I just recently became a resale shopper & have to say that the selection & quality of merchandise at this shop was quite surprising in a positive way. I enjoyed my time shopping here. The gals that assisted me were lovely. When I came out of the fitting room asking for their honest appraisal, the three gals were honest. They didn't act as if they were only trying to sell items & get me out the door. They were kind, took their time to help & made helpful suggestions. Everything I bought was of good quality a real value. I left there with a nice experience & nice additions to my wardrobe. I'll be back to shop. read more

6/21/2026 This place is a scam! My wife went in to check on the items that she had dropped off. The woman at the counter (who said she was the owner), told my wife that since the items were dropped off over 30 days ago, they were all donated. My wife walked around and found a pair of the shoes she brought in still on the rack. The woman told her that her name isn't coming up in the system and there is nothing she can do to help her. My wife showed her the receipt and the woman still refused to help and tried to keep the receipt. It clearly shows a date of 5/23 which is less than 30 days. This place just stole my wife's items to save 30%. Nothing more than a scam company looking for free items to sell. Beware! (Photo of the receipt dated 5/23 is uploaded) read more

What a great store. They have so much in this space. Pretty well organized. Small, medium, large, XL, and some XXL. Short sleeves, long sleeves, sweaters, dresses, skirts and shorts. All women's wear. I didn't see a lot of brand names. They have a few high end. But it's very limited from what I could see. Even though this was a miss for me. It's a thrift store, and they will always have new items coming in. And I guess they also have an online store. So if you see it in the store and you didn't buy it, and now regret it (I know, I've been there) you can head over to their online store snag it up. Parking is huge. I just had the most awful experience w/ Clothes Mentor! The clothes that I brought in were decent (no tears, stains & smoke-free) I know at minimum, I had 5 pairs of Levy's jeans barely worn, some dresses, shirts, sweatshirts and more (like probably two hundred articles of clothing... They offered me $7 for the lot. The catch is when I said donate what you don't want... I feel like I just gave the lot for free!!!!!! I felt it wasn't worth driving back for $7...gas 4 two trips...NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!!! read more

I went to this place on 10/25 for the first time by curiosity I end up there after going to IKEA my main goal was to buy a loveseat but I couldn't find anything I really loved. Btw this Thrift store was nice organized and clean. I was looking for a blue dress and I found it . I paid a total of $12.98 for a beautiful short dress to wear for a costume party! I will go back eventually it is a drive for me but is always good to find a nice and neat store and find a good dress. I highly recommend this place! read more

Mora and her team are AMAZING! They are super friendly and fun. The store is jam-packed with all kinds of awesome women's apparel and accessories (from name brand to high-end luxury brands). Glad I found this second hand store. Not your average second time around. High quality items for less than Goodwill prices. They also specialize in plus size so easy to find lots of choices for my size. Was surprised how many nice shirts I got bought and the most expensive was $10.99 since it was lace. Also, great purse selection. I'm a purse snob, and I bought two when I was there! They looked basically new. These are not hand me downs but rather Life Me Ups for a Fantastic price. I also sold my own clothing for store credit- totally worth it. Will go back for more purses in the near future. I had to be pulled out or I would have bought out the store. Random too- all clothes smelled like Downey or fresh. I'm like, don't know if they run through a wash first but definitely smelled classy in there. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to find this store. Owners are doing everything right here. Customer service is excellent. Prices reasonable. Set up like a boutique and organized by style, size and color. U wanna waste your time and/or get $ lower than what u would get at the many other resale stores in Austin? Then sell at this place. Let me preface this I've been a reseller from when the only place to resell was Buffalo Exchange. 2010 till now(2025). This is a full-time job for me. I'm good at it so I know my shi* . Now no one is expecting Clothes Mentor to buy everything in ur bag(s) but cmon the resellers know what's selling/brands etc cause nobodys got time to waste. Plus there are at least 10 + shops to choose from on any given day why choose this place when theyre never buying like the other resale shops?!?. They're being super picky on buying because they don't wanna spend money when the inventory they already have ain't moving. The last store that was buying sparsely like this store was the Style Encore that was off 183 north. Their buyers failed them... store was full of a whole lotta nothing and they shut down. Don't waste ur time here BUT if u must make sure to get a receipt for what they've taken and confirm the items in the bin n the receipt match. read more
