Clean, well organized but sadly the buck stops there. I struggled with considering this recliner- it had all the features we wanted but we had never purchased furniture or any large item from Target and I was skeptical of how it would go. I have purchased many large furniture items and appliances from a couple other retail stores in the area and always experienced excellent customer service so I proceeded to order this chair for my husband.. We hoped it would benefit him. as it turns out, I should've trusted my gut. The ordering and paying experience wasn't bad, but from the moment we got the chair and had to move it into the house ourselves, then unbox It -I knew this experience would be different. After removing it from the box and getting it in the appropriate room, I spent four hours trying to put it together. it's true that the back and the seat go together pretty easily however, the directions were very poor, and I had a lot of difficulty trying to assemble the rest of it. I never could accomplish it once I had the main pieces put together. My husband did attempt to sit in it. We did not plug it in since it wasn't complete and I didn't want any harm to come to it. after that one time of sitting in it, there was a button that was placed into the back of the chair, possibly for decoration, but it had come out and was just dangling on a string and unable to be placed back into the chair, the arms of the chair had to be stuffed with pillow like objects that wasn't too difficult however it was impossible to get the material of the Arrms of the chair down to Velcro to the crease of the seat so that the arms wouldn't flop around. I also couldn't find the padding for the intetior of the recliners back. After a time consuming investigation it was located UNDER THE SEAT of the recliner. I don't know if I was supposed to just know this, but having never put together a recliner I had no clue cushions also were unable to be fit into the area they were supposed to go and zipped in. I found it ludicrous that per the instructions it was supposed to be a 20 minute job. We would not recommend this chair to anyone and sadly after trying to get some help to return the chair it turns out we will have to pay to hire someone to take the chair and its parts back to Target. We cannot get it back into the box it came in-we still have the box, but it is broken down-so UPS cannot come and get it even though it qualifies for a heavy piece of furniture that would ordinarily qualify for Pick Up. I also had a lot of trouble reaching the right department because the phone number posted for returns of Heavy items, on the target app was not working properly so you could not get to speak to a live person. I have enjoyed shopping at target throughout my 70+ years, but I will never consider shopping there again. I'm very unsatisfied with the outcome of all this and putting the burden back on us of returning the chair even though it doesn't work, it's damaged, and impossible to put together read more

Walking in, immediately you'll see seasonal displays or small item clearance item displays, depending on which entrance is used. This store has groceries and regular merchandise. The fresh vegetables and fruit section in the grocery department showed good quality, as did the fresh flowers. That said, I came to Target for an online order pick up. It went very smoothly. I had the bar code for my order ready (I suggest you ensure you have this ready when it's your turn to keep the line moving!). The employee scanned it and quickly turned to retrieve it. Like pretty much all Targets, they are basically upscale Walmarts with pricing to match. They definitely have Walmart beat when it comes to selection, merchandising, and layout. This location does also feature produce, a deli, a bakery and grocery items, along with a large selection of general merchandise. Within its four walls is a CVS pharmacy and a Starbucks (which at this time is being remodeled). They seem to have pretty much everything here except an outdoor garden center. They do sell beer and wine here and have a bout 72 feet of wine on the shelves, but they have a small cold box for beer, which does not feature much in the way of craft items. When it comes to checking out, they have 12 registers and eight self check out stations. read more

The Manager - Mackenzie, Customer Service Reps (Ori & Hailey) went above and beyond to help take care of my needs - truly providing the products sold with value and reassurance their guests truly come first. I brought in my item, received a merchant gift card to then repurchase a NEW water flosser waterpik right then and there.The team was genuine, caring, knowledgable, and efficient at taking care of my issue. They were able to resolve my exchange request within 3-minutes. Additionally I had questions on the Target app - updating my phone number / ensuring purchase history wasn't lost. They were able to walk me through the steps right there to update my information and ensure my perks weren't lost in the change. Generally speaking, I like Target - and this is one of their better stores in the greater Austen Metro area. This is a fairly large Target with a wide range of products. The store's relatively new, and it's nice and clean. Compared to other ones I've been to there is easy parking and plenty of it, as its' far enough away from the adjoining restaurants and movie theater. And they've been better than most at keeping perishables in stock, even in this strange binge-hoarding time we live in. Service can be hit and miss at times, but that's not enough to seriously ding them for. Definitely worth visiting if you need to go to a Target. read more

