What a fantastic experience. So happy I came. They were having a Buy One Get One 50% off! PLUS, it was back to school tax free weekend too. (This is when Texas waves taxes of back to school clothes, and school supplies, notebooks, folders, backpacks etc) Clothes shopping has been a chore since my body grew out of my teenage high metabolism body. Sigh. But today, I was enjoying my experience thanks to Alyssa. Alyssa asked if I needed help and I let out a sigh, yes. Someone please help me. I said I would like to find Jean shorts maybe a pair of jeans too and white jeans. She asked style, size, and I was a deer caught in headlights. Girl I have no idea what size I am, and style, I like the lighter color denim. And distressed. After that I don't know. So she started grabbing pants off shelves, & hangers, was so nice to have a personal shopper, and she made it actually fun. Every time she saw something in my arms, should would put it in a fitting room with my name on the door. After trying on 6 pairs of bottoms and a dress. I ended up with a pair of jeans, 2 different style jean shorts. When I checked out, Patrick suggested getting another item since it will be 50% off. Which I didn't even realize I only had 3 pairs. A fourth would be 50% off. So I wanted to get a second pair of Jean shorts, but it just happens I grabbed the last one of that size. But... luckily Patrick said he could order me the shorts and they would be delivered to my house with free shipping. So I said, let's do it. Super excited. So in total, 3 pairs of Jean shorts and 1 pair of jeans. And I think I paid about $180.00 for 4 pieces. Huge savings today. I'm so happy with my shopping experience. Thank you Alyssa, you truly were a life saver. And Patrick as well, had a great experience paying for my items. And I'm excited to receive the other shorts within this week. read more

Not to be confused with Canadian Goose, which seems more intelligent and less aggressive. Yes, I mean that how you took it. Located at Lakeline in the North West of Austin, and we came in here while wandering the Mall for hours and hours. It's expensive and trendy for kids, but we rarely find anything provocative or sexy enough for us to wear here. And even if we did, it's a little on the pricey side. Still, it's a friendly store at the big mall in Cedar Park and not too bad. read more

Oh my stars if I can give Max at American Eagle at Lakeline Mall 10 STARS I would. I just left Victoria Secret at Lakeline Mall with one of the world's worst experiences of my life in retail. I left them a review please read so it doesn't happen to you. I had to return some pants for my son at American Eagle, with the same exact scenario as what happened at Victoria Secret. I almost gave up and didn't go to American Eagle because of the horrendous experience I had at Victoria Secret at Lakeline Mall. I'm so grateful that I didn't allow that horrible experience that happened at Victoria Secret stop me from going to American Eagle. Max made this return the smoother, easiest ever. I was warmly greeted then Larissa asked me some general questions to get an idea of what I was looking for. From there I basically had my own personal stylists! I barely left the dressing room, she and Madison were bringing me many options that not only complimented my body type, but made me feel so comfortable and beautiful as well! I love this store! Went in today to shop. I've gained weight and struggle to find clothes I like these days. The entire staff was AMAZING! So helpful and upbeat. The manager was the best! She was so kind with great energy. I got everything I needed and it was less dramatic than normal. I love it! So thankful. I will be back sooner than later. :-) read more

Hostile environment! They interrogate you at the door. Want to know your name then get offended when you don't offer it. Managers lack manners. They talk down to customers like they lack the ability to understand. I will never allow anyone I know to shop here! Corporate should fire all the employees and this store and relook at their business model. read more

Clarissa was absolutely amazing. I went in looking for a men's shirt and then remembered I needed a pair of black jeans. I didn't look too much before she greeted me with a smile. She seemed to know the inventory and items that the store offered without even thinking about it. She was knowledgeable and patient with me as I tried to figure out exactly what I wanted. Such a relief to have someone help me so I didn't have to spend so much time searching aimlessly. She is wonderful and helpful and I will be back for sure! read more

