I think this mall is okay. There is no wow factor and it's some place you would go to find a last minute dress for a special occasion the day before. Some of the stores in the mall are decent, there's Hollister, Pacsun, Aeropostale, Journey's, American Eagle, Pink, ect. (which are the ones I normally visit). There are some stores on the other hand that aren't great and to be honest most of the stores are pretty underwhelming. I would say most of the people working here are nice and chill but aren't interested in small talk (I can't blame them they're just there to do their job). The food is fine, I normally never get the food though because I don't really trust mall food if I'm being real. If you come here to have fun, I'm sure you'll find somewhere even though the mall is pretty boring. You'll see in the photos I put that there escalators are broken and they have been broken for months "temporarily" out of order? More like permanently out of order. Honestly my favorite part of the mall has to be the AMC movie theater the food is overpriced but I will say the theater is clean, has a good selection of movies, and is comfortable. I also got really sad when they removed the Starbucks from the mall! It was my favorite. If you want a better, bigger mall to go to, I would go to Barton Creek Mall. read more

Lakeline mall, just inside Cedar Park. I've seen some changes with this mall of stores coming and going. Came today to shop at American Eagle, and to my disappointing surprise, they were gone. This is hands down my favorite shopping mall in the community. Lakeline Mall is the perfect size--not overwhelming, yet still packed with everything you need. It's great for shopping, browsing, and even grabbing a bite to eat when you want to make a full outing of it. The variety of stores is impressive, with options for everyone from babies to adults, plus entertainment to keep things fun. I love coming here for casual dining, a little retail therapy, and just walking around. The mall is clean, well maintained, and clearly cared for, which makes every visit pleasant. The days of shopping malls have always been numbered, but somehow Lakeline Mall still stands. The anchor stores are still standing strong. More than 70% of the shops inside are chain stores. The food court has good offerings. There are the standard trap carts that will stop you as you walk on the ground floor, but they are easily ignored. A bonus about coming here as opposed to the Domain is the obvious fact that everything is inside. It gets very hot here in Austin, and honestly, if it's 100 degrees or more outside, and the store I want to go to is both at the Domain and here, Lakeline is getting my business. There's a lot of parking. If you plan in advance for the businesses you want to patronize, you can park on the correct side of the mall. In all, this is a solid place to shop. read more

I loved the Tesla test drives you can do right at the mall! I was able to pick between a Model Y or a Model 3 Tesla to drive full self driving. FSD was incredibly smooth and the Tesla team were very friendly when I approached them to ask for a test drive on the spot. They made time for me to take a car out of my choice right away! Spent a half hour trying it out. Ended up buying one from this experience! read more

If malls had a place to go before they die, this is it. This mall is an old lady who has lived at the trailer park and has so many trinkets and what not from the 70's and 80's strewn about her trailer as she smokes Virginia slim menthols and tries to pay the local kids to run to the store to get her another pack. The food court is beyond sad. No real variety and nothing really calls out to you. When Chick Fil A won't even show up at a mall, we know it's on the death march. The stores are trying - they're struggling, but they're trying. There's even a new one opening up that looks to be filled with collegiate swag. There's a movie theater that is nice, but also in need of some upgrades. There's an Auntie Annie's here, so they have that going for them. I'm pretty sure this, too, will be an ACC campus sometime in the next 10 years. read more

I came to the mall today to escape the heat. I brought my beautiful support dog with me and we walked the entire mall. It is such a pleasant place to be. It is very clean. All the employees I spoke to were very kind. This mall has a great selection of interesting stores, such as JC Penny and Hollister. There are 2 levels and there are both escalators and an elevator. They have a very generous food court with an open bar in the center. I really like this small and I will be back. read more

To be honest, it's kind of hard to do a mall review since there are so many different businesses and attributes to list, so I'll let the photos included spell out most of it. We got here in the middle of the day on a Saturday and there was plenty of seating in the food court and lots of room to move around. Near the food court you'll find a Starbucks and a Cantina that sells frozen margaritas. The three anchor stores are Dillards, Macy's and JCPenney's. I have to admit I was impressed with the fact that there were virtually no stores shuttered like other malls I've seen. There are an abundance of jewelry stores and some hairstylists as well. Along with movie theaters you'll also find an inflatable wonderworld for the kids. This is one of most vibrant malls I've seen and it was worth the drive. read more

