I went to sell my clothes and they said it would take about an hour so that was not a problem, they said I would get a cal when my clothes were ready, perfect. An hour passes no call an hour and a half passes so I call and ask about my drop off. They said mine was next and it would take about 30 minutes to an hour. So again I wait and wait, and I didn't leave the place because they said it was only going to take an hour. After another hour and a half goes by I was fed up with this. I walk in and I see one of the employees going through bag #7 which was weird because my bag was #6 and i hadn't been called. So I asked if yall arent done can I please have my clothes back, you could see she was visibly irritated, she gives my clothes back and I left. If you're wanting to sell your clothes here think again I try my best to be patient because I know that they have other customers and things come up but 3 hours for 2 small bags of clothes is insane. They really need to get some buyers who KNOW WHAT STUFF IS. They didn't buy some Union Los Angeles Nike ACG Moc shoes because she "couldn't authentic them" yet they have some dirty, muddy, regular basic ACG on the shelf. You can't have buyers that don't even know current designers and specialty collaborations working in the intake. Their knowledge of fashion is laughable. I'm pretty sure they use AI to identify things because they can't use common sense and or Google. The designer bags are all typical basic labels. As others have noted here, what they pay you for your clothes isn't worth your time. I have taken 40 items and got paid $20 dollars, and another time I took about 45 items and was paid $15 dollars, and all my stuff was like new, I even had a new pair of Michael Kors shoes with the price tag still on them. How they justify their pricing is pathetic, they obviously want your clothes, or they wouldn't take them, but don't want to pay you anything for it. Go to Uptown cheapskate, they pay the best for used clothes, then Clothes Mentor is a second to that. Don't even bother with 2nd Street, just donate them and take the tax write off. read more

The store is set up really well. It's really clean, there's good differentiation of the sections of clothes, and the staff at the register was extremely professional, friendly, and polite. Their prices were a little high on some stuff, but also really low on a lot of other stuff. I actually found a Ralph Lauren Collection, purple label silk knit cardigan for only $19, it probably retiled for 1000 or more. Highly recommend, and will visit again! read more

Like other reviewers said, this store needs people who know how to evaluate the value of products correctly. I brought in brand new clothes with tags still attached and leather shoes in boxes of well known brands. They literally quoted me $.10-$1.00 each. Yes $.10-$1.00. I was floored. I took everything back and decided to donate them to charity. I was really surprised because as I walked around the store to look at what they are selling, and some of the same things I was looking to sell was there, and mind you those items were used, they were selling for $20-$50. The people there make no sense. Just be prepared to offered very, very little for whatever you bring in. read more

What a scam!!! I brought a large bag of mostly new with tags items of various brands ranging from Forever21 to AE, Jcrew, Abercrombie etc, into the store. They called me within 45 minutes and when I came into get "cashed out" they offered to buy all 35 items for $3.50!!!!!! Basically a whole entire penny for each item!! Are you kidding me?? What a joke and seriously offensive! They said they are giving me a penny each so they can donate everything! Again new with tag items!!! You truly expect me to believe you are "donating" them?? Found out about this place due to tiktok and it was an absolute waste of time driving over there. Don't bother wasting your time bringing your items in here unless you're prepared for them to completely low ball you. My friend and I brought in brands ranging from Ann Taylor, J Crew & Coach just to be told they'd donate my items and give me 11 CENTS. They tried to give my friend $16 for 10 items and $8 for a coach bag. Just an absolute waste of time and gas. read more

This company's employees are inexperienced at best when it come to luxury goods authentication and anti social generation Z'ers at face value. I brought in a Goyard wallet to the Sunset Valley location near Austin when I was told to check back with them so they could consult their third party authentication system and I was meet with a non chalet shrug of the shoulders that the third party system could not progress with out a date code (which is on of the first things that can be counterfeited) These employees do not have any actual authentication experience they simply rely on a third party. Not only are the employees not actually trained in authentication but they seem to lack common sense to boot. Instead of bothering to look at any of the materials I brought in with the item the confused employee who seems to be one of the higher up just kept repeating "date code" the rest of the unfriendly employees followed suit in the confusion. Serious sellers and buyer in the luxury market should avoid this unprofessional establishment and stick with Rebag, 1st Dibs, or locally Moss etc... Sorry I wasted my time. read more

I tried selling to this store, several brand name clothing items, accessories, and shoes, including Brandy Melville, Vans, and Vineyard Vines. They offered to pay me LESS THAN $0.25, 10¢ if I remember correctly. I'm floored that they offered me not even a dollar for items that would SURELY be sold for some egregious price. On top of this, the workers were hardly friendly, pretentious in-fact. This thrift shop is far too expensive for any store that sells second hand products, yet won't buy for a reasonable price. I don't recommend selling or purchasing anything from here. You have a better shot at Plato's. read more
