    Yummy fajitas! Yummy adult beverages!

The place is beautiful! We were a little early for sunset but the view was amazing! We had the shrimp and beef fajitas with some adult beverages. Everything was fresh and yummy! The fajitas were hot and delivered quickly! Molly our server was awesome! Go see Molly and enjoy your visit!

It's the best spot to watch the sunset in Austin IMO, the view is more breathtaking compared with that from the Mount Bonnel. And I really love the view of the golden sunlight spreading over the lake.

You come to this place for the views and the vibe. The food is decent, but overpriced. If you've never been you have to go on a nice day

Amazing view! It honestly looks straight out of the movies. I don't travel to Austin often but if you're in Austin you should definitely stop here. The only issue is that the food is not the best and the bathrooms either. Staff was very nice and friendly. If you don't want to go in the restaurant you can always visit the shops surrounding.

People go to the Oasis for the view. The food is just okay and their beer selection is eh (although they do have a pretty extensive list of cocktails and margaritas!). The service when I was there was fantastic. The waiting time for a table is CRAZY. So the view is great. But here's the thing: instead of waiting 30 minutes to 2+ hours for a table at the Oasis, where the drinks are fine and the food is fine and the view is great, you can go NEXT DOOR to the Oasis Texas Brewing Company, where there is NO WAIT, an equally amazing view, AWESOME local craft beer, a food truck, and GAMES.

Oasis is only great for the beautiful view of lake Austin. The food is very very plain, mediocre, and over priced. The place is a bit gaudy and I guess it fits the "keep austin weird" vibe but I would've much rather preferred if the area had been well-kept and clean. However, the area is beautiful for an overlook of lake Travis and it's a good idea to visit oasis at least once.

If you're not from Texas, this is one of the touristy spots you should visit. Make sure you bring a special lock to hook onto the fence and check out the shops. Also, come when the sun is about to set. Photos and videos will look good.

    Gorgeous sunset view!

There is a Yelp site for OASIS TEXAS Shopping Center and an OASIS TEXAS Restaurant so it looks a bit confusing. I came to the Oasis Texas Shopping Center purely to see the view and the sunset. The area has quite a lot of parking so I believe you'll be able to find parking in no time. The shopping center is really cutely designed! There are restaurants, coffee shops, and small little stores that you can explore for boots and other interesting items! We came here to watch the sunset. Next to the Oasis Restaurant, there is an AMAZING area where you can see an incredible view in the Austin area. You can see the lake with many beautiful homes right around them! The view itself is fabulous all the time but I definitely recommend coming here to catch the sunset. Great area to take pictures and definitely soak in what Austin has got to show!

What a great place to spend an afternoon and evening! It's tucked away and a bit of a drive from the main city. I loved the view, I would say that is truly the main attraction here. There's a few places to eat and a few shops. It's unfortunate however to see quite a few empty shop spaces, but I guess that's not really rare these days. Regardless, this is definitely a place to check out on your Austin adventure.

The view is gorgeous but I wouldn't recommend eating here. The service is terrible, the wait time was like an hour and then the waitress took forever to get our order and food. The food is overpriced and there's nothing special about it. Honestly, my suggestion is to just come walk around, visit the shops nearby, enjoy the view, and save your wallet and time and eat elsewhere.

    Neat statue outside the restaurant!

This place is truly about the environment and atmosphere! Overlooking the lake and having the water view, makes this place so beautiful. Other than the views, this place is nothing too special. The food is average and there are so many tables in the restaurant, I can't imagine going during busy hours. It was late afternoon when I came with a group of people so I don't think the server had many tables. The restaurant is full of eclectic statues, lots of conversation starters! And many good picture opportunities. Would love to come back and go to the brewing portion of Oasis and have a nice Austin beer over the deck.

If you're looking for the restaurant (The Oasis), see also: http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-oasis-austin-10 This "Oasis Texas" is, apparently, the entire venue that includes restaurant, brewery, and local shops. Follow the link above for the restaurant specific Yelp page.

The view is defiantly the best thing here like stated on every single review about this place . The food is mediocre nothing to brag about. But sunsets at this place are amazing and worth the drive and a few drinks. I really can't recommend what to eat but the roof top bar is a great spot for having a beer.

Apparently, this august management team took away wine carriers because customers were putting items other than wine into these special receptacles of happiness and they felt they were losing money (I know it's trivial but...). This HEB is dead center in one of the most affluent parts of Austin. It is also host to a proportionate number of day drinking soccer moms and career frustrated dads that appreciate their wine and olive oil carriers in one convenient delivery mechanism. The Austin City Council has already made it more difficult to shop by taking away plastic bags, now HEB is worried about profit margins on wine sherpas. You are already too expensive, limited, and crowded. Why make it harder to shop? Sprouts and Trader Joe's just make it easy. Remember, it's the small things that make a difference.
