Ashley is not the furniture store is used to be. Recently bought an outdoor conversation set. Looks great but a leg was missing. No big deal, right? Wrong! I've called Ashley numerous times, spent hours on the phone with them trying to resolve. They've sent multiple parts, mulitple technicians but they still can't seem to figure it out. Three months dealing with them. I'm stuck in a loop with them and cannot get out. They call to check on problem, we talk, they send part (wrong part), then they send technician, he can't fix so it starts over with another call from them. I will NEVER use Ashley furniture again. If I could give Ashley Furniture Homestore 0 stars I would. This furniture purchase has been the worst experience I have ever had when buying something. I strongly encourage everyone to purchase their home furnishings from any other furniture store. I purchased a bed on May 22nd and have yet to receive my furniture. Every time I call I am given a different delivery date, now they are saying the end of Sept. That will be 4 months after my purchase. I PAID CASH FOR THE BED ALREADY, THEY HAVE MY MONEY, BUT STILL NO BED. If they would have been honest up front, that they had no idea when my bed would be ready, I would have went to a different store, or at least had the expectation that it might be a while. But now they have my money, so I feel kind of between a rock and a hard place. Looking at the other reviews below this seems to be happening with everyone. Please buy from another furniture store, at least they might be truthful and tell you that you won't see your furniture for 4-6 months. The most frustrating thing is they contacted me 2 weeks ago and had me select a delivery date, which tells me they finally got my bed in the warehouse, only to be told the day before my delivery date that it would be another month. Do not order from this store! I found a light wood Oliah shelf bed from their website. I loved it at first, no damaged pieces, but when i started assembling it, one of the pieces was not cut right. there was an 8th of an inch off! I cannot believe how horribly this piece was cut! I am beyond disappointed! I am never doing business with Ashley's ever again! Do not order from them unless you want the frustrations I went through of having to measure and cut and sand the piece down and it still doesn't look right! Also, they didn't even deliver the furniture properly, they delivery drivers drove on my lawn and tore up my grass! I don't not recommend this store at all. I placed an order back in July and they cancel my order when they told me they would hold it until I moved into my home. I had to fight for my money back after they canceled it and drove all the way across town. The manger is a total jerk here and it explain me why they have crappy reviews. We recently bought over $5000 worth of furniture from Ashley in Cedar Park. It was a good experience through the purchase, but customer service after the sale has been non-existent. I had an issue with the delivery schedule and no one with their "Customer Response Team" could help. I went into the store and the manager Tamlyn took my number and said she would all the warehouse and get back with me...crickets...no call!!! My furniture took 3 weeks to arrive. The second issue was regarding the extra warranty they sell when you buy furniture. I bought a modular sofa and wanted the pieces that are electric/motorized covered. I was told there were two power recliners so i got those covered. Turns out three of the pieces were power. When i went in to purchase the warranty on the 3rd piece as well as one additional (non power) section to my couch...there was no question about whether that could be done. They sales person rang it up and took my money and told me the warranty would be applied to the 3rd power piece. However later i found out the warranty cannot be added to an item once it has been delivered. So it was added to the other piece of the couch that i did not want covered. I called the "Customer Response Team" and they were once again no help. So I went back into the store and was told they could not change the warranty to cover the item i wanted covered and they could also not refund the cost of the warranty. Even though one of the sales people in the store did all this and screwed it up. Some other store manager named Felipe took my number and said he would call. Haha...once again, no call, no help. They sales people in the store aren't empowered to do anything but take your money. They don't care about anything once they make the sale. Sorry Ashley, you won't be getting my business anymore. Worst delivery and bait and switch seller ever! White glove service is you on assembling your own furniture so they have a clear pathway for you to assemble what you bought. They don't tell you this when you buy the white glove service only to show up and then leave when you didn't freaking know. First of all everyone that you call for the delivery is in Mexico and they have no customer service skills don't even understand what the hell you're trying to ask and just laugh. I don't know how this place is allowed to be in business, it's a complete scam. My mom and I went there in August to buy a couch, worked with a salesman named Steve. He was really nice and helpful. We went through the whole credit approval process and ordered our $3,000 couch. It was supposed to arrive Oct. 10. Well, it's five months later and we haven't gotten it or heard anything from the store. I tried calling to get an update, but the operator sends you to a dead line, it goes to a voicemail that is full so