My Wife and I found a comfortable power recliner chair at Ashley with all the bells and whistles, adjustable lumbar, electric adjustable head rest, smart phone charger, USB port and comfortable upholstery. We paid $3,600 for two of them (cash) (pictures attached) They were delivered in 6 weeks (faster than usual these days) and we pain over $200 for their "White Glove" delivery and set up. However, after all that money, and anticipation, one of them was delivered without a power cord (the one with the hassock). The "White Glove" delivery guy advised me to call the Ashley parts department. You would think, at these prices, Ashley would have instituted a Quality Control position there. Don't shop here! Trust me, long winded but worth the read! Went in here looking for a new couch with my wife and 2 kids. Was met by a nice salesman named Todd. We walked around looked at the options obviously some pricey but affordable. We finally came across this modular power reclining sectional. No signs or anything near this couch. While we were sitting on it Todd comes up and mentioned he believes that couch is on clearance for 50% off but he was unsure if it was being held for someone else. We were elated by that news with high expectations of a good find for a cheap price cause we were ready to pay cash price for it (which was mentioned a few times). Todd comes back a few times trying to figure out what the model of the couch was and trying to track down the price. Finally after about 15-20 minutes of him coming back and forth he says good news it available, starts talking about all their finance options. I told him not interested in financing I'll pay cash if the price is right. Finally after a price breakdown we're told the out the door price was about 2200. At 50% off?! Obviously baffling as there's not a single couch in that whole store that's priced at $4,000+. But since it was on clearance the 5 year protection plan wasn't included. Even less incentive. When we questioned the price is when the wheels started to fall off. We tried to find it this particular couch on their website but was told by another associate it's discontinued and we won't find it online. We then began to push back a little harder. Todd requested I believe the in store manager an English women referred to as "T". She held true to what Todd said with the price of the couch being $4,000. I found a similar couch on their website for half that price and questioned how the similar one is $2000 dollars less online then this one is right here. I questioned how that's possible on a discontinued couch and she said it's not discontinued. I informed her we were told otherwise by another employee. The backtracking continued. Eventually I told them I'd be willing to pay a certain price but not what they started with. They began to work with us. Until they got their General manager or whoever he was on the phone. The man on the phone went by the name Jason. Todd spoke with Jason on the phone before me and even asked me while on the phone if I'm financing or paying cash. I told him I'm paying cash. After a couple minutes of Todd on the phone with Jason. He brings me the phone and hands it to me. I greet Jason and am told by Jason if he's going to sell me the couch at that price then he needs something in return and told me to put in a credit application for financing the couch. ??? MIND BLOWN!!! I told them multiple times I'm paying cash. I told Jason why would I take a hit in my credit for something I'm intending to pay cash for?! (They get money for credit apps submitted whether approved or denied) After some continued back and forth, Jason said he would try to figure something out and call back. While waiting and having small talk with Todd, I continued to talk about how there's no way the couch is that price, he informed me he doesn't even know how much the couch costs.... WHAT?! Y'all have been sitting here telling me it's 4 grand! He said they couldn't find it on their website. Conveniently this couch had no info around it. No price tag, no model info, nothing. After that I said you know what thank you for your time but there's no deal that's gunna wrk out here and after an hour and a half of back and forth packed up my wife and kids and left. On my way out I thanked Todd again for his time. Now at the front of the store we walked past "T", he informed her I was leaving to which she rolled her eyes and didn't respond (very professional). Visited this store on Dec 15, 2025 to buy a sideboard. We saw one we liked and specifically asked if it was available and in stock. We were told that it was and could be delivered Dec 23rd. Subsequently we received a text to set up delivery. We chose the option for Dec 27. Close to the date of delivery we made a call to customer care to confirm Dec 27. We were told the delivery date had changed to Jan 3, 2026 and they acknowledged that they failed to notify us of the change followed by a string of hollow apologies. So as we get close to Jan 3 we called to again confirm only to be told the date was changed to Jan 9th. The reason was that they did NOT have the item, followed again by a string of apologies. They didn't deliver it when promised, they didn't even contact me to