10.26.23 This Walmart was my go to shopping store for everything for the greater part of 2022. Whether it was for groceries or anything else I needed. This is a well kept store. Very clean bright and tidy. Most everything was in stock the majority of the time. It was a pleasure shopping here during my many visits to this Walmart. They have a huge parking lot as usual. Handful of stores around this one and easy access to and from the highway. The prices are the usual good prices we expect from our big box discount stores. First off, WTH happen to the Automotive area in the back??? The employees let you know they don't care just by their answers!!! Second ,here a quick example as how downhill it has fallen~just need to get two new tires replace, and no cars or trucks were in the work bay, or parking lot but mine. Employees were just on their phones, and when asked for two tire They said I need to make an appointment online, and buy the tires online as well WHICH DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF PULLING UP!!!Last they directed me to Firestone and discount tires because sometimes they get too busy. This is the second Walmart Automotive Center I visited before their closing time, which is seven p.m. The first one I went to around six ten p.m., and they said they were getting ready to close. I didn't say anything and just went to another Walmart Auto Center at six thirty-two p.m., which is this one, and they gave me the same response. I thought your sign clearly says you're open until seven p.m and also I was only person there and they were not working on any cars in there shop at this location so it not liked they were slammed by customers. read more

The WORST customer service!! Yesterday I went in to Wal-Mart to make a simple purchase; two small bags of dixie cups, but I had to pay using a company credit card. I didn't have the physical card on me, it was in my Google Wallet, and it was my first time using it. I figured that I didn't want to hold up any line, I went to customer service to talk to a manager and get help, since I had never paid that way before. While waiting, the guy in front of me asked the cashier there for change for a $20 bill. He seemed like he needed to pay for something from one of the side stores located near the registers. They wouldn't do it for him. He walked away pissed off. Then it was my turn. I explained the situation to the manager, even had her talk to my manager on the phone about paying for the cups. The Walmart manager wouldn't type in the Credit Card number over the phone, and they told me that they can't use tap services to get the payment information from my cell phone to the store. The only solution that they offered is that I pay for the item, and that my company reimburses me. My manager on the other hand had the idea to order it for curbside pickup and sent me a confirmation number. I told the Walmart manager what my manager had done and gave her the confirmation number. My manager selected a 5:15 pick up time, which was the earliest my manager could select. The WalMart manager then told me that I'd be able to pick up the two bags after the pick up time (3 hours from then). My event started at 4pm, it was 2pm, and GPS said the event was an hour away. So, my last option was to pay for it myself and get reimbursed. I pulled out my debit card, and put it on the counter. The manager then tells me "We don't throw things." That card left my hand to fall less than 2 inches onto the counter. Then she starts playing stupid and says that she doesn't know what I want to do at this point. After telling the manager that you don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out that I just want to pay and leave. So, she sends me to self service checkout because she didn't like my attitude. I left that Wal Mart yelling back to customer service "Thanks for all the help!" while giving them the middle finger. I also ended up being ten minutes late to my shift because of all the hassle that the manager gave me. She could have just let me take the $9.40 in retail out of the store after it was paid for online and simply make a note saying that I picked it up early. Why do I have to fit into Wal-Mart's schedule ? It's because of shitty service like her's that I hate shopping at Wal-Mart. read more

Oh my god! Manager Pierre is amazing. I had to exit due to a flat tire on the way to visit my Grandparents and came to this Walmart. They only had one technician working and we're only taking appointments at the time. I explained my situation to manager Pierre and he personally came out and worked on my vehicle as he was also on the inside helping check people out. I was totally willing to be patient because I understood the situation but he still managed to complete my vehicle in a timely manner with no issue. I didn't read the reviews on this Walmart until later and I honestly don't understand the bad comments. I had a great experience and would highly recommend anyone to this location. read more

