Consistently under filled medications 3 times now. At this point I have to consider it an intentionally malicious act. I've literally counted in my car a medication that is once a day, and gotten 20 where it should've been 30. I had to go back in. I've tried to support this small, local business through these errors but I think anyone could understand that it's often impossible to get a refill before your meds are scheduled to run out this many times in a row, as your doctor will assume negative of you and your intentions. Two scripts were sent here (for one of my children). The script that was "more of a specialty type" was in stock and filled that day. The script that was a common-place cream wasn't in stock and needed to be ordered-it came in the next day and if desired could have been delivered to my house. Everyone from the pharmacist on is extremely nice and the store is very well stocked. You can tell this is a great place for Adult facilities to bring shoppers, also I was pleased to see a small selection of homeopathic and essential oil remedies. This is also a Compounding Pharmacy-I'm not sure if the compounding is done right there, but most compounds require at least 48 hours to process. There is no drive thru-normally not a big deal, however I was picking up a $5 script today in the rain...possibly should have had it delivered but I was nearby. Thank you for your care. Texan Pharmacy on Wyoming Springs Dr. in Round Rock, Texas is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with! I've been waiting for a certain medicine to come back in stock. I called about a month ago to tell them I wanted to get my medicine filled when it comes in. They assured me I would get a text when it comes in. I never got a text. I called today to see if it had come in yet. Sure enough it was in and the awful pharmacy techs never even responded with a text to fill my medicine. When I called I was told it would be filled today and I would get a text when it was ready. I asked how much it would be and they told me a certain price. I waited for a few hours and it was getting close to closing and I still had not heard from them so I called to see if it was ready for pickup. The lady that answered was very rude and needs to be fired. She told me it was ready and a completely different price than I was told a few hours ago. When I questioned the price because I was told a few hours ago it would be one thing and now they were saying another price, she got even more rude. She didn't even say sorry for confusion one time. Just wanted to be the worst customer rep ever. Telling me not to yell at her when I wasn't even yelling. I was just telling her I was told it would be a different price. Instead of getting her manager on the phone to explain the issue like she should have, she just tells me it was that price and hangs up on me. I had to call back and ask to speak with a manager. He was nice enough to give me the original price and explain what the deal was after I complained for a while. It took much complaining to get them to honor the price they quoted me. I appreciate that but, the way I was treated the first time on the phone was unacceptable. Then when I went in 20 minutes later to pick up, the women in there were all snickering. The crazy lady that I spoke with that hung up on me was there just making snickering noises like huh at every little thing that was being said while I was being checked out with some other lady. The lady that checked me out was trying to be nice. The other crazy lady was the rudest lady I've ever dealt with and she was doing this right in front of the manager that I spoke with on the phone and two feet away from my face. It was so difficult to not say something to her rudeness. I kept my cool!! This is the worst customer service at a pharmacy that I've ever had. Texan Pharmacy needs to hire more polite workers and better train them to not talk crap to customers two feet from their face. Walgreens is so much better than this. I will take my medical purchases to Walgreens next time. That was not the first time I've had such rude customer service at this pharmacy. They obviously don't care who they hire. Most of the women that work there are obviously ignorant fools that shouldn't have been hired in the first place. Get better standards on customer service Texan Pharmacy!! read more

Texan nearly cost me a few hundred dollars due to their oversight. My prescription requires me to acquire it within a very narrow window after my doctor appointment. Otherwise, I need to restart my medication entirely, which requires a series of tests and a pricey doctor's examination. On Thursday, Texan promised me that they would deliver my prescription the next day (Friday). No word from them at all until I called Monday morning. Apparently, they misplaced (or forgot about) my prescription, but promised that it would be delivered later that day. Then I received notice that evening that Texan selected a third party that will deliver it Tuesday, two days outside of my medication timeline. Thankfully, I was able to get an exception from my provider this time, but I will never use Texan again. On previous deliveries, they would enter the wrong address and I would have to make multiple phone calls to get it corrected. For the amount of money I paid, there shouldn't be so many frequent hiccups. If you want reliable service, look elsewhere. read more

I'm very concerned with the lack of competency from this pharmacy. I had one compound prescription called in by doctor #1 for a sinus infection. It took 3 weeks and a second call to to get it filled. At this point why bother taking it? Glad you are focused on patient wellness (that's sarcasm). Then prescription 2 from doctor 2 had a communication gap because I had no idea it was coming from a Texan Pharmacy. When the pharmacy called and told me my compound was ready I told them I picked it up already. Turns out that was a total miscommunication. Doctor 2 calls the compound prescription in again and when I picked it up using curbside pick-up I was told the Amount I owed was $124.06 which I paid. I got my prescription and left. When I got home the label said the amount "Due $55.00". Ummmm what?!?! So I called. The girl who answered was clueless so she transferred me. I got a total refund on this because there is no way I trust the competency of the employees at this pharmacy. If you can't read a label to take the correct payment I'm assuming everyone around you is in the same bubble of incompetency and the cream that was made may burn my skin off. I'm not willing to be your test guinea pig. My biggest concern - are you doing this with all prescriptions? Is this some form of theft/embezzlement? Are all employees this incompetent? What about people on fixed incomes? Are the compound specialists actually mixing the medicines correctly? For me, the risk of doing business with you outweighs any possible gain. I've directed my doctor to send all prescriptions to People's Pharmacy who is far more knowledgeable and has never made any errors like this when I've dealt with them. Finally, when I called the doctors office they said they have been hearing complaints about Texan Pharmacy from other patients and now I see why. Have your prescriptions filled elsewhere. People's makes compound medicines and they have a higher level of competency. read more

