Look, I'm a Nordstrom gal through and through. I don't buy Rack lol. However, sometimes I do. It's crazy because there are times that both stores have the same merchandise. Quite often. This Rack location has a decent selection. Most recently went shoe shopping with my boyfriend and he found exactly what he needed. Sometimes the store seems a little messy and chaotic with merchandise not displayed properly. It seems customers and employees just kind of let merchandise get tossed about. I was in the middle of a full on fashion emergency for a gala, and Nordstrom Rack may have saved the day. The dress I originally planned to wear did not work out, so I ordered another one. It's technically floor length, but I'm 5'10" so it stops at the ankle instead of covering my feet. So now the shoes have to be stunning enough that no one will even notice the hemline. I ordered a pair on Amazon that were supposed to arrive Friday. Then I got the dreaded update that they were delayed to Saturday... at 10 PM. Well, that's not going to work. So I made the mad dash to Nordstrom Rack Saturday morning. I walked in with low expectations, fully prepared to hit multiple stores before finding anything close to what I needed. Instead, I found the most gorgeous Badgley Mischka crystal pumps. They're slightly bigger than my normal size, but that actually works in my favor. They're comfortable, my toes can move, and I can already tell I won't be plotting my escape from them halfway through the evening. While I was there I grabbed a strapless bra and even found a formal bag that works better than the clutch I originally planned to carry. Sibyl at checkout was the perfect finishing touch to my morning. Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely helpful. The whole experience felt like the Nordstrom culture of service I studied back in graduate school. read more

Do not count on receiving anything you order online. I ordered an evening gown online. When the item didn't move from Processing to Shipped, I called to make sure all was well. I was told that the item was in stock and would arrive within a few days. THE VERY NEXT MORNING, I checked on the order and it was canceled. No email, no phone call, just canceled. When I called customer service, I was told that if an item says "only a few left," I should be suspect that the order will be canceled. WHAT? In other words, don't count on receiving your order until it arrives, and don't bother to call and check on your order b/c we'll just tell you it's being shipped. Twice now this has happened. I hadn't been to this location of Nordstrom Rack in ages because the deals (in the past) were just "meh", it used to be very hit or miss. I decided to go this past week and was blown away!! Either this location got way better, or the month of May is the time to shop, or maybe both! I found 5 shirts, 1 dress, and 2 pairs of pants, all designer/name brand for under $100. I've always enjoyed shopping at the discount stores. Solo Serve, you are missed. Nordstrom Rack does a pretty good job. Don't forget to look at the tag though, because their idea of a discount can still be pretty pricey. They're best for shoes. There's a large selection of the bigger sizes when Marshall's might have two pairs of shoes bigger than 11. The employees do a decent job of keeping the place tidy, so it's not quite like going to the war zone known as Ross. There is a trial at the end of your journey though. Checking out can suck super bad. If the line is doubled over on itself, you're in for 30 minutes waiting for the cashier easy. I've seen so many old men get frustrated and leave after standing in line for a while. Stopping short of the goal seems silly, but if you're in a hurry or impatient, this is not the place for you. read more

I was very disappointed with my visit here. Racks of dresses had items falling off of hangers, tangling up other items. The store feels very crowded. Big Mish mash of clothes together. Cotton dresses with formal dresses with swimsuit wraps. I realize we aren't in and actual Nordstrom's, but I still expect some level of quality in presentation.  The extreme lack of minimal merchandising or even organizing, makes this store feel like a higher priced Ross Dress for Less. I've been here multiple times and never had issues with customer service like other reviewers are saying. I have made returns here with no issue, and had a relatively easy time picking up online orders. They even let me open my orders in the store so I could return items there if need be. I've found lots of great things here, especially when they have additional sales. The fitting rooms are now open, which helps a lot! The one gripe I have about this place is that the line can be super long, even on weekdays, so plan to spend a bit of time here even if you are only getting a few things. read more

Rack is a hit and miss like every other outlet store. Nevertheless, this location of Rack has the best selection in shoes and women's clothing relative to TJ Maxx or other locations of Rack. However, don't expect too many steal deals from out of here. There is a mini check-out desk close to the men's ties section. You need less than five (?) items, and you'll need a bit of luck since an employee needs to be around the area. The shoe selection is pretty good. Their shoe selection oftentimes has Sperry's, TOMS, etc. So trendy shoes that young people would like to wear. The heels selection is usually tacky though. The women's clothing section is pretty good, but only holds business casual clothing. I was looking for some slacks, but could not find anything more formal than some cropped pants. Makeup section isn't bad. They hold Nyx very often, and sometimes have more mid-end products you'd find at Sephora like Too Faced. Don't come in expecting Dior to be there though. Parking is plentiful. Especially if you park at the side of the building. Stay far away from the Whole Food customers' parking though. read more

