriptions filled. I am shocked at my experience at the CVS drive-thru. I signed up online for a PCR COVID test. My scheduled time was 4:30 and I was in line at that time. There were two cars in front of me, it took around 25 minutes for the other two cars to be serviced. Once I reached the window I told the employee that I was there for a COVID test that was scheduled at 4:30. The person was very condescending and told me that since I was 30 minutes late to my appointment, my appointment was canceled. I explained that I was on time for my appointment but I followed the directions stated when I signed up for my appointment to "wait in my car" in the drive-thru line. I asked if there was anything I could do to get tested, since I was in direct contact with someone that tested positive, the person at the window just kept calling me "buddy" and saying there was nothing that could be done. I understand that it may have been due to the system that my appointment was canceled. However, I feel like the employee could have done something to help me get tested instead of just repeating the phrase "sorry buddy there is nothing I can do." Luckily I was able to find a Curative testing site in Round Rock. If you need to get COVID testing, I recommend finding a Curative testing site or going anywhere else but here! read more

I always go here to get my prescriptions filled. They are always timely and efficient and the associates there always have a smile. As a suggestion, go inside to pick up and drop off your prescriptions, the drive-thru line always seems to be backed up. And a little trick, you don't have to sign up for a CVS card to actually get the discounts like you do at Walgreens. Just tell them you don't have one and the associate will use there's, you'll never pay regular retail. The same for the pharmacy. If there is any coupons for prescription meds, they'll always find them and apply. I'd recommend this location for your pharmacy and quick shopping needs. read more

My girlfiend asked me to stop at CVS to get a hair conditioner. We were on the way to tale a walk at a local Memorial Park. Then there was a CVS on the right, we stopped and found her conditioner, then even better we found clearance wine! We get to check out, the clerk says there is a limmit 6 bottles per customer. I looked back at the clearance cart and in fack limmit 6 ottles is written in black marker. So she has 6 wines and her conditioner, i have 6. Bottles. The clerk says you are together so you can only buy 6 bottles combined. I said that doesnt make sense, then he talks down to us and gives attitude. I said "you are the face od CVS" he rrsponded with a comment like "no im not"l. I left, then he refused to sell my girlfriend any wine or her conditioner. He told her to leave.
