My hairdresser, Mahnazsadat Hosseini, was fantastic-very skilled, caring, and made the experience comfortable and friendly. She took great care with my hair and even helped me choose a hair serum afterward. I haven't been here or to the mall in quite some time, we needed clothes and figured we would knock it all out hopefully in one location. It was pretty empty, the staff was helpful but persistent. It got to be a little annoying as we just wanted to shop, try on, and get out. I get it can be as bad not finding someone when you need it but the constant barrage and then the credit card pitch. I know it is not their fault and it doesn't help that both the wife and I hate shopping so we are never in the best of moods. They were nice but I am glad it will be awhile before we have to do this again. read more

I received great customer service on both of my visits. Also, despite being the holiday season, the store was clean and organized. It was very easy to find the products I wanted. At one point I was in a long line waiting to check out, but they staffed all four registers to move the line efficiently. Plus, all four of the employees were patient and showed no anxiety. I was offered the store credit card, and after declining there was no hard press to reconsider. The store was well-organized and clean. There is also a store map posted on each floor to direct you easily to the right department. I'm very pleased with my shopping experiences here. read more

I went in to JCPenney on 5/08/2024 I bought 2 pairs of Levi pants for $112.85. The employee a young Asian male (sorry that is the only description that I can give I didn't see a name tag) had told me that if I sign up with my email I automatically get $10 Cashback. Later on I also found out from the website that if you spent $50 or more before 5/27/24 you get a additional $10 Cashback. Fast forward to 5/22/24 I went in to exchange a pair for a different size. As I walked to the counter there was a elder woman in front of me who was returning some items herself. We were standing there for minutes as a Asian woman(sorry no name tag) was gazing into space not speaking or acknowledging us at all. Then a blonde Caucasian women came and asked if she could help me which she did even went out of her way to help me find a pair my size for the return. Then I went to look for a shirt for my sons graduation. As I returned to the counter I pulled up my phone to look for the reward points to show the employee ( the young Asian woman) who's associate number I believe is 0493 she said " I see nothing." The screen is all white with boxes.That's what their website looks like when you pull it up on your phone. I then said can you explain how I pull up my Cashback she said "I don't know?" As I stood there trying to figure it out or get some help she mentioned signing up for a credit 3 different times. By the third time I said no I told her I don't want another credit card if I did I would have when I bought the Levi's. I wanted to use the Cashback. She then said "at this point the shirt is $19.99 you don't have to get it." Being very rude and dismissive not trying to help a customer. No one was in line behind me. I then told her not to get hostile with me I came to shop not to be disrespected. Which she responded with a very condescending "iam so sorry." The blonde woman who helped with the exchange asked what happened? She heard everything when we spoke she basically confirmed that the employee is always like that. I walked out. Never again. This review is on the photography department of JCPenny. I want to start off by saying, I understand it's close to Christmas time and holiday hours and days can be long. However my experience(s) with this department at the Lakeline mall was terrible. My siblings and I book an appointment for my mothers Christmas present, just us kids. But we weren't successful on our two trips. Originally my siblings and I booked an appointment online 12/15/23. And not only was the appointment process super difficult. Upon arrival for appointment just minutes before our photos were gonna be taken we find out their camera had broke at walk in. No heads up on the way or anything just then and there we were told we had to reschedule and we politely understood and booked again, which wasn't until (12/21/23). On this new Thursday I arrive minutes before appointment (6:00) to make sure we check in on time, however not a single soul is sitting at the desk, and since I had some time to kill I went to change so I could get ready for me and my siblings group photo. I walk up to the desk at 6:07 changed and now with my siblings, Head back to front desk, however finally seeing a employee I was told then I was "fairly late" on top of him or her, being rude and disrespectful. Which makes no sense since I wasn't greeted by anyone originally and have been here the whole time. Customer services goes along way and unfortunately he/she were lazy and slow, again I understand it's Christmas/Holiday time, but if so lazy simply don't work and especially don't carry an attitude out on a family who did everything including following their directions. Why are you making your staff work without a functioning AC, it's been broken for several weeks and this is Texas. I could barely look around today because it was so hot , it was 90 degrees inside. At least I get to leave the store and cool myself down, meanwhile your staff can't, and nobody in that store gets paid enough to suffer in these conditions. I had planned to go to Macy's in the Cedar Park Mall to purchase New Bath Towels but it was the worst store I've ever been in !! Dirty with no employees in site not even the elevator was working, so I headed out to the Mall Itself. As I was walking through I noticed a JC Penny's Store ! I've been in others before but this one was so Clean !! It was a nice surprise from the Macys I had just been in and Penny's Stores have been in business since 1902 !! That's a long time ! Well I went up the 'working' elevator to the bedding department, where I found very nice displays with a lot of choices !! I'm so glad I went into this store !! Their selection of towels was great and their prices were THE BEST !!! I purchased 4 Bath Towels and matching Face Cloths for UNDER $35. !!! Where can you get a deal like that ??? Not at Macy's, for sure, I Checked their prices, they were no way close !! Then I met Adrienne at the Check out counter !! She was extremely nice and very informative about my selection ! She told me they were Super Absorbent and very popular and 'Made In Green' with an Earth Friendly Process !! I told her how nice, clean and Organized the store was and she told me the employees there worked hard and were proud to work there, Boy it really shows !! Great Job Everyone !!! Wish I could do zero stars. I have always been a fan of JC Penney. This location is the worst representation for this company. Not only are they under staffed the employees they have lack customer service. Management is out of the loop. I worked for JC Penney during the holidays. As a "thank you", the manager provided the seasonal employees with coupons. In trying to use my coupon, a manager at this location decided to investigate with loss prevention to ensure I didn't make the coupon. After I informed her where I received the coupon the loss prevention woman says "I never saw her". I will never shop at this location again. I will drive across town. I stood and waited for over 30 minutes while they did this "research". No apology for my time. No thanks for shopping here. All they could say is "we never seen a coupon like this". read more

