I wasn't a fan before as service was not very great years when I was new in the area. Recently, service on the counter is much better. I've been back here like three times in a month and I enjoy the peace and organization here. I am not sure if they still have the rewards system like they did (I earned $ rewards to use for certain $ amount you spend). Upon first glance the center of the store looks crowded with clothes. However, stepping in it becomes clear that there is excellent organization of items and brands. There's a large shoe section, with a good focus on children's shoes. I noted a large accessories department with name brand handbag designers. However both times I've visited the store, the handbags were fairly disorganized. Also, and I'm not sure why I was surprised, there was a section with linens, pet items, luggage, and other typical department store sections. They were exceptionally small, but being the Rack and not the main branch, it makes sense. read more

Be aware of MISSY LANIE! I placed an online pickup order but the store fulfilled it with two expired items. When I returned to the store to resolve the issue, the employee MISSY LANIE gave me a very hard time. She told me she could not process the return and insisted that I contact the .com team instead. Actually, I called customer service before I went to the store, it was hard to get a live person and the AI agent asked me to go to return them in store. Her attitude was unprofessional, and despite my explanation that the store had issued expired items and I simply needed a refund, she continued to refuse and said it was a "final sale" order. Eventually, she processed the refund, but she unnecessarily called security, which felt intimidating and completely inappropriate. Throughout this experience, I did nothing wrong. The store provided expired products and then attempted to avoid resolving the issue, causing significant inconvenience as I had to pick up the order and return to the store. Instead of assisting customers, the staff created obstacles and even resorted to calling security, which is unacceptable. This experience was extremely disappointing, and based on the way I was treated, I am no longer comfortable visiting Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack. read more

I have little to complain about at this location. The staff is usually pretty quick with checkout, the store is clean and stays organized, there is almost always someone on staff floating around the store should I need assistance (rarely ask though, tbh) and the dressing rooms are clutter free if I need to try something on. I was so happy when Cedar Park scored a Nordstrom's Rack. Such a great location next to all the restaurants and shopping. This is my go to place for gifts and workout clothes. They carry lots of high end designers and it's not as packed out as the other ones in North Austin. It's convieniently located next to DSW and walking distance to Marshall's so you can park in the middle like me and hit up all of them. I've never had issues bringing bags in to any of them from other stores. Big clean dressing rooms and friendly employees. They carry Kendra Scott jewelry and Free People and Madewell are some of my favorites. The high end stuff is located at the front of the store and the sale racks are at the very back next to all the shoes. They have great deals for folks with the Nordstrom reward system and even better perks if you have their credit card! read more

Hello, my name is Paul R and I am a Rack hunter. I love this locale at the Parke especially during the late afternoons when the store is not busy. Pro tip: Avoid on Saturdays especially during their clear the rack days. Where else can you discover $100 shoes marked down to $25.00? How about designer shirts at a fraction of the original price. When they have their clear the rack sale I'm loading up. Customer service is top-notch not on par with their Nordstroms personal shopper service but someone is always available to assist. Returns are a breeze with or without a receipt. If you are a rack hunter this is the place to hunt for big game hunting. read more

Such a clean, organized, and friendly environment. This entire plaza is fairly new to Cedar Park and Leander. Boy did we need this, though! This location is such a good one for Nordstrom Rack but their staff is really great and everything is really nicely laid out. When you walk in you can tell where everything is in one glance of the store. There is rarely ever a long line and when there is (on weekends) they get the line moving so fast. Their shoe department here is huge and the selection is always great. The employees here have asked me if I need help and also offered to find the item at different locations if needed. Really impressed with their customer service. Parking is amazing since it's a new plaza. There are tons of parking spaces and more than enough handicap spots to go around. DO NOT shop at this Nordstrom Rack. The customer service is lacking in a major way.The item I was returning only had a sticker for a tag. However, this is how the item was sold to me at a Houston store. I was even willing to take store credit as I was also going to make a purchase. The manager stated that Nordstrom Rack ALWAYS makes sure that the items has tags and that simply doesn't happen at their bargain Nordstrom stores. Clearly, she was wrong about that one. The item was only a $24 jacket. The manager on duty's condescending attitude was present when she had to come to register as she was taking off her work gloves. Even after the Nordstrom Rack in Houston called this location to inform them that THEY made an error in not completing a new clothing tag when the item was purchased and they requested that the CEDAR PARK store return the item for me, the rude and petty manager would not return the item. The manager then LIED and told the Houston store that the item looked worn. When, I was in the store I stated that the item had never been worn and she stated that she wasn't saying that it was worn and it did not look worn. I have shopped at the Nordstrom brand for over 30 years. This store's team (mostly the manager on duty) on this specific evening needs to be retrained in customer service and the Nordstrom ethos for providing service. You are better off finding more comprehensive customer service and better dressed staff at the Marshalls that is in the same shopping center: better customer service and the store is tidier. read more