you can't leave a message. This was a terrible and confusing experience. I contacted the person that replied to my comment with no further help than I got from customer service. There's no set delivery date. The dates, yes dates plural, are still considered estimates. No one knows when my couch and loveseat set will be delivered but it sounds like they will be coming on two different days which is such a hassle. No one also told me that my set would possible get delivered separately and waste two days of my life. I was told by the person who commented above that their average delivery times are between 8-12 weeks, but the invoice I was originally given had a delivery date that was only 6 weeks out and told it might come sooner. Why even put a date on an invoice that falls outside of your normal window? Why let your associates quote dates to ppl that are so far outside of your average wait time? Obviously it's to get the sale, but that seems like a super fast way to lose the trust of your customers. If I had been given a realistic expectation of when my furniture would arrive I could have decided for myself if it was worth the wait and you wouldn't have such an unhappy customer. Edit to add that it looks like when I posted this comment it deleted my original comment. The background is that I purchased furniture was told that it would come by my delivery date at the latest and that date came and went without the company contacting me for delivery. When I contacted them the automated service said my delivery was unable to be scheduled for another 6-8 weeks. When I contacted them again to speak with a human I was basically told sorry and still no concrete delivery dates. I specifically asked the sales associate about when each item I was interested in would be available because it was delivery time was important to me. I even chose a set that had a shorter wait time than another set I liked. The funniest part is that I even sent my ex to go get furniture there because they seemed to have better prices and availability than some other places I had been to and neither one of us has our furniture yet. Both of us are weeks past our quoted delivery dates printed on our invoices with nothing to show for it. So this is not an isolated incident. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do not buy furniture from this company. I went in-store to purchase a bedroom set on 7/25/2021. I was told by the sales rep, David Hernandez, that my ALL of items would be available for delivery on Aug 18th and that I would be receiving a confirmation email. When that email never came, I called customer service and was told that the earliest available delivery date was Aug 25th. So I scheduled that date with the customer service person. Still no confirmation email. Today, I get a text that says my "items are available" & to please call to schedule delivery. When I called, I was told that my items would not be in stock until Sept 1st. I ask for a confirmation number and the person's name because this was the THIRD delivery date that I scheduled. THEN THEY HUNG UP ON ME. When I called back, I was told that they couldn't schedule a date because they could only schedule 2 weeks in advance, and oh by the way, my 2 nightstands wouldn't be available until OCTOBER. When questioned about why I was promised that my ALL of my items would be available for delivery on Aug 18th and asked why they no longer had my nightstands in stock WHEN I ALREADY PAID FOR THEM, the lady told me that I "should read the reviews." SERIOUSLY?!? I asked to be transferred to the manager. When the next person came on the line, I explained that I was trying to speak to a manager and they asked for the name of the store, which I gave....they didn't even have this Cedar Park Ashley location in their system so they couldn't transfer me to anyone. I tried to call the store back (using the "customer service" option) and the line kept getting disconnected. I tried to call the store using the "sales" option to ask to speak to the manager...I was transferred to a voicemail. A voicemail, really?! As if anyone will ever call me back from a freaking voicemail...but I left one anyway. I called the store AGAIN, and tried the "order status" option. I explained the whole thing again and was told that they would schedule a partial delivery ASAP and I would receive a confirmation email within one business day, but the dude at least gave me a ticket number. I am SO angry with this whole situation. If Ashley doesn't make this fiasco right by Monday, I will cancel my $1500 order and purchase from a competitor. I just want what was promised to me by the sales rep! I will never purchase furniture from this company again. Buyer Beware of Bill Sweatt (manager) and Timothy Woods (pushy salesman) I tested a recliner that i saw in their showroom. It was big soft and plush! So i decided to order it along with the additional warranties that the pushy sales man relentlessly insisted i purchase.When it finally arrived to my home, it was hard as a rock and not just the seat part but the back support as well. I decided to wait 2 weeks to see if it felt any better and it didn't. After spending several days and many hours speaking with sales people and the warranty department and getting the run around. I was finally told that the warranty was only good if i had called them within 24 hours. I paid $300 for the-additional warranties and they did nothing to help or replace the item for something comparable. After countless calls and unsatisfactory responses. I asked to speak to the manager Bill Sweatt. He was never available to