Today I came to this HEB as my normal HEB pharmacy did not carry the Rx I required (my normal HEB sent me to this location). I arrived at 4:20 PM and waited in the line designated for dropping off prescriptions. However, there appeared to be another 'make shift' line for pickup orders. The HEB employee who was working the drop-off line shifted as I approached the counter to drop off my Rx to the pickup line and proceeded take 3 customers who arrived after me in line. When the employee finally came back to my line it was 4:44 PM. On an aside, had I not said anything, the employee was going to take yet a 4th customer another in-front of me again in the drop off line. I am a frequent customer of HEB. However, I will not return to this HEB pharmacy because of lack of organization and customer service.

Heyyyyyy guys. You open?

Wow, HEB, you've got some issues here. Read the other reviews. They are spot on. Every time they look up my insurance they tell me I don't have insurance....I don't have insurance...while I'm holding my insurance card in my hand....HEB knows best of course. I wish there was an HEB plus closer to my house. This pharmacy is the worst!!!

The beautiful view from the drive through.

Slowest drive through EVER! If there is even 1 car on front of you, you'll be waiting at least 10-15 minutes.......

I've been to other cvs' and the staff just seems annoyed and unwilling to help! I get so frustrated. I'd rather go to this one and get rain checks if they don't have the products I'm looking for. They do run out of stuff very fast but I just come back when they restock. They are awesome! I can't say the same for the actual pharmacy, I get my prescriptions sent there all the time just because it's convenient but my last experience was HORRIBLE. I called in the prescription because I was being released from the hospital with my newborn so a few hours later I think my prescription must be ready so I get there and the pharmacist tells me that my insurance declined paying for the prescription and I need to call them. So I'm wondering why he never bothered to call me and tell me that. Anyway I call and get it all sorted out and come back and he says it will be about 15 min. I wait and go back. He still hasn't heard from my insurance so I have to wait 15 more min. At this point I'm so frustrated and my husband goes and tells him we have called the insurance twice and they have confirmed coverage so what is the hold up and he says ok let me call. He calls and everything is clear about 2 hours later. Great waste of time!

Unfortunately, I have encountered the same employee on more than one occasion when needing assistance at the counter, and each interaction has been marked by an unnecessarily sour and unwelcoming disposition. Today, I came in to pick up a photo order. When asked for my last name, I clearly said "Armstrong Sharp." I was asked for it again, and after repeating myself, I was immediately told there was nothing under that name. There seemed to be no effort to consider that the order might simply be filed under Sharp. I finally asked, "Did you check Sharp?" Only then did he check--and there was my order. What bothered me most wasn't the mix-up. Those things happen. It was the attitude throughout the entire interaction. There was no acknowledgment, no "let me check," no courtesy, and certainly no attempt to make the experience pleasant. His entire demeanor communicated that assisting me was an inconvenience. Customer service does not require an elaborate performance. A greeting, a little patience, basic courtesy, and a willingness to help go a long way. When one employee repeatedly makes a regular customer feel unwelcome, it reflects poorly on the entire store. I like the convenience of this CVS and would prefer to continue using it, but interactions like this genuinely make me reconsider doing business at this location. Management should address the customer-service culture at the counter.

I stopped by here on the way home from the outlets just to pick up a few things...nothing major…read more It's coming toward the end of the year and I wanted to use up some funds on my flex card. I don't know what it is about this store, but the employees seem to be really up in my business in what I buy here! First, I was browsing the acne treatment area because I do tend to have the occassional breakout so I was checking out the new Burt's Bees line. The beauty advisor there lets me know there are some Burts Bees gift sets so I take a look and thank her. Not even a minute later, she comes back and starts suggesting the acne treatment packs that are comprable to Proactiv. I thanked her again and continued to browse onto something else. I pick up the box of Bio-Oil and start reading about it. The beauty advisor comes back once again to say that it's a really good product, great for stretch marks, how her daughter used it, etc. Whoa, ok, thanks. I smile, thank her again and proceed to walk further down the aisle to look at other items. I think by now I'm looking at some face lotion and the beauty advisor comes back AGAIN and starts suggesting a shampoo for me and how there's a good deal going on. Oh man, by now I'm done hanging around this aisle and head over to the other side of the store. I found out that my flex card will not cover multi-vitamins, but they will cover pre-natal vitamins. No, I'm not pregnant, but will probably start trying sometime next year. Until then, I've been taking vitamins, getting my calcium & folic acid, yadda yadda ya....to be ready for when the time does come. So, I figure, what the heck, I might as well get pre-natals since they're covered. As I was checking out, the cashier sees that I'm buying pre-natal vitamins and says, "awwww, pre-natals!" I said it was only because they were covered by the flex card...it was kind of awkward sooo it's probably a good idea not to comment on people's purchases. Needless to say, it's nice to have attentive employees and customer service, but I just felt they went overboard here. I like shopping with some sort of privacy!