Went to American eagle to get some jeans I saw online and Madison (I think) at the door was super informative and helpful! I then got helped by Hannah in the fitting room as she hyped me up with each pair I tried on and helped me grab multiple sizes as Hannah helped me check out she got me signed up for the rewards club! Hanna, Larissa and Sarah (who has helped me previously and is super awesome!) were super sweet and personable! During a pandemic it's hard to feel normal and safe but this store in lakeline mall met my expectations and more! To top off an amazing experience as I left a couple came in without a mask and Madison at the door was very professional and polite and kept us all safe. read more

Very hostile. The manager talks very loudly, almost screaming it seems like. When you tell her you don't need help she gets defensive. I've even heard her call Caucasian customers "Karen's" when they just want to be left alone! I will not be shopping here. read more

Outstanding shopping experience! On Sunday, while at the mall, I wanted to pop in and look at denim jackets. I was greeted at the door by a very cute polite young woman. She asked my name and what I was interested in. I told her, and she replied that she had just the girl with the latest selection. The other very lovely young woman waved me over and proceeded to pull out the perfect denim jacket! I asked if she had any dresses to the one I was wearing and she pulled out 2! She selected the perfect size without even having to ask. She pointed me to the, again, another very attentive lovely young woman waving to me at the dressing room. Everything fit to a "T". Super cute, super comfortable (business casual) attire! We even took a picture of one of the outfits and she asked my permission to post to American Eagle Outfitters Instagram, which I proudly agreed to the post. All the girls called me by name, wished me a wonderful Sunday afternoon and thanked me for coming in. I truly have never had such a personalized, fun shopping experience as I had at this store. I ordered some shorts over the website for instore pickup. I forgot to pick them up and the order was cancelled (which was fine). I then get an email a couple of weeks later stating the item was picked up. I called the store because I didn't pick it up. I spoke to Ignacio who wasn't very pleasant. First he wouldn't let me finish my question. When I went to finish my question, which was who picked up my order, he told me to "calm down". I then asked to speak to a manager. He informed that he was the manager. I told him telling a customer to calm down isn't very nice or appropriate and he stated it was appropriate. I then asked to speak to his boss. He told me his boss is Mark and would be in later. I told him I could his boss. He told me he would let his boss know about the conversation. I never called Mark. Instead I decided to do this review. I think it is inappropriate for a manager or any other associate to tell a customer to calm down. I wasn't yelling or raising my voice. I wanted the respect to finish my question. At this time I will not be shopping at American Eagle. read more

Big fan of their clothes, especially their jeans. Only place I can find quality jeans at a reasonable price. Staff is super helpful, if they don't have your size they'll order online and free ship to your home. Store is well organized with plenty of room to browse without feeling too crowded. Everything I've bought has lasted much longer than expected. read more

One word. AGRESSIVE. I was there right when the store opened this morning and was so shocked at how bombarding these employees are. Multiple times I made it clear that I was looking around and didn't need help, which then the employee began to act defensive. She was wearing a thick gray head band today with brown hair, hair in a pony tail/bun. But this aggressive behavior is in almost every employee every time I'm there. It's as if these employees were trained to make the customer have a miserable shopping experience. I just miss the old American Eagle where the music had a nice beach vibe to it and not this nasty inappropriate trap music, and the employees would throw the promotion at you ONLY ONCE, as well as respect when you say "no thank you" after being asked it help is needed and ended with something along the lines of "my name is ____ if you need any help." Im gonna stick to hollister for my jeans from now on. Also I went in vans right after and guess what? "hey guys welcome in!" no pushy promos or aggressive behavior...I spent alot more money in there than american eagle today. read more

Used to be a fan of the store. Yesterday when I visited they gave me the wrong change due and when I said something about it nicely, the workers gave me an attitude about it and gave each other side glances which I interpreted as them basically thinking I was lying about it. Won't be revisiting this American Eagle store, going to find a different one. read more