Dr. Eugenio has seen both of my kiddos for the past few years for thier yearly eye exams. Dr. Eugenio is efficient, friendly and is helpful. He takes time with his paitents to explain everything and answer all of thier questions. I highly recommend Dr. Eugenio. Unrelated to the eye exam, the reason that I came into the store was to purchase some items for teacher appreciation week for my kids teachers. Let me start out by saying that this location is going through a major renovation. I wish there was a way they could have shut down to do the renovations and re-opened. Everything has shifted in the store and I couldn't even find the basic frozen food items I was looking for. The only thing that didn't move was the Optical Department. Clothing departments have product jammed in so tight and haphazardly, that I couldn't find the sizes or styles I was for. I like target but I can't say much about their prices. They are noticeably higher than HEB. They don't have near the cashiers available. They locations are convenient. The only recommendation I have is that you sign up for their red card in which it links directly with your bank account and allows them to avoid the 3% credit card fee. And careful not to overdraw your account because you'll get an overdraft fee when they go to deduct the amount from your bank account that you have linked to the red card. It's Xmas eve and they're open until 10 pm. This place is pretty crowded. I'm not the only one who needs to do some last minute shopping! We're looking for air mattresses. I only have one guest room and am expecting a visit from family tomorrow. I've been meaning to pick up mattresses for a week now but kept forgetting. I live in Round Rock and I normally go to the one in Georgetown..But I was in Cedar Park and I decided to stop into this Target. The store is really clean and I found pretty much everything that I needed. I decided to do the self-checkout and I was struggling (lol). Anyway, a very nice young lady (I believe her name was Sammi), was extremely helpful and patient with me. I told her I felt like a dummy not figuring out how to scan produce. She said, oh no, you are fine, let me help you with that. She was very friendly and bubbly. I didn't feel like much of an idiot anymore (haha). After she helped me she told me to have a great day. This store constantly discontinues product even if it's popular. It's often messy and the item locations via app are not consistently correct; this goes for # of product available. No matter how packed this store gets- OFTEN- there's never enough registers open and while there may be a shortage of staff around the country this target has a ton of people on the floor stocking product and shopping for pickup orders so it's extremely unbalanced. Im actually prompted to finally review this target after what happened this morning: I went in on a mission to find an item and it was not where the app told me. I kept going in circles and the employees in the area definitely noticed but didn't even offer help. I'm shy and it's hard for me to approach first but I finally got the nerve to and the older man working huffed a huge aggravated breathe and rolled his eyes at me when I asked for help. He said he didn't think he could help me : I looked at his shirt to see if I mistook him for an employee and clearly he was but I asked: are you not working right now? They were clearly annoyed by my very existence and started to say something but the attitude was so off putting I turned around to walk away and they raised their voice a bit to get my attention and I turned and said I will go find someone else and they looked confused so I said -uncharacteristically- you know- you were super rude when I approached you and that's not ok. They got pretty wide eyed and started to say sorry and I left to find another employee. They did help me and were kind and I made sure to thank them for being helpful and kind when I approached and apologized again for bothering them during a task. The item was not anywhere in the possible locations and then I went on my way to checkout. All in all target used to be a favorite store for my family but between the inconsistency; the garbage quality of goods (looking at you Hearth n Hand!), the HIDEOUS clothing available, the lies about merging gender and toy options for kids (thanks for making my gender "divergent" child uncomfortable shopping) and the increased ratio of rude to kind staff is really unbalanced and unpleasant. No one is happy- no one has been happy or comfortable probably all their lives but especially in the past few years which makes it more imperative to be more aware and considerate and try to help and lift each other up rather than bring your fellow humans down to your shit attitude. I had purchased 1 laptop totaling $188.98 plus other items, well the cashier accidentally charged me for 2 laptops she was having problems so a manger came to help her change the price to the correct price. I paid for my items then before I walked out I noticed she charged me for 2 laptops when I only purchased . I proceeded to customer service to get my money back for the 2nd 1 she charged. I took my receipt and my cart gave Alex the customer service department my receipt and told him sh charged me for 2 instead of 1 well he didn't know the manager had helped the cashier with my transaction so she knew I only had 1. Well alex then take my receipt to loss prevention which I knew he was profiling me thinking I purchased 2 and tried to take it back with keeping both. Well I was so mad crowded line embarrassed. I then said she was over there the manager which I forget her name she said yes she only had 1 and what happened did she charge you for 2 I said yes she stated well refund her where is her receipt he said uhhhhh Darell have it she said why and I knew why. Well Darell came down and at this point in fired up he was rude ignorant and told me he didn't have to explain why my receipt had to go to him. i knew what they were doing looking at the cameras and got the print out of Me: the register that I checked out on the record. The women's restroom was disgusting. I notice a horrible odor and many used paper towels on the floor outside of the trash, as the trash was overflowing. The first stall had no toilet paper. The next stall had toilet paper but no hook in the door for handbags. The 3rd stall luckily had toilet paper and a hook, but it was a wheelchair accessible stall and I typically won't use those because I don't have a need. It's like parking in a handicap parking spot when you don't have a handicap tag; not acceptable. To say the bathrooms were neglected is sugar coating it. I brought my own bags and I had 2 insulated bags. The cashier bagged an entire bag of cold items in one of my non-insulated bags so I emptied it and moved those items to an insulated bag. I don't like their coupon system now that they got rid of the Cartwheel app. I had went through all the coupons on the Target app and selected the ones I wanted but then wasn't able to find the barcode to get the discount when it was time to pay. I like HEB's system, enter a phone number and PIN on their credit card reader and it will pull all the digital coupons from their app that you selected and apply the savings immediately. Lastly, we were in the toy section and we were looking for a specific toy. We saw an employee looking directly at us and said, "Excuse me? Do you...". My daughters and I went in for some home Decour and school supplies. We like to price match off of Amazon because target isn't cheap but they had some fun unique items. I try to teach my daughters how to get the best price the first time you purchase and save your hard earned money. At check out they made it so awkward. She called in a manager which brought in three men next to her And wanted to go back-and-forth about Amazon price and Amazon prime price. I just asked them to tell me what the Amazon price was and they kept on saying they don't know because it only shows a prime price. I said how do you match Amazon prices if you can't see the price to match it to and she was like I don't know lady do you want the product or not? It was so embarrassing with my two daughters there I almost started crying. I'll be doing a complete return tomorrow because I just feel sick to my stomach of how they made me feel about price matching for items on Amazon. It was a wet brush, two books and foundation. My BF dragged me here on Black Friday. I hate shopping especially on Black Friday. All my holiday shopping was done, online. I asked him why do we have to go today. He had to buy my birthday present. Yes, the list that I gave him 3 weeks ago. It was detailed on what I wanted with the brand name, product code and where to buy it online. Again he waited until last minute but I rolled with the punches. It is laid out like all Targets. At least it wasn't mobbed with shoppers, I found that strange. We headed to the small appliances to find my juicer. All I wanted was an electric reamer for when I have to juice multiple oranges, limes or lemons. All target had was ultra expensive juicing machines that you put anything in and it comes out juicy. Many spots on the shelf were empty but it was close to the holidays. We were in and out in 15 minutes. So there is not much more to say. read more

