I wanted the western shirt to scream I am the Delores version of Tammy Wynette, country girl diva and don't mess with me. First, let me say Cavender's is a huge, cavernous building with a plethora of items for men and women ranging from western clothing to boots and jewelry. I walked up and down the isles looking for that ideal western top. I saw sweatshirts, coats, vests, and jackets with fringe but no fringe shirts. I felt like a cowgirl with a gun and holster on my hip. I saw my first salesperson and I said, "Howdy partner, do you know where I can find me a women's western shirt?" Why not snap into your country sounding voice, when you are in a western store? He said, "No, let me get the woman sales repr." Obviously, my imaginary gun and holster did not evoke fear where I was quickly ushered to a rounder of fringe western tops to choose from. The female sales associate came out to help me, but she said she was not sure if they had fringe western tops and helped me to look around. There were a number of western designers to choose from like Wrangler and Scully. To my surprise, western prices have escalated since I bought my western boots. Unfortunately, I did not score my western satin fringe top but it was entertaining to peruse the store. Some days you get 100% of what you want, somedays 50% and somedays 0%. I was at 50/50, so I cut my losses and headed home. That western top would be great for a western-themed party, or to add to a fashion-forward look. I will continue my search.

Not only did I get 1 outfit and boots. I got a second outfit and the boots look great with that second outfit as well. The store is set up with men's wear on the left. And women's wear on the right, because women are always right. Store is very large, super organized. Very clean. They do have mannequins that are dressed, so you can see how some outfits will look together. So much inventory in this store. Lots of hats, belts, boots, dresses, jeans, button down shirts, t-shirts. and even a baby and kids area. A lot of their clothes are priced high. For example a women's belt was $65.00 but it's real leather and a lot of craftsmen ship went into making it. After trying everything on, I went to the cashier where she was just finishing up with another customer. She asked if anyone helped me, I said no. Thinking back, I didn't really see any employees interacting with customers. She checked all my clothes for the security tags that she had to remove. On the pin pad facing me it was asking if I wanted to sign up for discounts. And I did. Later I got a text message saying my next in store purchase will be 10% off. Really happy with what I got. I can't wait to wear it out. Parking lot is big. I got there right when they opened, so the lot was empty. But an hour and half of being inside, I walked out and the lot was full! All pick up trucks. If that's not hard to believe.

This store has an easy-to-follow layout, but I noticed it is different from the others in Austin. Curious. Most of the displays were in good condition, and the clothing was in good order, easy to find sizes. I noticed there were places in the store with large open floor areas. It looked very odd. You can see it in my photos. The floor isn't very attractive, so it really stands out. I saw a few employees walking around the floor, but no one approached me to see if I needed any help. In all, there's nothing special about this location. It's your average Old Navy.

Then they said the printer was broken and *maybe* I could try again in two weeks before my return window closes. That made no sense, especially since I had the physical receipt in hand, but they kept blaming me for not giving them my email and rolling their eyes. On top of that, the employees were loudly gossiping about their exes, store policies, and how they wish they could kick customers out right at closing, while people were waiting to check out. After I left, I overheard them speaking negatively about me for simply asking about a return. Super unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. I've loved Windsor for years, but I don't feel comfortable returning to the store after this. Overall the quality in clothes has gone down over the years, strings hanging off clothes and cheap materials, it's not worth the money spent.

They even have some seats in there if you are a guardian or parent of a child to sit and wait for them. Since I am a male, I just stood outside the dressing room and my sister-n-law would show me what her outfits looked like as my daughter tried each one on. Quite honestly, I was impressed with my daughter's shopping skills. We were in and out of this store in less than an hour. LOL At the end, when my daughter was ready, I was shocked at the value of clothing we bought. We only spent $68, I was expecting to spend at least $100 or more. As I walked into Lululemon Domain, I immediately noticed that the store was densely packed with customers and a long check-out line. In order to defer the long, meandering check-out line, I decided to check the sales racks. While the Domain store had a larger variety of sales items, I did not find any item I wanted to purchase. By the time, I finished combing through the sales racks, the line had decreased. After scanning the SKU#, the sales associate said she was able to locate 9 pairs of socks in store. Then she went off to secure one of the nine sets of socks. In no time, she came back with the size medium socks. She rang me up rather quickly and offered me reusable shopping bag. This was an even exchange at $0 cost to me. In addition, I was captivated by the big screen behind the registers. As a side note, I love their reusable bags. Often, I carry my gym items in the Lululemon bags. You can use them as a lunch bag, grocery shopping bag or on a picnic. They are extremely portable. My sales associate gave me one of the new designs in red.

He took the time to explain the differences between the various Brooks Brothers shirt collections, the different fits, fabrics, sizing systems, and how each style complements different body types. He patiently helped me understand how the Brooks Brothers sizing system works and why finding the correct fit makes such a tremendous difference. When it came time to purchase, Dennis also educated me on how to buy with the current sale that was going on. My few experiences with Dennis could not have gone any better. They have been perfect. For the first time, I feel like I understand how to build a wardrobe that is tailored to my body instead of trying to make my body fit the clothing. We walked in and were greeted, anything you are looking for, well not really, just wanted to browse what they had overall. It was my husband, myself, and 1 and 2 year old. Thankfully we had them in our double stroller - the Nuna Demi grow that seats both of them comfortably so that we can shop without worrying about them running around or grabbing things off shelves, etc. She asked me about 30 seconds later once we made it to the other side of the store (by the columbia side of windows) . No thank you. browsed their sock selection, which was slim pickings. and we decided maybe they had some on the opposite side of the racks we passed on our one lap in. again, the thick accented, glasses wearing young lady asked again, Is there anything you are looking for ? That was it, in 1.5 minute-2 minutes time she followed me around the store asking if we needed help looking for something. I said, you know that's it, I'm done. Even if I wanted to purchase something in this store I wouldn't specifically because of you. I'll be spending at the stores down the hall. And that's exactly what we did. Never. again. ever. I gave her what I was looking for, low rise jeans, but unfortunately everything was high rise jeans, pretty much ended my shopping experience. I did wonder around just for kicks, but nothing stood out. I feel like Levi's doesn't have a variety of style jeans. It's all high rise, and boot cut. Maybe online will have a better selection.

I look at zipper construction, button construction, and inspect the stitching. The three times that I've ended up purchasing items here, the staff here have been extremely helpful in searching for items or looking for specific colors or sizes. I've never witnessed them selling or attempting to sell, as their items are able to sell themselves. Since they are what one might call athleisure, for each clothing type (whether shorts, pants, shirts, jackets, etc), they usually have multiple variants, including those made of different weighted fabrics, offered in a palette of colors. I have found their clothes to be functional (e.g. multiple pockets, including extra zipper pockets) and durable. That said I've only worn their higher weight fabric clothing. They do have a fitting room with several stalls. And the staff working there are more than happy to offer and assist you in retrieving extra items from the store. Checkout is also a breeze; they tend to do electric receipts via email, although print outs are possible. I think their pricing is fair. According to the frequency with which I wear the purchases from here, I seem to be getting good value and utility out of the clothing here. Also, their fabrics are quite comfortable.