take my calls. When i went into the store to speak with him, he attempted to give me the run around. Completely unprofessional and unethical. He made no apologies or even attempt to right a wrong. When I purchased my sofa, I was told I had to wait two months til it could be delivered. The delivery date came and went. After hours of being both on hold and trying to talk to anyone who could help me on the phone, was first told it could be delivered next month, then when asked for a manager, was told a manager would call me back in 15 minutes, he never called. The third call I was told I had to go to the store I purchased it to sort it out. At the store, the manager, who was actually very nice, told me I recieved a phone call a week ago saying my sofa was discontinued, I never got a phone call. So I've waited 2 months, and was told after they were supposed to deliver it that it was discontinued. Was able to get a full refund, but pretty unhappy about the entire experience. Update: They commented below to reach out to them to address the issue. As per that, I emailed to the below email address, but no one replied so far. Even after complaining on the same day of delivery, if they're not ready to replace the item, how can you trust them to buy anything. So beware, if you already have some orders, just hope that there is no scratch or issues with your furtniture. Because they're not going to replace it. I complained in BBB also because they were not even taking responsibility for the mistakes they did during the delivery. Their maximum offer was to repair a damage for the item they just brought in. Why should we pay for the new item, when they're going to bring in damaged piece and force us to use it? With bbb complaint, they just assigned to some management team, but even then, my mirror order doesn't have any update. But dining table was finally delivered today after so many follow ups and stress of following up with management team, store, customer service rep etc. No apologies or no manual update or anything from them for the delay or for the trouble they've created for me. About the ticket I created with Ashley to replace mirror, they just closed it after 10 days telling they cannot replace. They can only repair it with their service team. This was something I reported to delivery driver and then to the customer service team as well on the same day. Still this was their response. I don't expect any other store to be this bad. While some companies give 1 week return window, 1 month return window etc. Ashley doesn't have any return policy at all and not even exchange policy, even when you report it during delivery. read more

Long story short, do not purchase anything from this store. They will promise you a delivery date and assure items are coming and It's a new lie or lack of information every time. They will not call you when they say they will and the only way to find out information is by calling customer service (who usually knows nothing) or by marching into the store to speak to the manager. I paid (IN FULL) for a King Bed, dresser and mirror, and nightstand on 6/28/2021. I was told everything would be delivered by the end of July because the footboard of the bed was on back order. Fair enough. I'll wait the month for everything. August 1st comes around and I've received no calls regarding scheduling a delivery. I call and they tell me they have everything but the rails for the bed. Okay so we scheduled a partial delivery for august 13th. They bring the dresser and mirror, and the nightstand (which they didn't have screws for the handle so I had to go buy them myself. They said they would ship them to me and no screws ever showed up) I walk into the store the next day to get an update on the rest of the items because customer service is now telling me November - the store manager assured me that I would have my full bed on august 27th. The delivery teams calls me 30 minutes while they're on the way and inform me that they do not have the footboard and asking if I have it. They deliver the rails and the headboard only on the 27th. I've called customer service 5-10 times in a single day only be given no answers or be hung up on. Calling the in-store number will send me to a faulty voicemail that never returns my calls. I've had countless numbers of "tickets" issued for my order and "urgent" escalations placed only to be told there is no update. I went into the store this weekend with a final attempt to get answers, nothing. I told them to come pick the furniture up and issue me a refund. Was told that I would be called to schedule the pick up on Monday. It's tuesday afternoon and still have not received a call. They've had my $2500 since June and i can't even get them on the phone to schedule a pick up, get my money back and start over buying new furniture. Needless to say, I'm livid. read more

