Good people at the store but the pharmacy is woefully understaffed. Many perspirations have to be delivered from Dallas for a 2 to 3 day lead time. I have to ask myself why I get a prescription here and have to wait 2 days when I could get it overnight from Amazon. read more

I was recently in this store to pick up photo prints of me and my new baby (9/9/25). I worked with Jonathan who helped me for a while to resolve an issue with the smart photoshop tool in the app that wasn't working. He was very helpful, incredibly patient, and determined to resolve the issue I was having. He ended up coming up with a creative solution and sent me away as an extremely happy customer. He's great, give him a huge raise and cash bonus! :) read more

Walgreens should have more employees like Ms. Angela. Very helpful and friendly. One young lady at the check out not so friendly.

Absolutely terrible Customer Service the Indian guy at the medicine counter was yelling at me and all I wanted was my medicine because I just had mouth surgery on my lower draw and he told me that if I was in pain to go to a hospital and that there was nothing he could do for me. Do not waste your time here. read more

the biggest issue with this location is how frequently short staffed they are. my past several visits to this location, there has only been TWO employees running everything. that's absolutely outrageous. i don't mind a wait, i've worked in customer service for a while so i get how it is, but these poor employees CANNOT be making nearly enough to deal with all of the areas MOST IMPATIENT people i have ever seen. PLEASE, i BEG, staff this store and pay these poor people PROPER. they are so so sweet every time i come in and i can tell how absolutely exhausted they are having to run back and forth. they are doing their BEST and it somehow isn't enough. read more

The pharmacy was so busy and they were short staffed. Normally this would be a recipe for disaster, but the tech and pharmacist (only 2 people working with what seemed like 5-8 people waiting) kept a great attitude and provided excellent service. I would have been very stressed out in their shoes, and for them to be able to keep their cool, smile, and be friendly goes a long way. 5 stars for the pharmacy staff! read more

Have not once had a positive experience with this walgreens, I only come here because it's close by but not after today. I had to pick up a prescription, I waited 20 minutes in the drive through line. When I got to the window I found out my prescription would cost 60$, I asked if they had used my insurance and they hadn't. Once added it went down to 49$, so I planned to use a good rx coupon. I went to show it to the employee and she said they didn't take coupons at the drive through anymore. I turned my car back on and let her know I'd come inside to show her the coupon (ridiculous already) and she was like "Um no you can't do that" and I was like "Sorry? Is there a reason why not?" and she informed me they were closed now. It was 5 minutes before the pharmacy actually closed. She refused to take my coupon, use the card on file, figure out why the insurance wasn't covering more of the cost. She was perfectly polite with me until I mentioned that my prescription may be under my legal name instead of my preferred name (I'm a trans man, so she didn't understand why I was unsure of which name the prescription was under) The exact same employee I had issues with last time when I attempted to refill a prescription for my hormone replacement therapy. I had those moved to CVS. Avoid this walgreens, they're not worth the time. If I could give them zero stars I would. read more

A new store manager took over my local store recently and it has gone downhill fast. They employees try but you can see they are frustrated and morale is low. They are short handed pretty much everyday and as a regular I know and speak to some of them. Employees are late, the same 2 or 3 with no repercussions. The new manager is rude and a bigot. Just hate to see the place fall apart. The asm is still friendly but stressed out. I hope things turn around but I fear they won't. read more

Like someone else said, the pharmacy here is a joke, they are so slow and inconsiderate, if there is an issue ask the person to walk inside instead of trying to handle it on the drive thru for 25 minutes! I was trapped between cars and couldn't leave. Next time in the drive thru same thing, prescription isn't ready so make everyone wait while they get it ready for 20 minutes. These people have zero co On sense. I'll be moving my prescription to a more competent location. read more

Walgreens - a bottle of flea and tick spray next to a towel - Drugstores Near Me - Austin, Texas

There is no option to give them zero. Very very bad customer service even the manger is rude.

If I could give them zero stars, I would!!! With this crazy ice storm, we desperately needed a handicap bedside toilet for my sister in law. Her wheelchair won't fit through the door of our bathrooms. I called several other Walgreens and they were out of stock. This Walgreens closes at 10 and we thought our problem was solved because they had it in stock. My husband was on his way and literally arrived at 10:02. They told me on the phone that the manager said they can't stay open past 10pm and they wouldn't wait for him. I told them my sister in law would have to stay at a hotel (doubtful any had space because so many others have left their homes with the power outages in their neighborhood). My husband drove up honking and ran to the door. The heartless employee locked the door in his face and walked away!!! Talk about zero care for their customers!!! I'm done shopping here!!! read more

Very friendly, online Order is extremely fast. Thank you.