I showed up early the night before a Pokémon release at GameStop in Lakeline Mall, arriving at 10 PM to be first in line. I stayed overnight, captured everything on video, and was even told by mall security that we were in the correct place and everything would be fine. That turned out to be a complete lie. There was zero organization, and when the director finally arrived in the morning, he made a plan that made sense -- but the rest of the staff seemed completely unaware of it. It felt chaotic and unfair. Thirty minutes before opening, I had no confirmation that my place in line was being honored despite being first and waiting overnight. To make things worse, it was obvious that employees were setting product aside for themselves -- the number of boxes noticeably dropped as more workers showed up, which was incredibly shady and frustrating to see as a paying customer who waited all night. I've avoided GameStop for years due to these exact kinds of experiences, but I gave it one last shot -- and I was reminded why I stopped going in the first place. I will never return to this location and would strongly caution anyone else thinking about shopping at GameStop Lakeline Mall. Customers deserve better than this. read more

Not a Dead Mall It was another day to explore a part of Austin I have not been in a long while and today was Lakeline Mall. It has been years visiting this mall and the outside still looked dated like other indoor malls. But in walking inside a renovation must have taken where it was bright and refreshing. I counted only two retail stores closed which was surprising in this turbulent economic times after Covid. Most of the stores looked local and geared to younger shoppers. The food court looked much larger and did have a few vendors closed (for the day), many again looked local besides Chick-fil-A and Starbucks. The tables were kept very clean by a crew. In the mall I only saw one restaurant but was closed. If you are looking for popular stores like Apple, Nordstrom, or Lego then won't find them here. The local stores did had some interesting items for sale and from other far away countries. It was fun exploring them. The mall was really busy. Whoever is in charge is doing a great job keeping stores open, filling in dead spots, and knowing their customer base. Now I know where to purchase a quinceañera dress, Chinese lucky cat, and Squid Game cookie. read more

This is a complete running mall. Moving to Texas from California, it's surprising to see a full running mall. The stores are still busy. People are going restaurants here. Macys, Dillards and JCPenny have lots of foot traffic. Just how it was before the pandemic lockdowns. We arrived here because my Mom was in desperation looking for a gown for a Formal attire 60th anniversary. My mom finally found one in Macys and I think she still wants to look for another one. But that was the main reason. I wish I remember the store that's located on a corner in the mall near JCPenny. We got slippers 2 for $20z. Great deal. I like this mall. read more

All the cool kids have been doing it since the mid-90s. Most of the stores have cycled multiple times, but you can always count on quality retail for your shopping experience. The food court always has yummy food, and security is always on patrol. The janitors do a good job of keeping the mall clean. It's one of the ancient relics of the olden days, an indoor mall, which I still love because being in Texas, during the summer being in an outdoor mall is not all that being sweaty, grounds hot and looking like I just ran a whole mile from the parking lot to the main doors. Tons of stores for all varieties and a decent food court with revolving businesses that pop up here and there on occasion. There are nice spaces for little kids to play and a train station which takes you all the way around the mall ground floor. The only thing I dislike are the cart hawkers who harass you on commission for selling merch, bleh! Lots of folks come in to play Pokémon, meander and mingle. Teeny boppers love getting to hang with their friends and watching a movie at the AMC, what's not to like? Great space for all and smoothies and bubble tea too! read more

I remember when this mall was built. That was 30 years ago. It was a bustling place and was good for shopping. Today? Two of the big anchor stores have gone out and there are mainly teens who frequent this place. And teens dont have money. This mall will be going the same way Highland Mall went. The food court is lacking a true anchor since Chick-Fil-A is gone and it seems like there are consistently a few escalators that are not functioning which is a thorn in their side. I don't usually go to malls often, but when I do it's this one or Barton Creek mall. This mall has been around since 1995 (I believe) and I have a lot of memories of coming here to shop, dine and watch a movie. Parking is great and stress free. There is a Farmer's Market out here on Saturdays from 9am-1pm. This mall is managed by the Simon Property Group. This means you go to Simon.com and check out the store directory, events happening at the mall, map, hours of operation, sign up for savings or just download the Simon app to view other malls/outlets in the area. The last time I came here there was a talent show going on here. Yesterday there was a hot tub expo. Pretty cool to see the different events happening here and how they continue to maintain this mall. Check out the newly renovated movie theater here. Power reclining seats. Awesome! It's cool to see another AMC Theatre in the area since this area is dominated by Cinemark. read more

