No negative issues. Nice places to shop. Parking was good. Wasn't too crowed but went on a Thursday.

The Domain is now a sought-after destination - where shopping (casual and high-end), dining, night life and other fun experiences converge. You can go shopping, meet a friend for happy hour, or do something completely fun and adventurous in the course of the day or evening. One of my Finance groups hosts a monthly Finance meeting at The Domain. Shopping...some of my favorite fun stores are at the Domain such as J. Crew and Anthropologie. I love these two stores because they have unique goods at great prices, in general, and specifically, have amazing sales. If you are a big baller, you can shop at stores like Neiman Marcus, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Tiffany's and whole host of other high stores. I'm a tiny baller. Smile. Dining - At the Domain you can get reasonably priced foods to high end fare. Some of my favorite places to dine in the Domain include Glorias, Flower Child, Paul Martin's and Haywire. Important to note, most restaurants have great happy hours and associated amazing prices. Nightlife - Some say that The Domain (especially on Rock Rose Avenue) is the new 6th Street (known for its bars and Live music). I would not venture out that far. However, if you want to party in the wee hours of the night, you can do it at The Domain. Fun Experiences - You can transport yourself to fun such as IPIC movie theatre, Museum of Illusion or the Battle of the Games. Last weekend I discovered the Barkin Creek Dog Kitchen & Bath...so, The Domain is not only for humans. Love The Domain...I am sure I will see you there!

When you think of the Arboretum, you likely think of businesses from Capitol of Texas Highway and Research Blvd including Great Hills Trails and Jollyville Road areas. This area has evolved over the 25+ years we have lived nearby. Some anchor stores include the Cheesecake Factory, Soma, and Chico's in one section of the Arboretum. Another Area include Target, Jason's Deli and World Market. The Arboretum also includes stores like Hallmark, La Madeline and TJ Maxx (for all the Maxinistas). The Renaissance Hotel is a notable hotel used for special events and conferences and has been around as long as I can remember. You can find just almost anything in this area of the city. We lost some key businesses like TGIF, Macaroni Grill, Pier 1 Imports and Gap. However, places like Trader Joe's and Modern furniture have been great additions. The mix of stores is nicely balanced between... local and national level businesses. The layout is especially walkable with places to sit and relax. The green space at the Arboretum is truly a highlight from picnic areas near Amy's ice cream to the Arboretum duck pond. The Arboretum offers a plethora of business to frequent. The Arboretum, in general, has moderately priced goods and great customer service. We welcome you to try our niche of Austin.

Restaurants, cafes, and coffee shops. Outdoor areas to relax and stroll (Arboretum Duck Pond) on walking trails and tree-lined streets. Conveniently located at the intersection of Research Boulevard and Capital of Texas Highway, its easy accessibility from multiple directions has made it a familiar destination for generations of local residents. Over the years, Gateway has evolved alongside the community, with longtime shoppers witnessing the arrival and departure of retailers such as Star Furniture, Marie Callender's, Saks Off 5th, and Conn's. Today, it remains a vibrant hub serving nearby neighborhoods and apartment communities throughout the Capital of Texas corridor. The center offers a well-balanced mix of national retailers and everyday essentials, anchored by Nordstrom Rack, REI, Amazon, Whole Foods Market, and Best Buy. Value-focused shoppers can also browse favorites like J.Crew Factory (my personal fav) and Old Navy. When it's time to take a break, dining options such as Ichi Umi Sushi, Panera Bread, and Whole Foods provide convenient spots to recharge. In addition, you can see a movie at Regal Gateway, for further relaxation. Services offered at the Gateway Best Buy Geek Squad, bridal services at David's Bridal and specialized shoe services at Red Wing. Beyond shopping, Gateway Shopping Center plays a meaningful role as a gathering place. Seasonal events like carolers, pop-up farmer's markets, and community programming bring the space to life year-round.
