Dropped off donations here over the weekend and it was such an easy process. Not only was the process easy but they give you a coupon for donating to get 20% off your next purchase. Thank you!! I always find the best items at this location and for a reasonable price and the customer service is always great. read more

Here's something more for Jacque to laugh at. I can see there's no oversight to these reviews so, I will spell out completely what just happened, so you can laugh it off some more. I came in for a piece of furniture and had a survey coupon to use. Ironically, the survey expressed my poor service with Jacque being argumentative about coupon usage. I've been shopping at Savers probably since she was a little kid. Come to find today that I was right in doubling the coupons and was also able to use my 20% off coupon in addition to the survey one. Aside from that, employees were everywhere on the floor Fri 10/23 from 11-12pm. There happened to be a young man near the item I was buying and asked if he could help me load after I purchased it. He said "someone would be around to help me" deflecting my question about HIS help. So, the checkout process could have been better. The other young lady with glasses has always been professional and sweet but told me someone was ahead of me in line. I told her I did not see a line when I walked up. Jacque, being good at arguing, said that it wrapped around. So, the next person in line was not right near the registers when I walked up with the drawers from my item. Jacque crowed me and the other young lady who clearly was helping me and had it under control, instead of helping other customers in line. I was asked to move to a different register. I honestly didn't care as long as I didn't lose the person helping me. In hindsight, all including the person I supposedly cut in front of could have waited 30 seconds to a minute for the line to move and to start checking me out at the first register I walked up to without having to move. The young lady (not Jacque) offered to help hold my items while we waited for another register. Sweet to offer but, the drawers were NOT heavy at all. Just made for a very awkward checkout experience. So, the young lady helping me patiently waited while I got a coupon out of my car, and was thorough assisting me with my checkout while swiftly being attentive to others in line. I didn't feel like she was crowding me, like Jacque did. They wished me a good day when I walked out. I come back in to get the rest of my furniture and someone had moved it without telling me so, I start asking other associates to help. The older man from the back stepped in and asked some questions to which I told him no one explained anything to me or told me they would be moving it to the front. Still don't know who did that in the 1-2 minutes I took walking to my car after checkout. Not one person explained the process. The older man asked the front girls (Jacque and girl with glasses) and they pointed. At this point, I could see Jacque laughing and cover her mouth. When I collected my item I told them that some communication would be very appreciated. No offer from anyone to help load but, at this point after being laughed at, couldn't get out fast enough. I needed this item for Halloween and no time left to shop elsewhere. The item was so filthy I had to dust it off before loading my car and then when I got home. An associate could have helped me with that. Without the coupons, this would NOT have been worth the price but, even after plus the ongoing poor service from Jacque, this item should have been next to free. Hope Jacque gets a kick out of my reviews, since management is hands off. I will continue the saga on here with all my upcoming shopping experiences, knowing that no doubt Jacque will still be there. read more

It's a thrift store. I didn't find anything, but I was looking for some very specific things. Definitely better than Goodwill.

Excellent selection, tons of sizes, FULL of stuff. Need a Jansport backpack in amazing condition? They probably have it. Looking for cute sandals that are barely worn? They probably have it. Need some cute baby clothes? It's there. Men's shorts? Yep. Jeans in different styles? TONS! Need a dress for a wedding? They will have one for you. However...you won't be able to try anything on bc they DO NOT HAVE FITTING ROOMS! What?? The place is huge and they could absolutely stage some fitting rooms somewhere in this behemoth place. You might be thinking, "Oh, I'll just return whatever doesn't fit"--whelp, their return policy doesn't do them any favors either. You have to return items within two weeks for same-day store credit. AKA...you have to buy more that same day with your return credit. Everything has to have tags and you have to your receipt as well. Outside of that, great place, great selection, great location. read more

They are knowingly selling fake coach, fake Louie Vuitton, and fake Gucci asking crazy high prices for them. Savers used to be the best and now I'm thinking they are just like the rest of the thrift stores. Price gouging is real. read more