The river always tells me the truth, but I'm tired of the Lakeline to me. This is an old 80s style Mall way out in distant northwestern suburb of Cedar Park in the Austin area. Our hotel was twice close to this mall, so we stopped by and it wasn't too bad. Not one of our favourite malls and definitely nowhere near as fancy as places like The Domain, but it serves its purpose, and as you can see Barbie serves her purpose of being incredibly sexy while she was in here with me. read more

I went to Lakeline mall today to go to Bath & Bath works while in route to the store we noticed many people walking around with no mask on and no one enforcing the state/City ordinance. This is very disturbing because you would think that they would be on top of this and that they would not want the small or economy to be shut down again. If Wal Mart and HEB is making this happen why can't they? Maybe they need to be reported to the city or state. read more

It's pretty dirty and a lot of the stores and restaurants are closed down. Chickfila is being remodeled and it's taking months. Also everything costs extra for the kids to play at inflatable wonderland and on the little rides. It used to be better and cleaner years ago but it's gone down hill. This mall is pretty empty compared to other malls. There are stores, it's not a ghost town, but it's not super busy. This is a two-story mall but every time I've been here the escalators are not functioning on both sides which is annoying. There is an elevator but it's in the middle of the mall. Again it's not a big mall but it is a bit annoying. The stores are basic with nothing really unique here. The carpet on the floor really desperately needs to be cleaned. The parking situation is pretty easy as it's empty most of the time I've been here. It's nice to walk here and sometimes you can find some good deals at Bath and Bodyworks, or the strangely still existing FYE but I'd rather go somewhere else for real shopping. read more

About once or twice a month we come to the mall to meet friends for lunch in the food court and to hunt Pokemon. However, this has become less and less pleasant. Why? Because the restrooms are filthy. This past Sunday (July 29, 2023) there was little toilet paper, no hand soap, and only one paper towel dispenser was working. The floors were extremely dirty, and the entire restroom stank of old urine. I don't think the floors had been mopped in ages, the walls were splashed and dirty, and several sinks were clogged with standing water in them. Leaving the women's restroom, I could see a wide and thick trail of dirty footprints coming out of the men's restroom and into the hallway. My husband reported that the men's room was also dirty and had no toilet paper, soap, or paper towels. Really, Lakeline, you used to be a nice place in a nice area - you can do better than this! read more

Back to the mall for the holiday season.... Needed to get our shop in... with 3 kids in toe... yikes! I figured we were in for it! The mall was busy!! Holiday shopping abound... we went from spot to spot and looked and looked and in the end... got a bit of what we wanted. However we were hampered by 3 children, from doing what we really needed to do... power shop! Just not going to happen... so we switched to kids mode... and this mall had the right stuff! A bungee jump! Wow what complete fun! A candy island ... not a great parent move but necessary all the same... a ride on a train and a trip to build a Bear! As a parent this is what Christmas is about... fun and memories! We ended up with bunches of both! Lakeline... thank you for making it possible to have a family experience here... we will just get our shop on again tomorrow instead... without the kids! read more

I love all indoor malls with good deals. The mall is smaller than Barton Creek Square I like that one much better. I didn't love the food court because Panda Express was closed....However there was chick-fil-a but no 2 meat and rice or noodle joints I love those. I always find the weirdest Austin people at the malls. While I was shopping, random people were staring at me. Like, walking up to me and just staring??? I was shopping with a group of friends and they assured me that I didn't have anything in my teeth or something on my face. I don't understand Austonians. Like every mall nowadays, half the stores are closing down or are only open for a few hours on certain days of the week. The only reason that I'm giving this mall an entire two stars is because I enjoyed going here when there when there were more successful businesses and there are a few good places at the food court like Phil's Philly Grill and Smoothies Paradise. Never seen such a mall, a Simon mall, so unkept on the outside and dirty on the inside. Wow!!! Disgusting. Disgraceful. Shameful. Let alone the closed stores and junky stores. Terrible. Run down. Unkept. What a missed opportunity. No wonder the GOOD stores abandoned it. If I was Simon I would be utterly embarrassed to have my name on it. Simon equals poor quality. Simon, shame on you.