Bought items at the Lakeline location. The mexican cashier lady lied and said she could not give me the online price. Meanwhile three feet behind her I hear the other cashier giving his customer the online price. When I pointed out to her the other customer was getting the online price, the cashier became annoyed, placed my receipt in the bag and walked away. JCPenney's website states they have the lowest price guarantee. Since the other customer was of Mexican descent as well, I can only assume my cashier was being racist. read more

This place is an absolute joke! Came in with my 1 month old son to get pictures taken and the girl working (Nelly) was the photographer. As we were taking close ups I could smell the vodka on her breath. Then after the session she couldn't figure out how to upload the pics so we had to return the next day. As we looked through the pictures the following day, there were some cute ones but also some pretty terrible shots. We decided to purchase a digital album and they double charged my card. Went back for a third time to speak to a manager and Michelle would not give us a name or number to reach one. After the whole ordeal there was a JCP store manager and another guy who was "posing" as a manager. They refunded my money and cancelled our photos. So after spending a total of 3 hours we walked out with nothing, not even an apology! So disappointed!!! read more

At JCP I got some awesome Portrait Photos from Big T. He was like Annie Leibovitz back there, turning my sad I'm in Cedar Park face into something artistic and glamorous like I was from Hollywood! I will cherish these photos forever and now I got something I can put up on SugarDaddyDating.Net. All the JCP photographers were great...even some budding Anne Geddes back there working with the kids and creating some cool cute baby photos. My only complaint are the prices! It's expensive for the prints, but I guess going Hollywood ain't cheap! Also don't bother asking if you can have tasteful nudie shots. G-rated Family photos only! read more

The Barton Creek Mall Penny's doesn't seem to have a Yelp entry, so I will park this here. I see similar issues with this location anyway. Understaffed and takes forever to simply check out, with ONE "customer service" area manned on each floor. It shouldn't take me longer to wait in line to check out than it does to find my purchases. And if you need assistance on the floor, forget about it, there's nobody home. If people are abandoning retail stores, this is big reason why -- terrible customer service. read more

Two days before Christmas.....I know they have extended hours for Christmas, but their phone recording is STILL for hours during Dec. 1st thru 7th! During the second week of December, I called to check their hours , got the old phone recording for the previous week, then called specific departments to ask them about the hours....I'm sure they had better things to do, such as ring up customer purchases. One day I was shopping there and asked two different employees about the hours for the next day , and got two different answers /times. Suggestion: keep your recording up to date, and post a schedule in the store as to the holiday shopping hours so it's not such a guessing game. read more

I've never been much of a JCPenney fan until recently. I was at the mall with my little cousin who needed to shop for pants, so we strolled into JCPenney. We both ended up getting some great yoga pants. They had a wide variety of workout cloths and all for a very great price. The day we went there was also a coupon for $10 off $25 and I think $20 off of $50. The yoga pants came out to an amazing price of like $10-$15. They are very nice ones too. I've gotten lots of compliments on them. They have them in different styles and colors. I recently returned over Memorial day to take advantage of the sale they had going on then. It was on sale for $15 then they had the coupons on top of it. It was later in the day on Monday, and it seemed a lot of it was picked over. The cute colors had little to no size selection left unfortunately. But overall I have had relatively great experiences here. read more

I went to J.C.Penny's at Lakeline Mall tonight to pick up a couple new shirts and had a fantastic experience with the sales staff! The lady working that part of the sales floor was very nice and helped me pick out two new dress shirts I really like. I'm kinda chunky and usually have a hard time picking clothes I like, so this was a big deal to me. On top of her fantastic attitude, she was working hard to keep the sales floor organized, even while family after family tore through the inventory. Normally this wouldn't be something I would rave about but her service was absolutely above and beyond - especially on the Saturday before Easter. Thanks for helping me today, Sheila! I went to this location to return some items I purchased online. While I was there I thought I'd look around. OMG... the fitting rooms were disgusting! The carpet was all stained up, the walls were dirty, and worst of all, it smelled like BO! I told the lady working there and she just laughed and said she agreed with me. Not only that, the AC was out and it was close to 100 degrees outside. As I see in the other reviews, there are lots of complaints about the employees, but in the few ladies I dealt with, they were pleasant enough and helpful. I will not be going there again. I'm starting to wonder if the mall in general has gone down hill because Macy's wasn't much better, but at least it didn't stink. read more

They didn't have any lightweight mens cargo pants, but this is a pretty specific item, and most stores don't have any. Went today to the home store to look at window curtains. Older lady working there was very rude. I was looking for a brown curtain with red highlights. I found one design on my own. When I asked her if they had anything else with red in it, she bluntly said ""no". She said she had six other people to help. The "six" other people, was just one family with four kids. Very bad and rude service. I ordered the curtains online instead, so the in-store workers wouldn't get any commission. JCPenney needs to rethink their commission based employees. Also if you don't like working there and helping people, you need to look for another job. read more