give me a window of time. Yet they canceled my order without any communication at all. After returning to the store to check on "what happened", they apologized and reset the order. That was the end of good experience with Ashley (maybe because we paid them so much money). #2. The delivery guys were kind enough to bust up our brand new wood stairs. These people are like used car salesmen. They chase you around the store, trying to push weird deals and telling you that almost no listed price is correct. When we tried to leave, the saleswoman tried to block my path and begged us to at least buy an accessory, as it would really help her out. We were in and out in maybe 20 minutes and only talked to her by force since the store was basically empty, and she wouldn't leave us alone. Our experience in the store was good. We only needed a bed for a spare bedroom. Our salesman seemed to know the products aand provided input on our selection. When we checked out, he failed to include a box spring on the order. After it was called to his attention, he wrote on the paper copy I signed to include the box spring. We also thought the bed would be delivered a week earlier than it was actually delivered. Bottom line, the bed was delivered in boxes (not set up for a delivery fee) but did not include the box spring. During this time, I had texted the salesman with no response. Sales representative Ashley Lamb seriously over promised and under delivered and manager Timothy was indifferent and unhelpful. Our old sofa was damaged and needed fairly urgent replacement. We found and bought what we wanted at this Ashley location mid April '24. It wasn't in stock but Ashley Lamb told both my wife and I together and independently (after multiple inquiries) that it would be delivered at the latest 05/28/24 and most likely before. We needed the sofa but decided to wait the 6 weeks (worst case). I called the customer service number on 05/21/24 to sort out the upcoming logistics and was told the furniture would not be available until the end of June (2.5 months after purchase). I immediately called the store and spoke with the manager Timothy Woods to inquire why we were given such bad and inaccurate information. He was somewhat flippant and didn't seem very interested in my predicament. He promised to check with the distribution center and get back to me. To date I have not heard from him. I'm not understanding why Ashley is selling product they cannot deliver until the next quarter in the year and doubly not being honest about the availability and expectations. We would have passed and look for alternatives (why we both made certain of the original answer) had we been honestly told it would be close to a 3 month wait. My wife and I recently purchased a sofa and loveseat from Ashley Furniture on September 12, 2024. We were informed that we would have 72 hours to live with the furniture and, if it did not fit the aesthetics of our home or if the furniture was damaged, we could return it for another piece. Given this information, we selected and purchased our furniture that same day. On the scheduled delivery day, the delivery driver was a no-call, no-show. We contacted the store to inform them and ultimately had to hire our own delivery service. Upon delivery, we realized the furniture was not a good fit. A few hours after it was delivered, we went to the store to request a return. The salesperson informed us that we could not process a return or exchange because the couches were on sale/As-is sale. We were also told that there was no such policy allowing for a 72-hour return/exchange window. The salesperson then suggested we try to resell the items on Facebook Marketplace or Nextdoor. We then attempted to speak with the manager, who was very rude and unprofessional. She rolled her eyes, waved her hand in frustration, and walked away from my wife mid-sentence without offering a solution or any support. After two weeks of back and forth with customer service, we were told that we were incorrectly sold a warranty, so our warranty was removed. Several representatives promised we could get an exchange; however, by the end of the second week, we were told that there was nothing they could do despite being assured by multiple customer service members that an exchange could be done. The entire ordeal has been frustrating, to say the least. Don't order furniture from this company. We have waited weeks for our couch to come in. We got confirmation text yesterday that our couch would be delivered today between 11am-2:40pm. We did all prep that was recommended, including getting rid of our old couch and taking a day off of work to be present for this delivery. It's nearly 3pm, no sign of the truck. We contacted Ashley and were just advised that the delivery is delayed by 2 weeks! We took a day from work and have no furniture even though we received a text confirmation and separate email from them just last night. The woman on the phone claims that we should've received an email advising of delay this morning. I've checked all email accounts and junk folders and we have not gotten an email. They did not attempt to even call to notify us. I wish I had read previous reviews prior to buying. Ashley