Well, it's the best option out of (literally) every thrift store in the Austin area. I did find a few items although it was still more expensive than what it's worth. In Los Angeles, I would walk out with a big bag of clothes and home decor; satisfied every time. Moving back here and realizing the state of thrift stores has been so disappointing. Anyways, if you are a size Small, like me, you will be disappointed. They have huge rows of clothing with extremely tiny sections for Small sizes. If you're a Medium+, then this is your playground. Pro: This is a great thrift store to check out for books, especially children's books. If I had kids, I would go here just for that. read more

Great selection just like in Vegas, but NO 50% OFF MONDAY...so beware. Looks like some of the same merch from Vegas too

Great place to go, it's very clean, completely organized and it has good prices. The people are very friendly,

This is a cute local thrift store. They're more affordable than Goodwill and they have a much bigger selection. There's lots of good finds with a neighborly store vibe. read more

This is now our go to place for a thrift store in Reno. We find higher end clothing than other thrift store but definitely at a higher price. Actually, I'm shocked at some of their prices but I will be honest that I have caved in on purchasing because again they are higher quality, name brand but at the same time I have not purchased so much because how high it was marked up. I also always check out the book section. Again, prices higher than most thrift store for soft cover. All their books, regardless if soft or hard back is $3.99. However, once again, I find myself finding such great titles. So here is what you do, if you pick 5 books, the 5th one is Free! So actually those books are costing $2.99 each. If you want to save more money with your purchases, sign up to be a member and you will get a text from time to time regarding getting an extra discount. Lastly, bring your own bags unless you would like to purchase bags from them. You can't take the shopping cart out. read more

they spray a Febreze like sent all over everything and it doesn't wash out. Alert this doesn't get rid of the dirt and grime! If you have to use something switch to the new Proof product, which doesn't smell. It's a waste of money to buy clothing that has been sprayed with this Febreze scent! I love the idea of thrifting! It saves money it saves the planet. Everything doesn't go to a landfill. read more

Not a good selection of teen or women's clothes. All good brands are missing. Way overpriced on clothing. Used kitchen appliances $20 and up. Zara dress $14.99. You get these items for free, give the consumer a break! Drove 40 minutes to check this store out, not going back. Chair in photo $34.99.....come on. read more

Clean and organized. Ok prices. Huge store. Seems picked over in the afternoon, though.

There used to be two Savers thrift stores in Austin and now there is just this one (for now). The building itself appears to have been an old Conn's appliance store so the inside is a pretty decent size. They have a huge selection of items. It is also very clean and organized. Everything is priced affordably here, hence the name "Savers". Be sure to ask about the color tag deal going on for that day, you could save up to %50 maybe even more! They also have a self checkout register, i've never seen this at any other thrift stores. Be sure to also sign up for their rewards program online. I would personally say this is one of the better thrift stores in Austin, so check it out if you get the chance. read more

We have these in Washington and Cali. We love these stores because they have good coupons sent in emails or by text.

I came to this Saver's based on Yelp reviews and for me it was hit or miss. The pros - easy to park, huge, clean store with helpful associates and lots of inventory. But the racks were all giving a bit samey. Loads of Old Navy, Target own brands and the odd item from Loft thrown in. Goodwill type prices. If you want higher end pieces and brands, this Savers isn't it. There was a decent amount of kids clothes and I did manage to get one of my kids some rain boots in good condition for only $3 read more

3.5 So I've driven by this place several times and had never realized what it was. After seeing people online praising it we went here yesterday. This place is full of stuff. It's not picked over and empty like other thrift places. I immediately went to the back and while there weren't the specific dolls I wanted after walking to the open shelves I immediately found two dolls still in their original packaging. Beat up but still, I grabbed them right away. The only issues are the slow check-out and the tiny parking lot. Either way, I was glad to find some cool things here. read more

We came here looking for luggage. This place had a really big parking lot . There was plenty of carts. This store is really big and had a lot of items fully stocked. We were able to find a lot of options and we did find a suitcase for $7 it was a great deal. read more

Haven't been to this Savers before. It's big, it's very clean, very organized. I was looking for Jean shorts. But I wanted to walk around and see what they had. A lot nice things. Prices were great I feel. A lot of name brand Jean shorts a large selection of sizes. I was pretty impressed. Prices were pretty good as well. I did find 2 Jean shorts. One was $4.99 the other $2.99 very please. read more

