We found this store while attending the holiday market going on outside. It's a nice general store with a wall of candies and other novelties. There are some candles including some salty ones hidden behind a flap which was funny. They had a beautiful bonbon bar near the counter as well. This is a two-story store so be sure to go upstairs for more goodies. read more

Walked Downtown Hutto and discovered Creative Touch! So many unique finds (love the candles) and various candies to choose from! Love the small businesses feel. Though I wish you could take photos inside as every inch of this store makes for great pictures to share around! Definitely will be coming back for more candles and bags of candy! read more

The candy selection is great! Lots of cute boutique clothing. The reason I did not purchase anything and most likely won't ever go back is because the cashier lady was watching me on the store cameras the entire time I was shopping. I turned the corner and noticed her legit staring into the screen watching me walk around. This made me super uncomfortable. It's too bad, I go to the coffee shop near by almost everyday and this boutique would have made a nice stop to shop in. Oh well! read more

Summary: staff is unfriendly Just bought a Christmas picture that had those little led lights in them from this cute place I was visiting for the first time! I was so excited, Im moving here and my sister was showing me around and we decided to stop in. Which is why I was so disappointed in the customer service. I actually thought to myself that I would be coming back here frequently because i liked it. My husband and I were checking out and one lady was getting ready to bag our Christmas painting, when the other lady started to take the batteries out of the paining. The lady checking us out looked confused and we thought how nice it was she was putting new batteries in. NOPE she was taking them out and what bothered me the most is that they SAID NOTHING How about saying oh this is our policy.?? I wasn't going to say anything to them but I thought the next customers aren't gonna like this so I told them and they didn't apologize THE EMPLOYEES WERE SO RUDE It was a 60$ Christmas frame and they felt the need to take the batteries out in a very rude and unfriendly manner. They didn't even say bye so angry and bad attitude. They Take no pride in their work and they WERE VERY UNFRIENDLY I was so disappointed AND WILL NOT BE RETURNING It honestly didn't bother me that they took the batteries out but more so how they did it we had no idea what they were doing. read more

I called, they quickly checked to see if they had it and of course they did :-) They have a wonderful selection of saltwater taffy (my favorite) as well as all kinds of rare to find candies. They also have another section of the store that has all kinds of trinkets and home goods. Just a well rounded fabulous store with friendly customer service! read more

I've been in there a couple times buying gifts on the other side of the store and noticed a growing candy selection. I'll start with good lots of old fashioned candy selection. Prices are cheaper than the sugar shack in Bastrop. Nice location in downtown Hutto. Beautiful city by the way. Now for the bad, customer service is horrible! Sugar shack definitely beats them in this department. Cashier was not friendly even when I initiated conversation. Had to repeat my questions to get an answer and this was in the middle of the week when they were not busy. No smiles either. I probably won't go back. read more

I'm new to the area and have made a habit of checking out locally owned businesses on the weekends. Today I visited Creative Touch and it was such a lovely experience! I came on a Sunday afternoon shortly after they opened and had the whole place to myself. The gal working was sweet as could be and would take stuff out of my hands as I moved room to room so I wasn't bogged down by it while shopping. I was beyond thrilled to find that their super cute clothes were size-inclusive and for the first time in my life purchasing clothing at a boutique, I walked away with two adorable dresses--one of which I'll wear at an event I'm hosting next month. I also snagged a couple items as part of their 50% off sale and could've easily spent more money in there than I did. Most everything seemed reasonably priced, and the service more than makes up for anything else that might seem a tad pricy. Hands down probably the best in-store shopping experience I've ever had and I can't wait to return! read more

My husband and I stumbled upon this little place while in Hutto this weekend. So cute! The salt water taffy is my favorite. While some of their items are a little pricey, I really enjoyed this place. It appears to have been a small house that has been transformed into a quaint shop. They sell candy, knick knacks, baby items, purses, plates...etc. A little of everything can be found in the multiple floors/rooms. They are super friendly and seem to support local artists. A reminder is placed on their door that no picture taking is allowed in the store so keep that in mind. I like the atmosphere and I'd go back. read more

Love going to Creative Touch and the Candy Corner. I normally stop by every two weeks to see what's new and interesting since the items they have constantly change. I love to do my Christmas Shopping and home decorating browsing here. They have hand painted items, unique and one of a kind gifts. But I love that they seem to have something for everyone. I'll continue shopping here, the staff is friendly and very helpful, mostly with my questions about buying stuff that may not have been for sale. Hint: The bunny lamp! My husband loves it! The name can be misleading, while they do have a great candy selection, they also offer unique boutique clothing and home goods.

Every time I visit Hutto, I make a point to visit this little candy/gift shoppe. It's quaint, charming and has expanded several times over the last few years. There's a little something for everyone ... from baby shower gifts to wall decor to an enormous selection of candles. Lots of fun seasonal items too. (They're currently gearing up for Halloween. Festive!) Got a sweet tooth? You'll find something to appease you -- including some local gelato or an endless array of jellybeans. The store has some cute things. They have a promotion where you buy a bag for $20, they call it a bag lady sale. Every so often they offer 20% off whatever you put in it. Don't waste your money, they RARELY, implement that sale. The owner seems unfriendly. The clerks are always friendly though. read more
