    10/25/21 Low stock today

10/25/21 Quality/Quantity - Huge supermarket with bathrooms. MT Supermarket. Plenty of parking. Supposed to be a lot of live seafood, which would have been the highlight of the market. Endless ramen selection, which was my highlight. Good rest stop. Good to check out Austin's "Chinatown"; which is basically a supermarket. We enjoyed the options at this market, but did NOT plan to do any cooking. Atmosphere - Unless you need to go grocery shopping, there is really nothing here. A pagoda with some statues, good for picture taking so you can say you have been there, LOL. Some non-functioning fountains in front of the market. Service - N/A Price - Supermarket prices seemed reasonable. Owner Suggestion - You have so much potential here. I would revisit your business plan and utilize your square footage better. I would add a few supporting department; Chinese deli/prepared foods, bakery, pharmacy, dry goods, spices, health and beauty, floral/garden, etc.

Barbie was complaining that our Chinatown back home in Houston is better, so I Center home. People don't realize that Austin does indeed have a Chinatown, way north of the city, and it's pretty cool. Definitely heavy on the Vietnamese stuff, with that being the main focus of the area. We like it, but it doesn't compare to Dallas, which itself doesn't really compare to Houston, so that is the caveat.

Ni Hao, I absolutely love this place. I just can't see everything in one trip. The prepared Bin Bao is convenient and scrumptious. Everything I need and enjoy can be found here. Strongly recommend coming here for an array of tasty Asian cuisine choices.

When I opened the door of my car, I smelled some Asian food.I guessed that it was coming from the supermarket.Anyway, Welcome to Austin Chinatown,it says "Chinatown".It looked like Asian town.Actually, I saw many Vietnamese-related business here. I was looking for FIT, Japanese dollar-store.I found a sign, but it was empty.I checked Yelp, The last review was in 2018.They might close in the last year.I missed it. I took a selfie at the gate. It's an icon of the Chinatown.Hope Growth of Asian business in Austin.

I guess this is the only good place to come for Asian food. Place is like a mall with around a dozen of asian stores varying from hardware to food and drinks. The pricing are reasonable. Not to expensive as you would expect from a non-big asian population place. I'd definitely come here more often to do my grocery shopping and eat out from time to time.

The Chinatown Center on N. Lamar Blvd is a place I end up at very often since my wife is Chinese. She goes to the MT market almost every week. We have tried all the current restaurants in the center. I will review them individually when I have the time. However, my favorite is TC Noodle House my wife's favorite is 1st BBQ. The newest restaurant to open is the Fortune Seafood where Kim Son used to be. They have ample parking very large lot. They have Chinese, Vietnam and Korean stores and restaurants. They have travel agencies and hair salons as well as the large supermarket. Definitely worth at least one visit, if you've never been before.

The Domain is now a sought-after destination - where shopping (casual and high-end), dining, night life and other fun experiences converge. You can go shopping, meet a friend for happy hour, or do something completely fun and adventurous in the course of the day or evening. One of my Finance groups hosts a monthly Finance meeting at The Domain. Shopping...some of my favorite fun stores are at the Domain such as J. Crew and Anthropologie. I love these two stores because they have unique goods at great prices, in general, and specifically, have amazing sales. If you are a big baller, you can shop at stores like Neiman Marcus, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Tiffany's and whole host of other high stores. I'm a tiny baller. Smile. Dining - At the Domain you can get reasonably priced foods to high end fare. Some of my favorite places to dine in the Domain include Glorias, Flower Child, Paul Martin's and Haywire. Important to note, most restaurants have great happy hours and associated amazing prices. Nightlife - Some say that The Domain (especially on Rock Rose Avenue) is the new 6th Street (known for its bars and Live music). I would not venture out that far. However, if you want to party in the wee hours of the night, you can do it at The Domain. Fun Experiences - You can transport yourself to fun such as IPIC movie theatre, Museum of Illusion or the Battle of the Games. Last weekend I discovered the Barkin Creek Dog Kitchen & Bath...so, The Domain is not only for humans. Love The Domain...I am sure I will see you there!