This review primarily pertains to the pharmacy. They are incredibly slow and seemingly always behind. Their drive-thru is a joke. You'd be better served in having your physician mail you your prescriptions USPS. They have worse lines than Chik-Fil-A. I could get a medical degree and synthesize my own medicines faster than this. And this is with my waiting 2-3 hours after the prescription is submitted. I'm not waiting on the order to be ready, I'm waiting for these dimwits to wake up from their naps. The interior of the store is clean and the employees are friendly. As I said, this just pertains to the habitual poor service in the pharmacy. read more

My friends husband was denied his gender affirming medication today. The pharmacist refused to give her name or license information. The Texas pharmacy board states that if you are uncomfortable filling a medication, you are to have a different pharmacist do it. She REFUSED. She not only broke her oath, but made someone feel like their life didn't matter. She should be ashamed of herself and so should the Walgreens representative who is refusing to cooperate. read more

Transferred all my prescriptions to a different pharmacy chain because this was the 4th one I had problems with threw Walgreens. This was in July so I was surprised when my new pharmacy would not refill my 3 month medication because my insurance said it was already filled. They said to check with my old pharmacy or call my insurance. Called here and got the rudest women who clearly had better things to do then her job. Lots of sighs and attitude she said I had not picked up anything from them since July and she can't help me. No sympathy no have a nice day so short with me I was asking another question trying to figure this out and she just said I don't know try your insurance again. So I did and in 3min they confirmed this location filled this proscription twice in the same day even though I only picked up one. So clearly if she did her job she would have seen that or she just did not want to admit that once again they messed up. Maybe there is something shady going on with these double refills I don't know but this was one of the many reasons I life. Rude, shady, closed for weeks at a time, lost information read more

To be honest, I'm only leaving a review because after reading some of these I have to say... I've been coming to this location at least once a week and have never had any issues. During Covid times I had employees help me find what I needed and despite thier stress they kept it honest with me about availability.. I think some of y'all have never worked a service industry job and it shows blatantly when you aren't served quick fast and in a hurry with a smile to boot. All I am saying is this: the staff here is down to earth and wiling to help as long as you don't come in acting like a Karen or Ken. I love this Walgreens and will go to bat for em' anytime! read more

The pharmacy at this location is a complete disaster and it's all because of the female pharmacist. The male pharmacy manager is kind, calm, and can manage a pharmacy when he is present. The female pharmacist is a whirling dervish of incompetency. I have had prescriptions that I physically dropped off lost at this location. I have had them randomly switch my 90-day prescription to a 30-day prescription without telling me until I try to pick it up. Then it takes them thirty minutes to get the extra 60-days worth of pre-boxed and packaged medicine off the shelf. Her "consults" consist of "Hi, you've taken this before, right? Thanks!", without even giving you time to ask questions. Why you would trust her answers anyway is beyond me. Don't waste your time here. There are better locations all over town. read more

Don't ever visit here or you will be sorry! There's always a long line, the prices often do not align with what is posted or is in the ad, and some of the cashiers are rude. I have just made it a point to skip this one and go to the nearby one on McNeil. read more

Disclaimer: I have no problem with the store as a whole but the Pharmacy is such a joke I've got to drop to one star. I'm sorry to the other staff at this location who don't really deserve it but Walgreens has GOT to get it's act together. How are they still in business? Pharmacy nonsense: This place has been well below average but I kept coming back because I got a substantial discount on something that's usually quite expensive. They're generally unresponsive, hard to get on the phone, and just very slow. You had to be IN the store to get any kind of interaction. I really don't have time or energy to babysit other people's businesses. Then, to sort of cap off my affiliation with this place, an interaction with some insane woman behind the counter, evidently a Pharmacist. I say this only because she was supposed to be counselling me on my prescription but only went on and on about how the meds I was taking here something that her grandfather took, that it was all fine, and that I already knew all the effects (didn't ask and I really didn't know). I was laughing at her oddity until I got out of the store and realized "oh yeah my health isn't a @#$%ing joke." Needless to say, it turns out when I got home it had some very exciting side effects. --- Again, the rest of the store is fine. Generally good experiences and I liked coming here. read more

I was pleasantly shocked at the service provided. The manager simply noticed me looking for toothpaste (I had purchased the wrong kind) and asked if she could help. The toothpaste I was looking for wasn't there and I said no problem, I can deal with what I have. She said "no-please pick out whichever you like and we'll exchange it at no charge" She didn't have to do that and it caught me by surprise - over toothpaste. Truly great customer service. Above and beyond expectations. read more

Customer service is VERY poor. They do not listen to anything you have to say so you are constantly repeating yourself. The male pharmacist who works a lot in the evenings is VERY kind as well as one of the male techs who works during the day. Anyone else in the pharmacy is hard to communicate with. I have had to return multiple times for their mistakes. I even had a younger female tech disrespect me. The CSRs upfront are appropriate however the whole pharmacy experience has ruined it for me. Updating to three stars. They seem to be doing better lately. read more

I got my whoopingg cough shot yesterday by David the pharmacist. It didn't hurt a bit! Thank you David!

They saved me money on meds using the CarityRX card.