Returned an item tonight. The manager talked down to me and was unbelievably rude throughout the process. Had the online receipt, order number, was within the return period and she still made the process as difficult and excruciating as she could. Pretty much no organization with how stuff is laid out. But more importantly, midway through shopping I was told I couldn't shop anymore due to me not wearing a mask. I 100% have a medical reason for not wearing a mask and haven't worn one the entire pandemic. The complete lack of sensitivity to my situation was astounding. I was at the front of the line, next up for the cashier to ring up my purchases. Another Nordstrom employee called me over to the side and used a hand-held device to ring up my purchase. At the end of the transaction she asked for my email. It was a pain to type on this tiny screen on the hand held and took twice as long had I just been rung up by the regular cash register!! There were 4 empty registers NOT being used. What really pissed me off was the Nordstrom employee could not give me a receipt!! The hand held unit does not print receipts! They said it would be emailed to me. I stood in the store for 5 minutes after the transaction and never got the email! I approached the manager and told her I had not received my receipt emailed to me. She said it takes 15 minutes. I still never received the email. I also told the manager the clerk should have informed me I would NOT get a receipt before pulling me out of line to check me out on their hand held device. The 3 items I purchased fit so I don't need to return them, but I'm pissed enough that I considered returning them. Horrible customer service!! read more

So I wrote to the GM about my experience which he replied back.... then I sent him the picture with my contact info. Never heard from him. Here's the break down of my experience: Mr. Wiggins, I am writing to you in regards to the poor service that was rendered to me at your establishment on 4/10/17. I was very happy that corporate decided to build one by where we lived because the one in the Gateway shopping center was too much of a drive. That first impression didn't last though. I went to an associate to finally apply for a store credit card. I never got her name, less than 5 minutes I was approved for one. I signed the iPhone, I opted for the printed temporary shopping pass. Then she had to call someone from the employee help line or whatnot and then we waited. Then about 15 minutes passed she gave the phone to me to verify. That was all good the associate on the other line told me that I was approved once again. Then she said her printed didn't work while she left me there to get someone something printed out her printer. 30 minutes passed. She made me sign the agreement for that was you guys to keep for documentation. I still didn't have my CC numbers. Then I ASKED her if I could have my temporary shopping pass to BUY THINGS. She decided to SCAN another credit card form and told me to fill my information on her hand held again so "MAYBE WE CAN LOOK YA UP." I started to fill it TRUSTING this associate knows what she is talking about. THEN, I realized that it was another credit card application form and if I had hit send ANOTHER credit pull will happen. I told her that this is WRONG and that it could mess up my credit. Too many pulls in one day is not a good thing! She made me follow her to the front register and she asked another associate what to do. BY THIS TIME, 1 HOUR, has passed. She called again to write down my credit card number ON A PIECE ON WRINKLED LINE PAPER WITH HER NOTES ON IT. Mind you, 1 hour was the only time we allotted to spend in your store Mr.Wiggins. We had to go, my mother had a meeting at the hospital where she worked. We decided to give the store another try because my mother LOVES Nordstrom Rack, I can't blame her! Good deals! Went in there again one more time and got a few things. Now, we're at the register to pay and GUESS WHAT?! INVALID CREDIT CARD NUMBER! The lady didn't put the right one on my wrinkled up line note paper! I explained to the cashier what had happened, she went to get another cashier, THE ONE THAT THE FIRST ASSOCIATE WENT TO FOR HELP. She called AGAIN, they told her that that was the wrong credit card number and the WRONG CVV number! Then she called ANOTHER ASSOCIATE, so by this time I HAD EXPLAINED MY SITUATION FOUR TIMES TO FOUR DIFFERENT LADIES! They didn't know what to do? While I was explaining myself the lady that had called in for the last time was telling me that "SOMETIMES THESE THINGS HAPPEN" SERIOUSLY?! This is how you run your store?! That's good that this happens only SOMETIMES! Only DAWN WATSON introduced herself and was able to listen to me and didn't give me BS excuses. This is the worst customer service I have ever received EVER. I will also e-mail you the most unprofessional temporary credit card you will ever see. I hope to hear from you soon, sir. They have been super helpful in dealing with helping my daughter look for certain items for schools, dances, pictures...Everyone has ALWAYS been so kind and helpful.