I was very bummed when the store moved from South Lamar North near Lakeline Mall . I live south. I've always lived south so I have made it a point every time I go north to stop by my favorite thrift store unfortunately the last time is gonna be the last time for me because their return policy is completely outrageous. The whole not accepting returns whatsoever and only accepting exchanges if you have the receipt makes it difficult enough on customers however, if you do have your receipt, but you do not have time to shop at that moment getting store credit is absolutely not an option so for a customer that has been a customer for many years And does not live near their store. I would think an exception could be made to get store credit so that I could use it at at a later date when I am north again. This was not even an option. It was an immediate no and no exceptions could be made Even when I explained that I live so far away no exception could be made and I find that extremely inconvenient and unfair to loyal customers. read more

I don't understand why there isn't any fitting rooms but other than that there are TONS of nice clothes. I probably won't shop for anything other than jackets or blazers since I can't try on anything. But I had a great experience today and both employees I came in contact with were super helpful and kind. Definitely recommend this place! read more

PROS: ------------ (1) It's a decent size (19,500sf, I measured). Not quite as large as the Goodwill on Lamar or Salvation Army on S. Congress, but not small, either. (2) Exceptionally well-organized. (3) Clean (4) Low prices, much lower than Goodwill. And frequent sales, 50% off certain color tags, rewards points from purchases, etc. CONS: ------------ No dressing rooms. For this alone I have to take off two stars. It's really hard to buy clothing without trying it on. read more

The prices have skyrocketed. These are donated and then priced as if regular retail store...it isvoutoricing me from frugal shopping on my strict budget. Many families were muttering the same dismay of the steep prices on things. read more

Deducting a star because they took the dressing rooms out..... seriously? Not very smart for a place that sells clothing.

It is the best thrift store I have ever visited. What I liked most was its organization, cleanliness and helpful friendly staff.

I've received some of my best thrifted pieces from this specific Savers. I would say that this Saver's is best for jackets and long sleeve clothes for men. It's quite larger than other Saver's I've been but I just wish that ambience was a little more lively. Not sure if it's only the Saver's that I visit but they all seem pretty stale and stoic in regards to the ambience. I think to take the place over the edge is to increase the ambience which would help with the overall shopping experience. read more

As a native Austinite, I have by choice (help the planet) and now necessity shopped at thrift stores. Savers was my favorite. Amazing and unique finds. You can shop for the entire home and everyone, pets included in this store. HOWEVER, they used to "reward" you with a 20% off coupon for your shopping trip if you brought in donations. . And I miss that, I donate all my families clothes or no longer used items! So for that reason solely I gave Savers one less star. But still a lovely thrift experience! read more

Love savers!! Tuesday is senior day we get 30% off. Has lots of everything. I always find something.

This store has a large selection of clothing and very cheap books and used jewelry. There's also a lot of junk.

This store is ok, pretty clean and organized. I went one time at night, and the cashier who checked me out wasn't very pleasant. Also, the prices are definitely higher than Goodwills for not having a better selection. However, the reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 3 or lower is because they purchase the items from non-profits, so I will always support a business that helps non-profits. read more

Went here in search of an item and ended up buying it along with a few other things I liked, I have to say this store completely ruined thrift stores like Goodwill for me. Savers is much more organized, with a larger selection. I collect Furbies of all generations and the Blue 2012 I got here was in excellent shape! No evidence of battery corrosion, and It's always a good day when the fur is clean enough that I don't have to take it off and hand wash it. The two shirts I got from here I washed before wear, though, just as a precaution. But the store was very clean altogether! P.S, Give Matt a raise. The tall one. read more

Love this store but my issue as a man trying to shop for clothes is not always easy.. I don't like that majority of the people searching for clothes is woman with large baskets shopping for their lazy husbands and boyfriends that dont want to go for them selves. I was curious how this location compared to the previous location on Burnet Rd. The size and selection of the store was just as fun. Although I've been to this new location once, I wonder if the area of the store gets as many unique donations as the central store did. Still, the prices are competitive and the time I spent there, which wasn't too, too long, is worth the shopping experience despite the north Austin location. read more