obviously has some issues with getting their products to customers in a timely manner. At this point, I believe they may give you a bogus timeframe so that you will purchase the item. **DON"T BUY FROM ASHLEY*** They do not do refunds!!!! It is their policy and you sign it on the "contract" to buy the item. I was told my "customer service" that all sales are final. I have been dealing with them for a month and was told I could not get a refund on a broken piece of furniture (actually 2 broken, because they replaced the first one with another broken on). I was told the situation can be escalated if the third server is faulty. I'm furious and here is the story...We bought a server/buffet/sideboard. It has 3 doors and a marble top. Buying was an experience. I was told by the sales person that he "saved" me $50 on shipping. I was glad for that. Turns out all he did was lower the level of service and they did not assemble the furniture when it was delivered. That is not "savings" and I was not pleased! Delivery scheduling was easy the first time but the first server arrived with crooked doors and a broken top. I called to get it replaced and was told I had to file a claim online. It was overly complicated and didn't work so I had to call a different number. They were somewhat helpful in walking me through the online process, nothing can be done over the phone, evidently. A couple of days later I got an email that the piece would be replaced. Great. A week and a half later...good grief. It took 3 days to get it to me the first time and 5 times that long to replace it. Meanwhile, I'm left with a broken server in my way (eventually moved it to the garage myself but I also had all of the stuff sitting around on the counters that belonged in the new server. The replacement server arrived the day assigned, but 4 hours late at 10:45 PM, yes, PM!! I had to call the store because their ridiculous "claims" or issues chat system doesn't take calls or messages after 5pm. The Very kind man at the store, Tim, helped me get in touch with the driver, Kevin, who was also very kind and helpful. They delivered the new server, and took the broken one. However, the doors on the replacement server were also crooked and couldn't be opened without damaging the door's edges because they rubbed on the frame. Kevin tried to fix them and said they would have to send out a repair person. Again I had to deal with the nearly useless system to get someone to come out again! After MANY emails and texts back and forth, someone was schedule for a few days later for 7am-10am Saturday morning. I got up early to be ready for them to arrive and then got a cancellation text that the worker was sick and they rescheduled again, 4 more days. So, now it has been over a month since we purchased our server and it is still not functional and will have to be replaced again if the doors cannot be repaired properly. I will be asking for a refund if that is the case. To sum it all up, won't be doing business with Ashley again. The customer service has been horrible. It is hard to get anyone on the phone and online contact is slow and if you don't respond very quickly they close the conversation and you have to start over. I looked at the email confirmation and it showed a picture of a bed without a headboard. I separately bought a headboard. When we put it together, the frame had the headboard. Because my order was outside of delivery by 7 days, they wouldn't return an unopened box (headboard only). A 72 hour return policy is terrible if you have to put something together. Once upon a time we ordered furniture from Ashleys in Austin (Pflugerville location) and the service was great. We were moving in to the city and the sales rep (Patrick) personally came to our new empty house to set the furniture up the way we liked it 2 weeks after we bought it, communicating with us the entire time. Unfortunately our cat peed all over a piece we got then, and we decided to upgrade the rest of our furniture. We went to this location and were met by Larry the sales guy. We decided on 2 power recliners and a couch. He said it would be 2 weeks for the recliners, but the couch was going to be a month away. We told him no problem, we will wait. 2 weeks pass and only 1 of the recliners came. After asking him what happened to the other, he made up all sorts of excuses. "Oh its on backorder, we thought we had some but we didn't. It will be another 2 weeks". Well, it wasn't another 2 weeks. It was a full 2 more months before the second recliner was delivered. And the couch? It's 6 months later and we're STILL waiting for it. "slow boat from china" says Larry. "missing inventory" says Larry. We were excited when we finally got a call that the couch was going to be delivered this week, so we sold the other couch we had. The next day their automated system called back and said it would not be delivered for another month. What the hell is wrong with these people? Now we don't have a couch for the our young kids, and it's going on 7 months since Larry promised us it would be a month at most. If there are problems with the supply chain then say that. Don't take the money and keep lying to your customers because you have no idea how many things you