When you think of the Arboretum, you likely think of businesses from Capitol of Texas Highway and Research Blvd including Great Hills Trails and Jollyville Road areas. This area has evolved over the 25+ years we have lived nearby. Some anchor stores include the Cheesecake Factory, Soma, and Chico's in one section of the Arboretum. Another Area include Target, Jason's Deli and World Market. The Arboretum also includes stores like Hallmark, La Madeline and TJ Maxx (for all the Maxinistas). The Renaissance Hotel is a notable hotel used for special events and conferences and has been around as long as I can remember. You can find just almost anything in this area of the city. We lost some key businesses like TGIF, Macaroni Grill, Pier 1 Imports and Gap. However, places like Trader Joe's and Modern furniture have been great additions. The mix of stores is nicely balanced between... local and national level businesses. The layout is especially walkable with places to sit and relax. The green space at the Arboretum is truly a highlight from picnic areas near Amy's ice cream to the Arboretum duck pond. The Arboretum offers a plethora of business to frequent. The Arboretum, in general, has moderately priced goods and great customer service. We welcome you to try our niche of Austin.

I usually try not to write bad reviews, but this was very concerning to me…read more Today, when I went to visit this location and attend a event there I asked to use the bathroom adjacent to the hockey ring. There were two security guards, a short one and a tall one. The short one was friendly and opened the door. Apparently they have locks on the bathroom doors now. The the second taller security guard named Joe, who I believe is autistic, FOLLOWED ME INTO THE BATHROOM. Without me realizing it, he was WATCHING ME PEE from behind waiting for me to finish. I thought he needed to use the urinal so I stepped aside as I was done. I went to wash my hands, HE THEN FLUSHED THE TOLIET for me as if I'm a five-year-old, not knowing what to do. I thought it was a joke. I think he was trying to keep the place very clean. Needless to say this is where it started to get creepy. As I was drying my hands, I joked with him about the heavy security, and what was he doing following me into the bathroom? He then in a stone cold almost robotic tone, asked me to leave the property that I was now trespassing. Now I came to this location for an event around the corner at that same location. There's multiple businesses here. There were no signs for my event. That's why I asked for directions and then I needed to use the bathroom. There is nothing outside the realm of weird in me doing any of this. I drive a nice vehicle, and I was properly dressed for the event. At that point, he began following me to the parking lot. I asked him "what are you doing, I am going to my event" he said you need to leave, I laughed, and I said yes trust me I am leaving. And he was also filming me with his phone. (who is this guy and who hired him?) and said he was calling the police on me. At this point, we had crossed into the world of weirdness and I asked him I need to see your superior. I mentioned this to the other security guard working who pretended to be his superior. He didn't think it was very big deal or outside the realm of strange. I'm a grown adult and this was bizarre. I'm not some homeless person. I was dressed nicely, and these two people were acting like I was some homeless person camping out in the bathroom I don't know who runs that place but both of the security guards need to be fired immediately. I felt very shaken up afterwards I have never been treated like that. There's no excuse. I can only imagine what travesty of justice actually happens here I wasn't shaken up because I done something wrong. I was shaken up because this 6' 5" autistic person has some role of authority, and he should not be working at this job whatsoever. He had no emotion when he spoke with me. I'm not kidding when I say he was like a robot. It was creepy. I was more worried for the women and children that attend the hockey ring next-door, and may have a similar experience with this nut job who again followed me into the bathroom and watched me pee and proceeded to tell me I was now trespassing after I was done. I've seen this before people buy a piece of property and then they have some management company who doesn't know what they're doing oversee and manage it. The actual owner of the businesses and property have no idea what really happens here If that's how this business operates, you need to sell your business it's not appropriate. This is Austin, Texas not California. We don't treat people like that here. I have nothing against autistic people, but in this case and point this gentleman should not have any authority. He should be bagging groceries and maybe not even working with the public.
