For more than half of my time in the store I continuously had multiple workers staring me down, and then two just following me around multiple times which gives me the feeling that I'm being looked at like I'm going to steal. This normally wouldn't bother me because I'm not a thief but it bothers me because I've given zero reason for anyone to be looking at me or following me like this. It creates a nasty narrative, and a hostile environment. Until you've been given a reason to need to follow someone, don't... I'm an indecisive person, but I'm also a gay male in a thrift store playing gospel music, so it's bad enough I already feel like I'm not wanted here but to follow me around and look at me while talking to co workers multiple times doesn't put a good feeling on a customer. And there's a chance that maybe this wasn't the case but I'd be an easy target. There's not a huge selection of men's clothes or shoes and if there is it's mixed up with the women's so I look in ever aisle and I feel like I got stares because I was in the women's aisles but there was a plethora of women's things in the men's aisle so maybe they just need to reorganize? The prices on some things seems incredibly capitalist, I see a whole couch for $19.99 which is a great price, but then I'm looking at a pair of shoes for $24.... Where's the relief in that LOL I have to admit they have some pretty good items, but the prices seem greedy. I don't know how much of the proceeds go to disaster relief but if it's not 100% then it seems pretty disturbing, prices are getting to be like Goodwills and there's no good will in that ‍ All in all, this truly is a great store but this was not a good experience for me so I may seek another store.

This women's clothing shop sits in a historical home, located on Main Street in the historical…read moredistrict of downtown. They opened in October 2024. Inside this historical home are several other businesses sharing different rooms. However, I did not see much in the way of women's clothing as it seems to be more of a arts and craft store. This boutique fits into two small rooms about the size of two bedrooms, or about the size of an efficiency apartment. They have a lot of interesting artisan items such as calognes, body scrubs and room fragrances, but you can also design your own hats, necklaces, T-shirts, and tumblers with decals. What brought us here was the fact that they apparently sell something called LaBubu which is a Chinese doll that seems to have become the next Cabbage Patch kids craze. This little doll and the accessories ain't cheap and can set you back close to 100 bucks. Definitely a nice spot to visit if you find yourself downtown as the included photos and videos attest.

In a way, it's no surprise that few people know about this place since it is definitely located behind other storefronts on Dessau Road. It sits in a strip center behind another strip center completely out of visual range. When you first walk through the door, you think you're entering a Goodwill boutique store because of its small size. It's even laid out like a small Goodwill except that nothing is used here, everything is new. Near the entrance, you can dig through some bargain bins loaded with cosmetics and miscellaneous items. They do have some men's clothes and shoes, but it's really geared towards women's apparel and children's items. I was told all new shoes are $10 a pair and clothing is $7 apiece. Apparently the best time to shop here is on Fridays after they've been closed Wednesday and Thursday. One thing they lack is a dressing room to try clothing on (no bathroom either). I picked up some new shoes and jeans for just $17. Many of the items in the bins have price stickers, but some don't which means you'll have to ask. Yes there's a lot of new cheapo junk here, but there's a lot of worthwhile items as well. Informative photos included.

The owner, Kris (might be wrong spelling), is really sweet and made my mom and I feel so welcome. She sells cute and trendy clothes at much better prices than places right on the square. She also sells some jewelry, purses, kitschy stuff too. The upstairs is a consignment store. Everything is easy to touch and look at. Stop by this place and spend local ! We will certainly go back.