Sucks I have to give this place a 2 star. The deals are great and the products they carry amazing. The main thing I loved about coming here so the easy check out process when you had like 1 thing. You could just find a floor person and they could check you out with your CC. I'm here today. Needing just one vest as I did t plan well. So I'm came in found one. Asked a floor person if they could check me out. Then was told they did away with that. So here I am in line for so far 15 mins and the line is not moving fast. Might change my mind about shopping here for the quick things I might need. If anyone from the rack reads this bring back the quick check out. Like any outlet store, it's all about the price. And for some, there's the thrill of the hunt with finding a great deal somewhere in the store. (If you don't believe me, look at how many people pay attention to shows like Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, and American Pickers.) But for me, there are several things that make the store cringe-worthy. First of all, like any outlet store, some of the products are clearly made to go directly to the outlet. Take that for what you will. Second, one way The Rack saves money is on staffing. I've never been to the The Rack where there's not a huge line for the checkout. And said line would be the subject of complaints if it was a grocery store, Wal-Mart, or Target. Today's visit also involved disinterested staff. I'd come in to make a return. The returns counter had a sign saying that the counter was closed, but there was a person at the counter stacking boxes. I decided to take a chance and ask if I could get some help in a return. I was bluntly and directly told that she wasn't doing returns and I needed to go in the line that looked like the drivers' license office. For a corporation (Nordstrom) that built its reputation on customer service, The Rack is a stark contrast. Yep. There's savings. Nordstrom rack has great deals on everything, but you can't expect them to be prefect. Many of their clothes have make up on them from (I assume) previous costumers who have tried on the clothing. This probably means they might not be washing them? I had to take out a few items from my cart after noticing foundation stains. The sensors beeped which startled me in the clothing area, I have never seen clothing sensors that beep when they have been touched. Also the service is very very slow. I was shocked to find needles all over the ground in the dressing room! A needle had poked my toe when I took off my shoes. This is very very dangerous and there was no one monitoring or around the fitting rooms. I have been coming here since a very young age with my mother, but I do not believe I will be coming back again. read more

I love Nordstrom Rack!! I've always been a fan & customer. The sheer amount of stuff inside the store can be a bit much at first because you're not quite sure where to begin, but once you get into it, you'll find it's all pretty well-organized. I love this place for the clothing quality, options & variety, and the designer brands at off-the-rack prices. I've become somewhat of a pro at shopping here online, and have found their website to be easy to navigate and order from. Pro tip: to save on shipping costs, have your items delivered to a nearby NR store and pick up there! It's an easy process, just be sure to have your order number handy when picking up. Another thing that I love about NR that makes me happy to buy from them is their stance on diversity and inclusion, Black lives, and the active strides they're taking to be the change they want to see. I called to ask if they were capable of removing watch links from a watch I just bought from there that's too big. I was completely understanding if they were not able to, tho most places with a jewelry counter can and will if you bought the watch from there; the way the lady responded was very short and rude didn't check with anyone just said "no mam" I feel like this place has a pretty big problem with customer service. I will only buy things online which sucks because then the sizing isn't right. Hope they hire nicer people who actually like their job. Super annoyed with this location for closing the dressing rooms so early in the day. Came here after work to pick out some clothes. After spending awhile gathering a handful of dresses to try on, I walk to the dressing room and they were closing it. They hung a sign that said "closed for the evening." This was over an hour before they closed and many people were trying to try on clothes. They were starting to clean the dressing, which I totally get, but that should be done when their aren't multiple customers trying to purchase clothing. I would've bought a lot of things this day but decided to go up to the cedar park location where they actually keep the dressing rooms opened. read more

Finally checked out NR after reading the reviews, overall it was not as great as I thought it would be, but still a place that I would go back again. I mean, I thought I would go nuts here and find so many great deals on high quality items, but that wasn't the case. There are some good deals, a lot of it is the stuff that went out of season, or items that are the last ones left on the rack at Nordstrom's that no one buys (striped shirts, offbeat colors, whacked out designs). I found 3 shirts that were priced well, where I would normally pay 25% more if I gotten them elsewhere, so that was cool. A great selection of men's oxford shirts, you just have to rummage through to find your size. Lots of shoes but nothing that caught my eye. Cole Haan's (normally $225) going for $145, but they're made in India (instead of Italy) which is a notch lower in quality (IMO), so I passed. Tiger Woods golf shirts (normally $85 - - WTF?) going for $50 are still high, but it was the last one so I gave in. The woman working the dressing room was great - excellent and friendly customer service, she takes all the pins off the shirts for me before I head into the dressing room. That's what made this a solid 4 star experience. Other than that, the other associates just seemed useless. No "hello" or "can I help you" like you're used to getting at the original Nordstrom's. In fact, most of them just walk around aimlessly in a non-chalant manner as if they're trying to catch thieves in action. The girl rang up my clothes and forgot to take out the security tag (on the shirt), so I walked out and the alarm goes off. A guy then immediately runs out to catch me and says I may still have a tag on my purchase. That would have been annoying as hell had I gone home w/ that thing still attached because you can't take it off....then all your friends would think you're a clepto. They get a few trucks during the week and don't know what they're going to get, so you may have to go a few times to find those great deals you can as they may be gone in a jiffy. read more

