Very big and clean thrift store. I found a couple really good pieces. Will be back here!

There are some things the store does very well, and some areas that are clearly struggling. First, the space is much larger than the previous location. There is plenty of room for merchandise, and they seem to have many kind volunteers working there. The furniture and home goods section is organized fairly well. However, the shelves are extremely packed with merchandise, which may be related to the pricing. Many items feel overpriced for a community thrift store, which likely slows down how quickly things move off the shelves. The layout is also a bit confusing. It almost feels like two completely separate stores. Furniture and home goods are on one side, while clothing is in a different area. What makes it more unusual is that you cannot pay for clothing on the home goods side, or home goods on the clothing side. You also have to go outside to enter each section. It seems like this setup requires twice as many volunteers and makes the shopping experience less convenient. The pricing on the clothing side is actually very good, but the organization is quite poor. I found high-end men's shirts, such as Brooks Brothers, mixed in with women's clothing. There were several other similar examples of items being misplaced, which made browsing more difficult. I have visited multiple times before writing this review because I hoped that, after the expansion, the shopping experience would improve. Unfortunately, the store actually felt more organized in its old location than it does now.

That in itself told me that one hand knows what the other is doing, and it's obviously really organized. Second, when we went in the thrift store side, it smelled clean. On that side, they were super nice too, and my eBay purchase pick up was super smooth. Purchases that you make their go toward providing food for people who need services from the food pantry. Even the eBay purchases go toward that. I feel better about a purchase if something good comes out of it for somebody else too. That's important to me and my family. I highly recommend this essential part of the community!

My wife was pressured into purchasing a curling iron, later that day she tried to return the curling iron and was informed they do not allow any refunds. I called to speak to the owner. The owner asked me if my wife was an adult and said no one forced her to buy anything at the store. I can only assume the owner trains her employees to utilize these tactics and pressures people into buying questionable quality items. Any place who sells high quality goods would have no qualms about allowing returns. I would advise everyone to steer clear of this location and do not walk into the store no matter what the sales pitch may be.

The girl proceeds to say she wants to show me something and it'll take 2 minutes, coercing me into the store (which had NO one in it and about 4 workers). Before I knew what was happening she sat me down in a chair, took down my hair and proceeds to straighten pieces of it with no heat protectant. I am worried she did some damage with how much steam i saw. Then proceeded to curl one piece on the other side. I started getting uncomfortable and realized where it was going so I stopped her and put my hair back up and grabbed my bag and indicated I was going to leave. She said she wanted to ask me one more thing before I left so i answered, and ended up keeping me there for 10 or more minutes. it was a constant cycle of her trying to sell me different things and throwing in free things or a discount and me having to repeatedly (and kindly) tell her no. She also insinuated that it was too expensive for me which i thought was so rude!! I'm a nice person and don't like having to tell people no more than twice so i got really annoyed and uncomfortable by the end. she tried to convince me again and gave me her card by saying next time i come in that it won't be such a good price anymore. I didn't buy anything-- it felt like a scam and offering a "lifetime warranty" wasn't very persuasive when they had no one in the store. 1/10 experience, don't waste your time by giving the benefit of the doubt like i did.