But 4 months after buying what was hawked as a leather recliner, the area where the headrest is began deteriorating and falling off. I specifically asked for leather, and only looked at what I thought was leather. Obviously, this is imitation leather, yet it was hawked as real leather. The salesman outright lied to me. There's no wonder this company has a no return policy. When You deceive and lie to your customers as to the product quality, it makes sense to have a no return policy. Complaints to the corporate office fell upon deaf ears, and a promised response to my email inquiry with pictures was unanswered. The corporate back office people of this company were rude and disrespectful I will never use this company again and, avoid this Pflugerville location of Ashley furniture at all costs. When they arrived they were already splintered and when I asked about them I was brushed off and told they were still good to use. Currently still waiting on this company to send replacements that should've arrived 4 weeks ago. Just got an email saying they wouldn't be shipped until the end of February! If I could give zero stars I would. Where to start with our fiasco of a situation. We went to the store at the end of November. We just moved to the area and we're in need of new living room furniture and a new bedroom suit. Found both sets and they are beautiful. Our salesman Frankie told us about the financing option and we told him we wanted to pay cash for our items. He kept pushing the financing option on us for some reason...however we paid cash. Frankie also told us everything would be delivered in a couple of weeks, first lie. Frankie said he would be with us every step of the way until our furniture was in our house...lie..he moved a couple of days after the sale and then quit responding to my texts. A couple of days after the purchase Frankie did call and told us that our living room suit has been discontinued (really??) and that we could have the floor model at a discounted price. We agreed on the floor model. Went in a couple of days later and talked to the store manager, Stephen, I think. He informed us that since the floor model was already in the store that we would have to figure out how to get it to the house ourselves. Deliveries only come from the warehouse. No sir...we paid for delivery for a reason and want it delivered. He asked that we give him a little bit to figure how to get it delivered to us. Second lie. Stephen never got back with us. Everytime we called the store it went to some call center and we never got a return call. So after no communication from Stephen, I got in touch with escalations, Brielle took our case. When we explained to her the situation she said she would handle it. She even tried to call the store, again, to no avail. After a couple of days she called us back and inormed us the living room had been sold to someone else. I forgot to mention in this time frame of several weeks we already had the recliner delivered since it was in the warehouse. We had the option to pick something else out or get a full refund for the couch and loveseat and they would come pick up the recliner. We opted for the full refund. (Funny how they could pick up the recliner from our house but not deliver the couch and loveseat to us from the store....hmmmm). Now to the bedroom suit, the bed rails, chest, and dresser were all delivered end of Feb/first of March. 3 weeks or so later the head board and the night stands were delivered...no foot board. One of the night stands had a screw that is striped out and the handle is loose. So they put together the bed and the rails were on the floor because we had no foot board. It was like this for a couple of days until the foot board could be delivered. The delivery guys were nice and fixed us up. We decided to say the hell with them fixing the night stand and fixed it ourselves because we were done with Ashley. We did NOT have a good experience with the Cedar Park Ashley Homestore and if you choose this place I hope your experience is better than ours. read more

Very rude and slow delivery. We have ordered several items costing us around $10,000 from Cedar Park store since 5/14. Today is 7/8, but we received only three items. We are still missing 6-7 items. We went to speak with store manager twice. The only thing he did was blaming to the factory. Now we want to cancel on the items we have not received. The manager told us to pay 10% cancellation fees. Do not ever buy anything from this store. Their personnel is a revolving door. Actual "Ashley Furniture" can be purchased online and many other physical stores if you happen to like something they offer. However, do not ever use this Ashley home "brick and mortar" store. Their customer service is too frustrating to even tell the story and now they have gone to AI bots as the only way to communicate with them unless you go to the store. They do not answer the phone and emails are monitored by AI. As far as our issue with the products we purchased from these guys...we had multiple deliveries of the same product over an 8 month period of time all of which either came in with a manufacture defect or was damaged by the freight company...of course there is no one to contact when this happens so you can't get anything done on the spot...you decline taking the product and then you have to drive up to the store whenever you are able and discuss with another new employee because the person you purchased the product from no longer works at that store...so you start the entire process over again. We have done this 3 times with just the purchase of 2 living room chairs. we will never buy anything from this store ever again. read more

Had some free time on my hands so I stopped by to get a better look at this sofa I intended to purchase. The staff there went above and beyond to take care of me. Absolutely horrible experience. We ordered a dinning room set. Two chairs arrived with broken legs. We're told they would send replacement chairs. Six weeks later they have yet to arrive. We've been rescheduled 3 times to have them delivered. I have stayed home all day each time for them not to arrive. Now they say another 2 weeks. I have family coming for Thanksgiving and not enough chairs. Never will I shop here again. You can't even call the store. They send all calls to some corporate number.
