There are some things the store does very well, and some areas that are clearly struggling. First, the space is much larger than the previous location. There is plenty of room for merchandise, and they seem to have many kind volunteers working there. The furniture and home goods section is organized fairly well. However, the shelves are extremely packed with merchandise, which may be related to the pricing. Many items feel overpriced for a community thrift store, which likely slows down how quickly things move off the shelves. The layout is also a bit confusing. It almost feels like two completely separate stores. Furniture and home goods are on one side, while clothing is in a different area. What makes it more unusual is that you cannot pay for clothing on the home goods side, or home goods on the clothing side. You also have to go outside to enter each section. It seems like this setup requires twice as many volunteers and makes the shopping experience less convenient. The pricing on the clothing side is actually very good, but the organization is quite poor. I found high-end men's shirts, such as Brooks Brothers, mixed in with women's clothing. There were several other similar examples of items being misplaced, which made browsing more difficult. I have visited multiple times before writing this review because I hoped that, after the expansion, the shopping experience would improve. Unfortunately, the store actually felt more organized in its old location than it does now.

That in itself told me that one hand knows what the other is doing, and it's obviously really organized. Second, when we went in the thrift store side, it smelled clean. On that side, they were super nice too, and my eBay purchase pick up was super smooth. Purchases that you make their go toward providing food for people who need services from the food pantry. Even the eBay purchases go toward that. I feel better about a purchase if something good comes out of it for somebody else too. That's important to me and my family. They offered me a whole $22 for - a brand new pair of Nikes that are over $100 a fur vest that's selling for $50-75 online a pair of fringe bell bottoms that are over $40 and a cropped tank that's over $20. Then claimed that they pay at least a third of the value. Last time I checked $22 is not a third of $200+ $8 for $100+ nikes? But yet everything in the place is priced high for used items. I understand businesses have to make a living but that was pathetic. Someone needs to look into who is buying and pricing the items.

This week I was so disappointed when I walked in to browse and seen a couple of the things I have Chris three times more than what they are worth, especially used. I am donating to help a certain demographic of people and if the Goodwill store I'm bringing my items too or trying to market off of that then I have no choice but to now start donating and smaller centers that are not franchised. This was terribly upsetting. It was all Personal willing to get up to help people, but this is not what they did with my donations. This is pure profit.

I have visited this store many times and have always enjoyed shopping here. I love finding unique…read moreclothing and trinkets, and until recently my experiences have always been positive. Over the past couple of months, however, I have noticed what appears to be a change in management at this location. The current manager is often rude not only to customers but especially to employees. On multiple occasions, I have witnessed him publicly reprimanding employees in front of customers, and when calling for staff members, his tone is frequently aggressive and unnecessarily loud. What makes this particularly unfortunate is that the employees themselves are consistently kind, helpful, efficient, and seem to do an excellent job. They are always quick to assist customers and contribute greatly to the positive atmosphere of the store. It is disappointing to see them treated in a manner that appears disrespectful and unprofessional. Despite these concerns, I still enjoy shopping at this store and would recommend it for its reasonably priced clothing, accessories, and unique finds. My hope is that management will take steps to foster a more respectful and supportive environment for both employees and customers.