have to sell , so you keep overselling them. Their customer service has been equally useless. We've typically been the people that get used stuff off Facebook marketplace or whatever but decided to go new this time. We checked out Rooms to Go and Ashley. Ashley's entire situation was so much better. Organization of the store made sense, options were much better, the salesman who met us at the door (Will Croissant) was the perfect level of helpful. I'm in sales as well and know what's annoying to people; Will was not annoying, had the right helpful advise, options and wasn't overbearing at all. This has been the worst experience I have EVER had with a store. I bought a sofa from Ashley Furniture store in Pflugerville that came to me missing a part. That took numerous trips (and many months) from a store called AHM Furniture Repair that Ashley uses before they finally put the piece in. During this process I also noted that there were issues with the cushion on the other side of the sofa that I do not sit on. NOW, even though I paid $370 extra dollars for an extended warranty AND this was brought to their attention within the first year of owning the sofa, Ashley is saying it is not covered due to wear and tear. My husband and I ordered a table and chairs from Ashley Furniture in Cedar Park at the beginning of Oct and paid up front, no financing. We were given an estimated delivery date of Nov 1. After no communication we called on Nov 2 and were told the chairs were in but not the table and the table was slated to arrive in the warehouse on Nov 11. We called again on Nov 11 as we didn't hear anything and were told that actually they didn't have the table or the chairs and it would be about 5-7 more weeks. When we asked how reliable that was they said no guarantees. We asked what was the furthest out we could get it and they would still be holding in to our money. We were told there wasn't an outside limit and if the table and chairs didn't come until 2025 then that was when they came. Do NOT order from Ashley. They will steal your money, lie about what they do and do not have, and delivery empty promises. read more

Bought a 4 piece entertainment center and the delivery guys ($350 charge) brought 3/4 pieces one color and 1/4 pieces another color. They took back the wrong color piece and I've waited weeks for a replacement. Customer service is unable to help because the delivery guys marked it as delivered with a note instead of not delivered. This is what a $900 entertainment center from Ashley furniture looks like. If you factor in deliver and "set up" $1250. Do Not go here!!! read more

The salespeople are nice and try their best, but the company they work for does not back them up. It took me a month and a half to get someone to correct a delivery issue! The delivery driver lied and gave us a number to call. I should have not accepted it, but I did not think Ashley would use that against me. I sent the pictures and documents via email twice and on text several times. Nothing. Went to the store. Nothing. Finally got a guy on the phone that just ordered it and I got it in two days. Why was that so hard? And how was this my fault? The customer service after the sale is nonexistent and you will not get help. My stupid self even wasted money for the 5 year warranty, which did nothing and looks like it will do nothing in the future. Go somewhere else and save yourself the nightmare. read more

Purchased over $7000 worth of Furniture in February for delivery in April at our new home in Illinois. Sale went fine but two items were not delivered. Store will not talk to us. Sales person is always with a customer and the Store Manager is always at lunch when we call. We have filed a dispute with the credit card company and documented with the Texas Attorney General. Ashley is not the furniture store is used to be. Recently bought an outdoor conversation set. Looks great but a leg was missing. No big deal, right? Wrong! I've called Ashley numerous times, spent hours on the phone with them trying to resolve. They've sent multiple parts, mulitple technicians but they still can't seem to figure it out. Three months dealing with them. I'm stuck in a loop with them and cannot get out. They call to check on problem, we talk, they send part (wrong part), then they send technician, he can't fix so it starts over with another call from them. I will NEVER use Ashley furniture again. Do not order from this store! I found a light wood Oliah shelf bed from their website. I loved it at first, no damaged pieces, but when i started assembling it, one of the pieces was not cut right. there was an 8th of an inch off! I cannot believe how horribly this piece was cut! I am beyond disappointed! I am never doing business with Ashley's ever again! Do not order from them unless you want the frustrations I went through of having to measure and cut and sand the piece down and it still doesn't look right! Also, they didn't even deliver the furniture properly, they delivery drivers drove on my lawn and tore up my grass! They left tire tracks and they didn't even bring the package to the front of the door, they just left it on the grass! I will NEVER be purchasing from this store again! read more