I love this place but you don't always find great stuff. You have to frequent it to find the goods, but when you do, its usually great deals. I love that they have such a variety of everything there. hair products, face products, nail polish, bedding, towels, spanx, shoes, everything! I also love they added additional cashiers in the store, (look for someone wearing a green shirt) and as long as you are paying with a card, you are golden. I got a dress the other day that said it was $138 but it was pre-printed with a line marking out that price and printed in the same ink it said $39.99..hmmm. that's when you know it was NEVER THAT PRICE. EVER. They do that to make you think you are getting $100 off. um no. unless there is a sticker on top of another sticker on top of another one, it was never that price, and this is a dress they created to stock in their store. I found a cardigan for $17. deal. especially b/c where I work arms are forbidden. no matter how hot it is outside. love this place. read more

What a great place! After storming out of the big box bridal store in the complex I went to the Rack and found my dream dress....not needing alterations, made of raw silk, on the clearance rack. The associates were so tickled and pleasant when I told them the $57 dollar dress I was buying was for my wedding....no attitudes. Thanks guys! read more

I am in love with this place! My first visit and I bought 7 items for $100. Recently I graduated college, so now I need some fancy shmancy clothes for my transition into corporate, adult world! Plus I'm also taking a client to dinner at the oasis and jeans and a tshirt isn't something I can wow with. Thus, I made a stop here after work and by god, I am so excited to shop here!! Shirts, tanks, pants, workout, SHOES! Everything I don't need and more! I would suggest if you're cheap like me even though you have a decent amount of money saved, to hit up the clearance section only and you can definitely find some crazy deals! :) I actually went to TJ Maxx after this too as my first visit and it was smaller and felt like there was a smaller selection. I somehow spent more money there too per item... SO, in conclusion, you should hit up this place if you wanna look fancy like me for some foofoo business appropriate functions and you will look like you are awesome and make mad bank for cheap! I love the Return Policy here. I just bring I the items and they give me store credits which I use to buy gifts for my family members. The lines can be long depending on time and days of the week. The Sale Associates asked you to check out with a separate swipe machine if applicable. Sometimes the Associates lets you hear their stories ( no, I told her I can't work the weekends 'cause I have a second job.) I guess it is good for emphatic listening. We can always find something here such as poop/toilet toys, NYX makeup and other brands, and kitchen goods like awesome mugs for beverages. I have an obsession with their children section and Women's shoes so I have to time myself and get out otherwise I would go over budget. The Salesperson can be helpful in pointing out where the different goods are located but if one is to look for Waterproof mascara it is better to search intently than rely on just "maybe we don't have it." Would give them negative 10 star for their customer service. I tried to return 3 polos that I purchased for my husband. When we washed them for the first time in cold water and dried them on delicate and cold air, they completely shrunk despite the label stating they could be dried on low heat. So I took them back to the store to return and the manager was completely condescending to me and treated me as if I was trying to get a fast one other. It was ridiculous. She actually told me to wash them again and try stretching them out as f my husband who is an executive should go to a meeting with a POS shirt that's been stretched out. Unbelievable. I was furious. So someone genetically post a response. I am in contact with the district manager. I think I will correspond with him directly. read more

Extremely unhappy with my entire experience. I took a chance and purchased some of their bedding, I didn't feel it was great quality (the sheets were rough) but like most good businesses I thought if I have any issues after the sale I could let them know. Unfortunately, if you are unsatisfied for any reason, you cannot return the items even though their website explains that ANY merchandise can be returned if unworn/unaltered if not happy! The receipt reads the same thing and it doesn't say anything about bed/bath items being non-refundable. They only delivered this information when I returned to the store to explain how unsatisfied I was with their merchandise and wished to return the items. Their response was, "Yeah, we know it's a problem so we're trying to get better at letting people know they can't return bed/bath items." You can't just throw policies at people once they're dissatisfied especially if it's different than what your website and receipt have printed. If a store's policies are different, they need to make things known at the time of purchase or on the back of a receipt so that expectations are crystal clear. I'm stuck with a large purchase that I will never use! read more

This place sucks. Pay attention to the labels nothing came from the Nordstrom store all merchandise is knock off only sold at rack. Further, you can't try any clothes on in the dressing rooms as they are closed yet when you try to return items they say oh sorry that is all final sale. I have shopped at this store for YEARS and spent more than enough money. I went to return an item today that i purchased just a few days ago and they refused to accept it because it had "signs of wear". Everything in this store has signs of wear, that's why it's there! I had to argue with two associates in front of 10+ customers in line before they were willing to take it back. I have never felt so accused and embarrassed in my life.