They basically don' t care! They don't follow through and get you your medications. If you live in a rural area and their automated system can't recognize your USPS address, then you are done! Your prescription will sit there because you can't go through their system, that doesn't work. Hateful girls in the office. The pharmacist is over worked and doesn't care. There was a gentleman waiting and one of the ladies behind the counter continued to literally yell out loud "We've got a waiter, we've got a waiter!", a "waiter"? Your customers don't deserve the common courtesy of not embarrassing them in front of the whole store? In addition to that 1) the price I paid was 1.5 times the price I was quoted and 2) I had to ask twice to speak to a pharmacist (this was a brand new med for me) and I probably would've been more informed had I Googled my question. I find it laughable that they are so concerned about masking in their store (which is fine w me) yet that was honestly the filthiest pharmacy I have ever been to. Will I be going back? This past week, during a massive cold snap that left millions of Texans without power and/or water for several days, I found myself on the brink of an Rx refill emergency. I tried for a few days to get through to Walgreens and CVS, but couldn't get anyone on the phone at the locations closest to me, and the roads were a dangerous, icy mess. Having taken my last remaining dose, I drove to both of those pharmacies, and they were indeed closed. On the way home, I spotted some cars parked outside a small building and noticed it had an Rx sign. It was almost 5:30 pm and there were no other businesses open in sight. I pulled into the parking lot, saw the red neon OPEN sign on, and people inside. I went in and explained my predicament to the pharmacist, who was only still there because they were trying to clean up damage from a burst water pipe. He was more than happy to help. He gave me a couple days worth of medicine so I wouldn't have to go without until my regular pharmacy opened back up. The anxiety that had been building over the last few days over potentially having to stop my important daily med cold turkey melted away. I've had to pick up a couple of prescriptions and I've had really bad experiences. I had a really bad bacterial infection and I needed the medication right away. My doctor told me that the pharmacist will contact me later in the day and can deliver the medication to my home by the following day. I never received the phone call from them. I called them the following day, and the receptionist informed me that they will work on the medication today and will have it ready by the morning of the following day. Since I never received a confirmation that my prescription was ready, I called them AGAIN the following morning on Friday. The receptionist informed me that the medication was not ready yet, and will be ready by 3pm. I called them AGAIN at 3pm, and the new receptionist informed me that it will not be ready until next TUESDAY (4 days after). At this point, I'm having worsening symptoms everyday from the untreated bacterial infection. When I finally complained to the receptionist about the situation, they got it ready in 2 hrs... The pharmacist informed me that the medication will last me one month... after 3 weeks, I ran out of the medication. When I called them, they realized that they had only made 3 weeks worth, instead of 1 month that was requested by the doctor.. they filled out the meds right away and delivered to my home the following day. Fast track 2 months later, I had a prescription sent over from a different doctor. The doctor informed me that the pharmacist should call me by the end of the day. They never called, of course. I called them the following day (Friday) and the receptionist informed me that they needed more information about my insurance in order for them to process the meds. I complained that they should have contacted me as soon as they realized they needed more information, and not wait for me to call to check in. I have a strong feeling that my meds would not have been processed if I hadn't called.. Apparently, I'm going to have to wait another 4days for them to process my insurance and work on my meds... that is a total of 6 days since they actually received the medication request from my doctor. Overall, they seem very disorganized and doesn't seem to get to your medication until you call and complain that it's taking too long for them to work on it. It's exhausting to continue to call and check up when they should be the one to call you. It's also hurtful that they are not considering the symptoms their patients are experiencing and continue to experience as they wait for the medications to get filled.. Next time my doctors attempt to send my meds to this pharmacy due to their "recommendations" that they are cheaper/make unique formulas, I would definitely deny and go with a different pharmacy. read more

I've only been to this pharmacy once before, however today when I went in the pharmacist helping me with my prescription kept taking her mask off to TALK to people. As her working at a pharmacy, I was shocked. Wearing a mask not only protects yourself, but prevents you from spreading germs to other people. COVID-19 is going to continue to spread if we do not protect ourselves, so I certainly did not feel safe picking up my prescription. read more

I was out of town and my husband was at home with a family member who left (although) they told me that they would be there. My husband needed medication and we needed it tonight. I called the pharmacy and inquired about their delivery and requirements for delivery. They said they would deliver for free but could not delivery until tomorrow. I asked what time and while getting the information one of the pharmacy employees said that she lived near me and would bring the medication to my husband tonight after she got off. This pharmacy is amazing and goes above and beyond what any pharmacy does. Corporate pharmacies pay attention ! I have never in my life encountered a pharmacy that actually cared about the patient. I had a prescription written by the doctor on the 13th, they never called to setup delivery and payment so I called the 17th and they charged my card said it would be delivered. Never got it so I called again on the 21st and was told it would be delivered that day. Never received. Called again the 22nd (A Saturday), told it would be delivered that day never received. I finally called on Monday the 24th and told them to cancel the prescription and refund my money that I would find someone else that could actually get it to me and it was delivered Monday. If they were having trouble with delivery they just had to tell me and I would have gone to pick it up. I will not use them in the future. read more

This new pharmacy on Wyoming Springs is close to my Stone Canyon neighborhood. Going to this pharmacy is like having a small town doctor who cares. He calls your doctor personally to make sure you should be taking the prescribed medications. He also waits to fill your prescription until at or after it's due to be filled just to be extra careful and diligent - even if it's not covered by insurance. Excellent prices. This matters to me because we have a very high deductible. I had no idea the big pharmacies were charging so much. I checked the GoodRx website and it showed how much a good pharmacy can save me. read more