Great staff, especially at the pharmacy. They are ALL very patient and very nice. One of the pharmacist even noticed that I was new to the area and offered some recommendation on doctors. There is never more than 2-3 mn of waiting time at the drive thru. The parking is clean and the location is very convenient. read more

Store manager was very rude and did not know prices of products. A product would not ring up and when I informed the cashier and store manager that I found it in the clearance section the store manager had no idea what I was talking about and just made up a price and said it was $14.99 since it was not ringing up with any price at all even though there were several of the same product on the clearance section for $1.99. He just said that they were all misplaced. As a store manager he should have fixed the issue instead of just making up a number. read more

I love my little local walgreens. they know me and I know them! yes they are extremely busy, however they go the extra mile to make sure you get what you need, whether it is an insurance issue, faxing the dr for refills or giving excellent recommendations. I used to stop at this Walgreens all the time on the way home from work. It was just easy to grab a couple of quick grocery items instead of navigating the packed warehouse that is HEB. But after dealing with their rude employee, I'll find another convenient stop and avoid this place altogether. I stopped in on a day I wasn't planning to, and I didn't have my reusable bags with me. I bought several things, and when I asked for a bag, the cashier simply looked at me and said, "This is Austin." Because apparently after 15 years of living here, I've forgotten the name of my city??? So I asked again, and she proceeded to tell me that Austin banned bags. Not true at all. Austin banned cheap plastic bags and the flimsy paper bags with no handles. Walgreens knows this. That's why every other Walgreens in town has paper bags with handles, and they don't look at me like I'm crazy if I need one. In fact, I don't even have to ask -- they just bag up my stuff like they care about customer service. This Walgreens doesn't have bags at all. Now, if they're trying to cut costs or save trees or whatever, I'm fine with that. What I'm not fine with is the cashier's attitude and her response to me. A civil answer would have been, "Sorry, we don't have bags since the bag ban went into effect." I would have been annoyed, but I wouldn't have blamed her. So yes, if you don't know what city you're in, go to this Walgreens. They'll be sure to let you know where you are. What they won't do is treat you like they want you to ever come back. read more

This is the closest drug store to my house, so it's the clearest option to use for the prescriptions I take that must be refilled every month. Sadly, this Walgreens is home to the slowest pharmacy I've ever encountered. With only 2 or 3 people ahead of me in line (both inside or in at the drive thru) I have regularly waited over a half an hour (and several times over 40 minutes) to pick up prescriptions. Giving them one more chance this month and then I'm switching to HEB. read more

I don't understand all the negative reviews for this Walgreens. I've been coming here for two years and it's by far my favorite pharmacy. The pharmacists are incredibly nice and go above and beyond to help with whatever you need. So often I've been checking out and the pharmacist will realize that there is discount card that makes a medication cheaper than my insurance so he/she will go back and redo my prescription barcode etc so that I get the best deal possible--without my saying a word! One time I was buying some skincare products along with my prescription and the pharmacist even called and asked the makeup counter for a coupon for one of the Olay Regenerist products for me. They have tracked down doctors for me late on Friday after the doctors had left the office. They have helped me problem-solve when I needed a medication and neither they nor I could reach my doctor for the weekend. They just truly go above and beyond. Plus they are friendly and knowledgable. I always leave feeling the pharmacists here care. They're really exceptional. Some of the pharmacy techs are SO nice too. There is one woman in particular who is so bubbly and kind to everyone. The managers are also friendly and remarkably helpful. As one person already described in her review, the managers always ask if they can help you and they are eager to do whatever they can for you. One of the regular store checkout guys is also so nice and chats with me for a second every time I see him. It's just really a quality place. If you want to go to a pharmacy where you're just a number and they don't give a crap about you, yeah it might go a little faster. I personally think it's worth the extra two minutes to go to a pharmacy where they know my name (and often the names of the customers before/after me too) and where they give so much attention and care to each person who comes through the door. It's the kind of quality customer care that my parents talk about missing because, unfortunately, it hardly exists anymore. I know it's weird to be so enthusiastic about a pharmacy, but I love this Walgreens. I hope they don't ever change. Highly recommended. read more

I went to buy a six-pack and 2 waters here with my gf. "Doug" at the counter asks to see both our IDs. I asked why that was necessary since she was not buying anything. He says it's because "she's with you". I try to ask what he does in situations with, say, a parent and a kid, but he rudely barks at me, cutting me off mid-sentence, repeating his non-argument: "BECAUSE SHE'S WITH YOU". (We are in our thirties and twenties. This wasn't hoodlum 18 year olds trying to pass off fake IDs.) His name tag stated, "manager", which made his insulting behavior all the more astounding and inappropriate. read more

I went in to the pharmacy as a cash pay customer just after leaving a doctor visit. I had three prescriptions and was intending to pay whatever the bill was, hopefully the least possible for generics. The pharmacist and her associates went way above and beyond what I expected. Without me asking, she said can you use your phone to look up coupons. I did what she asked, then she asked if she could see and use the phone to get the codes. She took her time looking for the best prices for all three prescriptions. Not only were the employees kind and did their job, they went past any and all expectations. Thank you very much to the crew in the pharmacy! read more

Good, always clean, very nice assistant manager, helpful people, busy place, good pharmacists.

Stopped off for beer on the way home and was amazed at how clean the store was. The manager (the actual store manager, not some lackey) was running the second register and he just exhuded humor and laughter. It was getting cloudy outside and he asked me if I needed an umbrella for the rain that was coming. I asked how he knew it was going to rain and he shrugged and said even if it doesn't rain at least I would have a snazzy umbrella. Priceless! read more
