The store is clean and easily navigated. The line for the pharmacy is odd because it snakes around, and when it's long, it blocks the ends of rows. I've had no issues checking out inside, whether it's at the pharmacy counter or at the front register. One problem I have is with the pharmacy drive-thru; more than half of the time the tech fails to record my phone number for the Walgreen's reward program. I've contacted the store and have been assured that they know they are supposed to do it. I now ask them to please do it. However, today when I did that, the tech just stared at me, printed my receipt and sent my Rx out. And of course, she did not record my phone number. This is just lazy. read more

So how you you trust a Walgreens employee if Walgreens don't? How do you know if a employee didn't install a skimmer on the cash register and get your debit card information? Any search under this policy will be done in a manner protecting employees' privacy, confidentiality, and personal dignity to the greatest extent possible. I typically prefer Walgreens over CVS but not in the case of this store. Processing prescriptions are at their convenience so don't expect any sense of urgency from them. Try to call? Expect to be on terminal hold. Chat? Expect chat rep to refer you back to store that doesn't answer phone. This pharmacy needs an overhaul. I had placed an order for pictures online. I got a confirmation my order was ready but when I went to pickup on Christmas Eve, Steven (the employee) was rude from the second I walked up. He started with "first, did you get a confirmation?" I said yes and showed him. He said he didn't have my order and I was fine with that because these things happen but asked how I should go about placing an order that will for sure be filled same day. We do a Christmas tradition for Santa by leaving birthday party pictures out with milk and cookies since my daughter's birthday is 10 days before Christmas. He said he didn't know, and given he is the employee and should be able to direct me how to best place the order, I asked again to please find out. His response was "next customer." I said "wow, you're going to devastate a 4 year old," and as I was half way through the store to leave he yelled "SHE WONT REMEMBER!" I've never seen such bad customer service. So grateful for her patience, understanding, care, & follow through in helping me! Additionally, I spoke with two other customer customer service representatives in the store that didn't have name tags on, refuse to give me their information or provide the name and contact number for the store manager and or district manager for this area. Everybody just shrugged their shoulders and told me they didn't know what to do in this situation. After getting off the phone with customer service, thinking the problem was about to be taken care of by the shift lead. I waited for 15 minutes upfront, waiting on Laura to return. Despite her team member calling her multiple times on their walkie-talkie, this person never returned upfront to finish, assisting me in this issue. **she was hiding in the back of the store, avoiding the 'on floor work'. This is a well-stocked Walgreens with friendly staff. Alas, it's tough to give it higher than a 3-star rating as it has to be balanced out with the speed of the pharmacy. My dealings with the pharmacy have been pleasant and it makes me feel good that they're knowledgeable about both the meds and the insurance payments. However, as many people have already commented, this location is over-worked and under-staffed. If possible, I'd recommend trying to order and pick up your meds on off-hours. This Walgreens pharmacy (and a few others in the Cedar Park/Leander area) does not completely fill prescriptions. They have, on 11 separate occasions, partially filled my prescriptions. 10 times for insulin and 1 time for glucagon kits - in other words very specific medications for the preservation of life. When going back to get the remainder of the prescription, they refused to give me it to me because "the prescription was already completely fulfilled." They seemed to have changed the prescription my doctor sent in to match what they actually gave me. They have also changed the date of two prescriptions that I purposefully ordered before my insurance renewed; so I went from having insurance cover the whole amount because I'd met my deductible and out of pocket max, to owing a few hundred dollars after the first of the year. All this to say, Walgreens pharmacy cheats customers and I highly recommend never going here for prescriptions. Go to CVS or H-E-B. read more

If they dont have you medication in stock, they just cancel the order! ( has happened twice in past week. Had to finally call to get them to order it.) 3. Tonight I pulled up to the drive thru before 10p and waited in line for over 15min and finally pulled up to get my prescription and was told in an unapologetic way, "that we are closed now". Even though the car ahead of me took all that time. There was no one else behind me. I told them I was in line before closing and all they said was "well we have to close". My message to their corporate office - I want to start this message off with that I have only ever used Walgreens as my pharmacy, but after recent visits to the Leader Walgreens (we just moved to the area two years ago) I have decided that the Walgreens Pharmacy near my house is not the standard that I am used to. I want to document a mistake that has happened at this pharmacy twice in the last year. My 1 year old daughter has had 2 ear infections and both times she was prescribed amoxicillin. Both times this pharmacy has filled it and we have not had enough medicine to last the standard 10 days worth of medicine. This most recent time we were short 1.5 days of medicine. I called the pharmacy today (11/10/19) around 2:00 pm and the pharmacist disagreed that we did not have enough and that there should have been the appropriate amount. The bottle given to us says its 100 ml but if that were the case, then the bottle would need to be filled to the rim for it to have the appropriate amount of doses and not a drop wasted. (5ml twice a day for 10 days = 100ml). The second mistake this pharmacy has made is proper customer service. I asked the pharmacist if they can provide us enough amoxicillin so my daughter doesn't miss more than a dose. She was rude and said they cannot because there is no refill on the prescription. But I am not asking for a refill. I am asking for them to provide the appropriate amount of medicine my doctor prescribed and wasn't given to me by this pharmacy. She said again that we were given appropriate amount. At that point I brought up the bottle size and dose amount and told her it couldn't have been the appropriate amount. She started being argumentative and explained how they mix it and I brought up that this has happened before and that something is off here. My 1 year old is now going to miss 3 doses of medicine due to the error of this pharmacy. She then said I'm sorry and hung up on me. Given that I am a lifelong Walgreens customer I hope that Corporate takes this complaint seriously and documents it with this particular pharmacy. I will not be going back to this Walgreen's in the foreseeable future and instead will go to another pharmacy nearby. read more