We purchased an air mattress from The Cedar Park, Tx location. I asked my husband to return it the following day. I did not want to get a replacement, we want the money back on our credit card. He went in and explained to the guest service attendant and she gave him a gift card. I asked him to go back and tell them we did not want a gift card. The new attendant he spoke with him said it was their policy anything over $100 has to be credited back in a gift card and they could not credit to our credit card. I called and spoke to a supervisor and she was no help either. My suggestion to other shoppers. Keep your housing/camping/or electronics purchases below $100 because if they are defective, Target does not stand behind the product they sale and will not refund your money back directly to you. They will give a gift card to comeback and purchase something else that may/not work once you unpackage the item. Very dissatisfied with non-customer service. read more

I fell in the Christmas section! They have lights and things I've never seen before,and all the trees and decorations you would need to decorate your home.Plus I love they have the old fashioned lights my mom used to buy in the large and mini sizes.All the home goods you need,bedding,linens towels. And toys for the kiddos just in time for a Christmas and all the sales are going on now so grab them while you can.They have some really beautiful Christmas Trees if you need one and don't forget about your next holiday outfits for yourself or the kiddos.Also I found some really nice handbags for the woman that lives for handbags like me and don't forget about all your babies needs! Bad management. Bad customer service. I have been shopping at this particular Target for 10 years, but this was the first time I was looking for the Men's department, specifically Men's shoes. My son and I walked around the store looking for a sign and could not see one. We finally found a Target employee who was on the phone and asked her. She said it was in the back of the store and continued her phone conversation. We wandered to the back and asked another employee who said Men's was in the corner. She did not offer to help or ask us what we were looking for. We went to the back corner -- no sign indicating Men's -- and did not see any shoes. We asked a third employee who said shoes were in the corner. The moment my son and I walked past her, she turned to another employee and said, "Is that woman blind?" No, I am not blind. But there is no signage, the shoe section is tiny, the entire Men's section is very small, and no employee offered to help us. All three were young women, no older than 25. Their focus seemed to be with the stock rather than serving customers. Rude employees are a reflection on their managers. Also, no signage for the Men's department is a management responsibility. When I was in my teens and early 20s I worked for minimum wage at two department stores, and my managers trained us to help customers. If anyone had insulted customers instead of helping them find things, they would have been fired. This occurred on Saturday afternoon and there were plenty of employees working at the store -- just not helping customers except at the cash registers. Next time I will go to the Lakeline store. read more
