A few newer shops I hadn't seen since my last visit and a few others that have since closed, but the old loves remained including the amazing Restoration Hardware here that is FOUR stories and loaded with every pretty thing you could ever want. Also some higher end jewelry stores like Gucci and David Yurman here. This is a huge complex with several parking decks and areas and it was extremely crowded by around noon-1pm on a Sunday. Great place to have lunch and shop - that RH is the thing of dreams!

I had a friend who lived in one of them, and when I came to visit, it was a pretty nice unit! They have community areas with BBQ grills, pool tables, stoves, etc. if you're hosting a get together or something. The Domain does also have a bunch of parking garages that are all color assigned, and are free to park at. They're all pretty easy to navigate, and there are maps all around the shopping center too. Overall, if you are looking to buy something in person or just like window shopping/want a place to hang that is pretty clean and also has bars/restaurants, the Domain is a pretty solid area to check out!

This industrial complex is located next to the Missouri Pacific train yard, and it boasts multiple warehouse buildings. Most of the buildings adorn murals painted by local artists, expressing the vibe and warmth of an artists and locally owned business park. There is something for everyone here.

Some of the stores in the mall are decent, there's Hollister, Pacsun, Aeropostale, Journey's, American Eagle, Pink, ect. (which are the ones I normally visit). There are some stores on the other hand that aren't great and to be honest most of the stores are pretty underwhelming. I would say most of the people working here are nice and chill but aren't interested in small talk (I can't blame them they're just there to do their job). The food is fine, I normally never get the food though because I don't really trust mall food if I'm being real. If you come here to have fun, I'm sure you'll find somewhere even though the mall is pretty boring. You'll see in the photos I put that there escalators are broken and they have been broken for months "temporarily" out of order? More like permanently out of order. Honestly my favorite part of the mall has to be the AMC movie theater the food is overpriced but I will say the theater is clean, has a good selection of movies, and is comfortable. I also got really sad when they removed the Starbucks from the mall! It was my favorite. If you want a better, bigger mall to go to, I would go to Barton Creek Mall.

Gateway Shopping Center has been a cornerstone of Northwest Austin shopping for decades. Gateway…read morehas been part of our shopping routines for decades of living in the area. Conveniently located at the intersection of Research Boulevard and Capital of Texas Highway, its easy accessibility from multiple directions has made it a familiar destination for generations of local residents. Over the years, Gateway has evolved alongside the community, with longtime shoppers witnessing the arrival and departure of retailers such as Star Furniture, Marie Callender's, Saks Off 5th, and Conn's. Today, it remains a vibrant hub serving nearby neighborhoods and apartment communities throughout the Capital of Texas corridor. The center offers a well-balanced mix of national retailers and everyday essentials, anchored by Nordstrom Rack, REI, Amazon, Whole Foods Market, and Best Buy. Value-focused shoppers can also browse favorites like J.Crew Factory (my personal fav) and Old Navy. When it's time to take a break, dining options such as Ichi Umi Sushi, Panera Bread, and Whole Foods provide convenient spots to recharge. In addition, you can see a movie at Regal Gateway, for further relaxation. Services offered at the Gateway Best Buy Geek Squad, bridal services at David's Bridal and specialized shoe services at Red Wing. Beyond shopping, Gateway Shopping Center plays a meaningful role as a gathering place. Seasonal events like carolers, pop-up farmer's markets, and community programming bring the space to life year-round.