I've been to many Walmart's from several cities, states and this location is by far the cleanest. There are only two things I would say could make this location better is that employees are scarce and you no longer have service in the store and need to Join theirs. Combative problematic before I even open my mouth. I was at the gas station at Walmart where I purchased my Black & mild. The gentleman there Randall didn't hear me correctly so he charged me for four packs instead of two I heard him over there walkie-talkie call a supervisor to come and assist him with taking off a refunding me my money they yelled at him over the walkie-talkie and told them they were busy and didn't have time would be later. Which led me to have to go inside which I didn't mind cuz I had to go inside the shop anyways. When I walk into the customer service I'm greeted with this irritable looking lady at 6:45 not even 7:00 yet a.m. . She looks up at me as if I am disturbing her ass if she's not at work. I stayed to her what I am there for and immediately she starts yelling at the top of her lungs talking about now not only did she try to make my visit there uncomfortable she follows me throughout the entire store trying to see how I conducted myself I'm assuming. Every every line I went to she was there and every time she showed up it was problem she couldn't solve them unaware how to use Humana cards stating that I needed to go to the pharmacy I couldn't purchase there when the Humana card is for Walmart only that's the only reason why I had to come to Walmart is because you can't use the card anywhere else I took a risk that day to go to that location normally I go to hutto where it's polite and people are productive at and not standing around congregating as if they're in the club not knowledgeable about their machines day job or how to even assist people or even comprehend of such rude disrespectful ill mannered, and now time consuming productive people can show up and look like they've shown up and then be able to conduct themselves appropriately which this lady does not know how to Walmart should be ashamed of having somebody early in the morning looking like that let alone not being able to communicate with diverse people and you indigenous yourself is crazy to me and why you thought you was disrespecting me and then respect the gentleman behind me is what you don't know about Round Rock is those will be the ones that have cost you your job not me!!!! read more

Not a single Poinsettia in sight! Strange... on the biggest shopping day of the year with tons of deals on things like toys, TVs, and decorations Walmart was completely void of one of the number one selling Christmas must haves... Not one poinsettia in the store! That meant that I had to go else where if I wanted to compete my Christmas Black Friday shopping! Great more stops on on an already way to busy day. Oh well the rest of the items were great... puzzles, pop a shot, toys... deals were abound! A very clean store... no help to be found accept at the registers... but hey it's Walmart... haven't we grown to expect that? I am so tired of going to this store to find 10 employees standing at the front of the store watching customers check themselves out. I counted 10 employees not doing anything. I asked one of them why so many employees were standing around instead of running a register. The employee said that there was a process and there were plenty of open self checkout registers available. I used to spend hundreds of dollars a month at Wal.art but I rarely go anymore because of the terrible customer service. I really feel like customers should get a discount if they are forced to check themselves out. I will only shop at HEB from now on. Walmart is consistent on what I expect and has what I need the majority of the time. Three stars for this national store. Today I devoured some wings from the deli. The deli workers were so friendly and kind. The wings were crispy and delicious. The cashiers are mostly friendly, but when I need some help in the aisles I am usually trying to find somebody to assist me. Where is Waldo? This Walmart has a Subway inside. This is convenient if you're shopping and want to grab a bite to eat on your way out. They also have an Auntie Anne's. Reliant Energy has a spot on the corner. Lady on the speaker calling out "customer needs assistance in sporting goods". She called this out 4 times and nothing. I will never go back to this Walmart again! Got a nail in my tire that I noticed on my way to work one day this week. With no option to turn back and go home, I decided to pull into Walmart to see if they might be open and if they could help. I pulled up next to the service bay and their doors were open. A mechanic came out to ask what I needed and I explained and also told him that I needed to get to work and as an aside, that it was my birthday. He told me he could provide a patch within about 45 mins. if I could wait. Having no better option, I agreed. I walked in to the store and he got right to work on repairing my tire. About 30-40 mins. later he came to say my car was ready and; he asked the cashier to check me out. But then, I saw him take out his wallet and insert his bank card in the card reader. Not comprehending what had just happened, I presented my card for payment. The lady handed me paperwork on the repair and told me the mechanic had covered my charge. I turned to him as he was on his way out to thank him and tell him he didn't need to do that for me. But he replied that he couldn't let me pay b/c it was my birthday. I was most awed and grateful as my potentially rotten morning had been resurrected by this employee. I want to recognize this gentleman for his excellent customer service and kindness to me. The store itself is fine, but everything is locked up now. I can understand locking spray paint and electronics, sure they are small and expensive. Horrible walmart!! My Daughter and I were looking at the Halloween stuff where a few employees were horsing around and being silly. They knocked my daughter into a shelf. They didnt even apologize or ask her if she was ok. They laughed and said "I'm sure you get more hits than that in soccer." Because she was wearing her soccer uniform from a game we just left. As annoyed as I was I shrugged it off and we walked away. (Things happen, accidents happen) but then I realized 5 minutes later my daughter was BLEEDING. You need better employees. While I was talking to him asking about a part, he was to busy looking at her ass she was walking away and stoping when she dropped stuff. After finally acknowledges that I'm there he tells me I have to go find my own part and he doesn't know anything. I can't even bring myself to go back in to return the wrong part. ABSOLUTELY LOUSY SERVICE! All of the assisted checkouts were closed so you have to check yourself out. The lazy customer service employee had 1 customer and said she was getting a line that was forming son I would have to wait. There was one man before me and one lady test that came after me. She then said I was welcome to wait but it would be faster if I went and checked myself out! In other words she didn't want to assist me and it showed on her facial expression. I am so tired of these walmart employees on their phones and noone to check us out. The auto-center is sub par in terms of customer service and time concerns. Rarely open on time - they wait until they're supposed to be open before setting up the shop forcing customers to wait another 10-15 minutes without acknowledgement. Sometimes they don't open on time because technicians call in. Allow for a large margin of flexibility in time if you visit this location. Arriving when they open helps a little bit but due to their inefficiency may end up waiting just as long as if you had shown up during the middle of the day. I come here because I purchased a tire with warranty and this is the closest location with a tire center to my home. Won't be purchasing another tire from here. Spent the extra money and get the whole package (including good customer service) elsewhere. Update: Back again to get the tire fixed (finally). They weren't open on time again, this time due to being sent to open with the wrong keys! On a positive note, please seek out Tyler. He's amazing and seemingly the only competent technician on site. If Tyler isn't working, come back when he is. I'm 100% serious. Second update: Manager Anthony made us whole after discussing the entire issue with him. Store manager Paige has also been made aware of the issues with the automotive center. Only time will tell if the customer experience improves going forward. NOTE of clarification: According to the manager, the automotive center has to wait for a manager to open the garage before they can service customers. This is why they're never open when they're scheduled to be. Until management changes this practice, there will always be a wait in the morning. read more

This is only for pickup not inside the store. I was a little skeptical of getting pickup because in 2020 (COVID) the experience was the worst. I digress...today I did the mobile check-in when I left my house and then once I arrive I put in my spot number and color of my car. From parking in the reserve spot to getting my items was about 3 minutes. The young lady was nice asked my name (verifying the order) and asked where would I like the items in the backseat or trunk. I didn't have anything fragile so everything was handled with care for the most part. She came back and let me know everything was good. I gave her a tip for doing that. It was a good experience since after the whole stores limiting customers covid thing. I will get pickup from here again. read more

Having needed to pick up a couple snacks on a whim, I opted to run into Walmart. It was meh at best but I've experienced way worse. Parking sucks. It's the worst I've seen, mainly because people don't seem to know how to drive nor do they care that pedestrians should have the right of way. Inside, it's better but not by much. For a packed parking lot, it wasn't too busy and it was easy to maneuver through the aisles while on the hunt for snacks. Check out was bitter sweet. It was sweet because the line for the "20 items or fewer" lane was incredibly short -- usually, this is the longest lane in the store whenever I go -- but it was incredibly bitter because of the lifelessness of the kid behind the register. Good god he was depressing! The store as a whole seemed clean but the outside could use some love. read more
